2. The Egg's Hatching

The cave was huge, in the cave there were many tents, there were around 100 tents in total. The cave was lit up by torches and there were lamps outside everything light up the surroundings. There were carts that were occasionally coming and going out of the cave from a different and bigger entrance than the group carrying the mysterious egg and the mana core came from.

This place was the GreenCavern village, an orc village in a cave in a forest. There was a big tent in the middle of the cave, the leader of the group of orcs whose name was Gruna took the mysterious egg in one hand and the mana core in the other hand and started walking towards the big tent in the middle of the cave. After a few minute she reached the tent and told the one of the two orcs that was guarding the tent to inform the chief about her arrival.

The orc went inside the tent and lowered his one knee in front of the chief and said "Greetings, chief, warrior Gruna has come from venturing in the forest and asks to come here"

"Let her in" said the orc chief, he was formidable looking, towering at 10 feet tall and muscular build, with rough, and greenish skin. He was adorned in crude armor, on his side there was massive axe. His name was Durotan.

The guard got out of the tent and told Gruna to go in the tent. Gruna walked into the the tent and knelt in front of Durotan after putting the mysterious egg and the mana core on the ground and said "Greetngs, chief."

"Stand up, and tell what you saw there and what is that egg and where did you find that mana core?" Asked the chief.

Gruna stood up and said "Chief, when we got to the place where Gorglug lead us, we were shocked to see a 3 metre huge beast dead and this mysterious egg was there stained with the blood of the dead beast, we extracted the mana core from the dead beast and we couldn't find any other than these around the area."

"Hmm, you can go and rest for now." Said the chief to Gruna. She turned and started walking towards the exit. 'Hah, I am very exhausted from going there, that was a dangerous place, i should get a bath to relax myself.' She thought after exiting the tent.

Inside the tent, Durotan stood from where he was sitting and started walking towards those items, he picked those items from the ground and turned around to go to where was sitting and sat there again, he examined the mana core and was shocked to see the core was of a beast of CC-minus rank. After examining the core, he started examining the mysterious egg, he couldn't identify whose egg it was, and told the guards to call the village's mage.

Just after he said that, the started cracking *CRACK*, after a few seconds a blueish claw with sharp short nails came out of the egg, after a few more seconds a head comes out of the egg, a minute later the creatures whole body came out of the egg. The creature's body is covered in scales that reflect the light in shades of blue and purple. Its feathered wings are small but beautiful.Its eyes are sharp and beautiful and seems to instill fear and awe to whoever sees them. Its tail is long and had fur.

The creature saw the orc stunned because the creature the most beautiful one he had seen in his entire life. After a few seconds the made some sound that the orc couldn't understand, and after that all the pieces of the egg started glowing in blue and purple and started floating a few metres above the orc chief's hand along with the creature, a purple and blue sphere of 4 metres of diameter materialized around the egg that engulfed the creature inside of it. All the mana from the surrounding started getting sucked in the sphere and tremendous amounts of mana also came from below the surface and the sphere sucked those all like a black hole.

The orc chief was extremely stunned and shocked to see this, he hadn't seen something like this in his whole life.
