(General P.O.V)

One second, the bio ship was flowing through the entrance of Xebel to talk to King Nereas, then the next, M'gann felt a cold shudder go through Bio-ship. She leaned into the telepathic link they shared and tried to calm her down as the martian craft trembled.

"What's going on? That tremor right now..."

Kid Flash asked, looking around the ship. The Bio-ship jerked suddenly, evading a long form in the water.

"Shhh calm down girl."

Miss Martian rubbed her seat and tried to comfort her.

"What in the hell was that?"

Artemis asked, all of them had seen the large figure that had just passed them, through the clear walls of the Bio-ship, a feature to let everyone enjoy the underwater environment.

"I told Robin the Megalodon exists! He didn't believe me, now we're gonna get chowed down by it."

Kid Flash wrapped his hands around himself in mock fear, then whispered,

"I'm too young and handsome to die."

That earned him a slap on the back of his head from Artemis.

"Dork."

"Everyone strap in!"

Aqualad ordered then looked at the kids who had their faces plastered on the see through walls of the ship. They were also whispering amongst themselves.

"Kids, that means you too."

Miss Martian called out and reluctantly, Sai pulled Vor and Breeze away.

"Mmph! I'm not scared of the Megadonian!"

Breeze said proudly, showing her tongue to Kid Flash.

The speedster frowned at the dig.

"Why you little..."

The bio-ship, jerked around and suddenly rose up.

"Whoa girl!"

Miss Martian called out.

A huge form passed by the ship and came to rest infront them, staring at the ship with a strange look.

And with that, everyone got a good look at the mysterious creature that had brushed up against them again.

"Well those are... certainly huge teeth."

Artemis gulped.

"Unagi big fishy sama!"

Breeze cheered before turning to her two siblings.

"I told you we were back home!"

"Meh you got lucky. Vor and I can't sense the air like you can."

Sai grumbled, crossing his hands on his chest.

"Besides, I already knew it, I can sense Kai remember?"

Breeze contemplated his reply.

"Then why didn't you say anything?"

She asked, genuinely confused.

Sai looked away, lazily placing his hands in his pants pocket.

"He was acting cool... don't ruin it."

Vor whispered to Breeze only for Sai to hear.

A blush covered his cheeks.

"Vor, you're not supposed to tell her that!"

"Oh."

The young Kryptonian looked taken aback.

Breeze giggled.

"Boys are dumb."

""I agree.""

Artemis and Miss Martian stated at the same time, looked at one another and then laughed.

"Wait, let's back track," Aqualad spoke up.

"What did you mean by 'we're back home?"

The rest looked at the kids who were already vibrating with energy.

"Shoo! big fishy Unagi! shoo!"

Breeze waved the huge snake like fish away. The serpent sent a whistle through the water before shuddering and moving away.

"Am I the only one shocked by the fact a 7 year old just scared away a huge sea monster?"

Kid Flash's words went unanswered.

" Yay, We're getting out of the water!"

Vor said excitedly as the ship continued on it way to the Surface.

"Grangos, here I come my precious."

Breeze whispered to herself, rubbing her hands together with an evil conniving smile.

"See that's why I think the future of heroism is hanging by a thread. It looks like she's hatching an evil scheme."

Kid Flash commented.

"Be nice to Breeze. Sure the kid is weird but she means well." Artemis admonished her kinda boyfriend/teammate.

"Right Breeze?"

She asked the small floating fairy like child.

"Muhahahaha mine!"

Breeze didn't answer, instead she doubled down.

"Oh crap." Artemis eyebrows rose up.

"You might actually be right..."

She whispered to Wally.

"I know right?!"

Kid Flash responded.

"Ok that's enough you two. Let's focus. If we're not on earth anymore, we have to know why. The only person who can teleport the Bio-ship with us inside has to be Aden."

Aqualad pressed on his comms after giving his opinion.

"Can't reach the Watchtower." He frowned.

"Neptune's beard, this mission was important!"

