History of Alva

This will be just some general knowledge of the World of Alva, where this story takes place.

Like most fantasy stories, magic is commonplace. Some countries will be more advanced than others.

The world is split up into 3 known continents. Which is further divided into kingdoms, countries, etc. We will start on the continent of Neva, in the kingdom of Grayscale. Some lands will have independent sub-countries under which the 'Greate Dru Forest' falls. More on the reason as to why in the story.

There will be multiple races. I will update this page accordingly. As of this moment, the races are as follows.

Fay/fae/Fairy- A nearly extinct race many thought to have died out in a past war. They are a higher bloodline and are the distant evolution of Druids. They are birthed from the flowers of the world tree and are immensely powerful.

Elves- Not much new information to be said. I would like to make clear that I want a diverse cast, so don't expect them to all be blond and white, and this goes for all characters. I just feel that historically, the fantasy genre is dominated by white skin and Westernized beauty standards.

Druids/Dru's- They will be my take on Druids and Dryads. They are shapeshifters. Each one is connected to a different tree as they are nature spirits. As long as the tree is alive, they are immortal. The older the tree, the more powerful it will be in equipment.

Humans- They are the dominant race in 'Neva.' magical potential varies.

Beast- any type of animal race 

Soul tied- A failed magical experiment or evolution.