Aqualad suddenly blew up, stunning everyone.

He noticed the sudden quiet and sighed.

"I'm sorry guys...I, I'm just worried about..." He trailed off and sat down before adding,

"And no, that is not an invitation to 'talk it out' I'm alright, I promise."

Miss Martian seemed like she was gonna say something but a slight shake of Kid Flash's head made her swallow her words.

As they neared the surface, rays of light started streaming through the water layer. Beautiful and exotic marine life became the norm. A school of fish that looked like a cross between a rabbit and a tilapia swarm past the Bio-ship. And it wasn't the only weird animal they saw.

A hawk-fish, large seahorses, green whales, Starfern-fish, which was simply a fern with a fin that swarm by darting across the water at short bursts of speed. It had huge fins. All that and more but nothing was as impressive as the Unagi from earlier.

The Bio-ship broke through the surface of the water and revealed to the team, a world straight from a fairy tail. The gentle sun rays hitting the water made it sparkling, in turn due to how clear the water was.

A low hanging mist fell over the shore a distance away. The ocean lapped at the land in a gentle wave, with the shore leading to a raised cliff on the right that looked out into the wide expanse of ocean. Even further away, one could see the peaks of a mountain range that must have been taller than even Everest.

It was beautiful.

"Oh my god."

The words slipped out of Artemis before she could help it.

"I'm thinking, best vacation spot."

Wally said in response. Awe evident in his tone.

Miss Martian blinked her eyes in wonder, the feel of it, the gentle clean air, the light, the green...she felt it all through Bio-ship who basked in the low buzz of energy in the air.

"It's...it's something, I'll give you that."

Miss Martian sighed.

"Wish Connor and the others could see this."

She steered the Bio-ship towards the shore where a familiar face was waiting for them.

"Is that?"

"Mom!"

Vor loudly proclaimed, waving his hands inside the Bio-ship as if Kori could see through the walls.

"Ok, last one to hug her is a dummy loser."

Breeze proposed.

"You're on!"

"Yeah you're on!"

The two boys replied enthusiastically.

Miss Martian found herself beset by three pairs of excited eyes.

"Ok, okay but he careful."

She responded with a small laugh.

Holes appeared under the three kids and they dropped through. In the air, Breeze basically unravelled herself into wind currents and transmitted herself through her connection to all air and popped up next to Kori. She hugged her startled mother and then started dancing in victory.

Sai and Vor looked at one another and figured out it was a match between the two of them. Sparks passed between their eyes.

"Loser has to tell Breeze that she looks terrible in green."

Sai proposed another deal, making Vor gasp.

"She will kill the one who loses!"

Vor protested.

"Exactly."

At Sai's words, Vor smiled.

"You're on."

One with lightning streaking around his form and the other with a bioelectric aura rippling through the air, they zoomed off. A loud sonic boom followed by shockwaves of displaced air, exploded behind them, throwing the Bio-ship back a few feet.

(Aden's P.O.V)

"Greetings god of fire and air." He said sternly, confidently and respectfully.

"I am Mercury and I need you to come with me."

Called it.

I raised up a hand to stop him from saying anything else.

"Before we inevitability become enemies coz fuck you I ain't going nowhere, fight it out, you lose and somebody else stronger comes to your aid, I have one question, how exactly does this work?" I gestured to his get up.

His golden blonde hair was set in a low cut, with a short white toga that framed his body nicely and a sort of sandal boot combination that allowed space for two pairs of wings on his ankles. The wings were white and blurred slightly in my vision. They were phasing out of reality, which is how he was able to go almost anywhere.

"I mean are you the same Hermes I beat up," (At that his face became granite hard) "Or are the Roman gods completely different entities to the Greek gods?"

"Do you shit out of your dick or do you piss out of it?"

He answered back crudely. What made it worse was the British accent he had going on for him. So confusing.

"Wow you gotta mouth on you. Very vulgar." I shook my head and tsked while getting up.

"Looks like I gotta be the one to deal out some... punishment because your dad couldn't."

A look of fear flashed in Mercury's eyes and he stumbled back, raising his hands in surrender.

"Look man, I'm just a messenger and I've been overworked for days due to the shit you fucking pulled. So please cut me some slack."

I adopted a thoughtful look.

"Okay. But leave."

I waved him away.

Now, how can I get this whole thing back to my dimension? I can't exactly leave a freaking artificial planet with mass extinction weapons floating in the middle of nowhere.

"Huh...Aden Strong...sir." I actually heard him gulp in fear as I turned to him.

He flinched when I hit him with my unimpressed look. Huh. When did I become so terrifying? Oh yeah, when I killed the shit out of the god of evil and destroyed his Star System sized planet.

What Mercury was mistaking for hostility was exhaustion, I just wanted to see Kori and my kids. I didn't have time for this.

"Look, I'll make it easy for you. Tell them...you couldn't find me."

It was clearly the obvious thing! If I was Mercury that would be my go to excuse.

"It's not...it's not as easy as that."

He shifted his body and looked away. Seriously this guy was a god? He looked like a kid caught with his hands in the cookie jar. Realization dawned on me.

"Whoever sent you, they're watching me right now, right?"

He nodded. I sighed, closed my eyes and counted to 10. Then 20, you know just to make sure I was calm enough for my next words. I opened them and plastered a smile on my face.

"Hey guys, girls and whatever Loki is at the moment, ( of course the Norse God of chaos and trickery, is part of whatever meeting of the big wigs this is) I'm sorry I broke the universe or whatever fucking thing it is you're blaming me for. Even though I just removed a massive headache for you fucks."

"I hold myself accountable and as soon as I'm done seeing my family and preferably sleeping for 10 straight hours, I'll make sure to turn up at the galactic universal, cosmos meeting/trial thingie you got going on. We good?" I went silent for a short while before nodding to myself, satisfied,

"Yeah, we're good."

Mercury had his mouth open looking at me. A brief energy started surging as someone begun trying to teleport in. I could easily lock space down in an iteration of 'sorry, no parking spot available', but instead I settled for words of reason.

"And because I know there are stupid fools among you, who just love to make life difficult for themselves, whoever's trying to teleport in... I'm gonna fry your ass and give you such a BEAT DOWN IT WILL MAKE WHAT I DID TO DARKSEID SEEM LIKE CHILD'S PLAY IN COMPARISON. SO TRY ME BITCH!"

They stopped and I could see Mercury breath in a sigh of relief before giving a curt nod and disappearing the same way he came in, only faster.

"Wow." I was stunned.

"Did I unlock talk no jutsu without knowing?"

Either way, I was glad there wasn't a fight. There was something more important I had to do, other than educating a few clowns on why messing with me was a bad idea.

Seriously, gods were overrated. Except Hestia. And Persephone. They are pretty cool.

I solved the problem of where to stash the War World by simply storing it in my hammer space which had undergone a tremendous evolution. The size inside was immeasurable. Incalculable.

I took one last glance at where Earth had been and sighed. This was not how I'd wanted things to go down. Fuck you Darkseid, you fucking piece of petty shit. Then the boom tube swallowed me.

The minute I stepped out into my dimension, the noise and cacophony I had kept out of bay, slammed into me. Holy crap, having over 7 billion new life forms with some being born every hour and none dying was not a joke. A lot of things needed my attention. There were for example, the Atlanteans marshalling up forces to take over the Naga's nest as a base camp to regroup.

'Hoh boy are they in for a surprise,' I chuckled mentally. It was good to know Aquaman was okay though.

All that was noise and a distraction to me, however. I flew down towards the shore, only minimally paying attention to the Bio-ship and my former teammates, for the image of my family.

Breeze was chasing both Sai and Vor around waving a huge air sword construct and Kai was watching it all happen while giggling.

Kori on the other hand was looking at me gently. Her lips stretched out into a small smile, making me smile in return.

Yeah...this is home.
