CARMEN.

The night of the concert had begun with excitement and anticipation in the crowd for the performance of the Johansson twins.

The stage was set, the lights were dimmed, and the audience filled the venue with murmurs of expectation.

She took her place on stage, her blonde hair glistening under the soft glow of the stage lights.

Her green eyes scanned the audience, taking in the familiar faces of friends and family who had come to support them.

"Carmen! Carmen! Carmen!" The fans screamed as they cheered for her, everyone loved the blonde sister, both boys and girls.

She smiled and waved at them before looking at her side, expecting her sister to be beside her like she had always been.

As the applause began to die down, Carmen shifted uneasily on the stage.

She looked toward the wings, expecting Marisa to join her at any moment.

But the moments stretched on, and Marisa still didn't appear and a knot formed in Carmen's stomach.

She tried to keep her composure, offering the audience a reassuring smile, but inside, her mind raced. Where was Marisa? Had something happened? Carmen's thoughts spiraled as she waited, her fingers absentmindedly squeezing the microphone.

After what felt like an eternity, the stage manager approached Carmen, whispering in her ear, "Is everything okay? We're ready to start but Marisa isn't here yet"

Carmen nodded, trying to hide her panic. "Just give me a minute," she said, buying herself a little more time.

She stepped away from the microphone and pulled out her phone, quickly dialing Marisa's number but it went straight to voicemail.

Carmen's heart sank. She tried to focus on the music, to keep her thoughts from spiraling further, but the weight of Marisa's absence pressed down on her.

The show had to go on, and she knew the audience was waiting.

Summoning all her strength, Carmen returned to the microphone, her voice steady despite the turmoil within.

"Thank you all for coming tonight," she said, her tone measured. "We're experiencing a small delay, but we'll get started shortly."

The audience offered a polite round of applause and Carmen took a deep breath, trying to remain calm as she waited for any sign of her sister.

As Carmen stood on stage, her heart pounding with anxiety over her sister's absence, she pulled out her phone one last time in a desperate attempt to reach Marisa.

She was ready to leave the stage to look for her sister when her phone chimed, signaling a new message that she hadn't seen because of the poor network strength.

Hoping it was Marisa, she quickly unlocked her phone and checked the screen.

It had been sent an hour before the concert.

The message was indeed from Marisa, but it was far from reassuring. Carmen's breath caught in her throat as she read the text:

"Everything is different now. Look where the music begins and that is where we end."

Carmen stared at the message, unable to make sense of it. What did Marisa mean by "look where the music begins"?

Carmen's mind raced, trying to connect the dots. Was her sister in trouble? Was she hiding somewhere, trying to leave a clue for another prank she was pulling again?

Her anxiety only grew as she realized she might need to piece together Marisa's message quickly.

Her instincts told her to leave the stage and go look for Marisa immediately, but she also knew she couldn't simply abandon the audience.

The show must go on, but her heart wasn't in it.

With a shaky voice, Carmen addressed the audience. "Thank you for your patience, everyone. We're going to take a short break."

She stepped away from the microphone and quickly walked off stage.

As Carmen made her way backstage, she focused on Marisa's cryptic message. "Look where the music begins."

Her manager and other directors followed her, shouting that she couldn't go anywhere, but she didn't hear.

She tried to think of places where that phrase might lead her, and suddenly, an idea struck her.

Could Marisa be at their childhood music room, the place where they first discovered their love for music?

Carmen's pulse quickened as she hurried backstage, making a plan to head to the music room as soon as she could.

Carmen's heart pounded as she dashed off the stage, running from her crew who had started to chase after her.

The audience's puzzled murmurs trailing behind her as she ran.

Avoiding the paparazzi, She made her way to the parking lot, her breath coming in sharp bursts as she unlocked her car.

The cryptic message from Marisa echoed in her mind: "Look where the music begins." The only place it could mean was their childhood home.

Carmen sped down the familiar road to the old cottage by the river.

Memories of their shared childhood flickered through her mind as she drove, but her focus was on the task at hand.

She needed to find Marisa and make sure she was okay.

As she arrived at the cottage, Carmen hurried out of her car and up to the door. She fumbled with her keys, her hands trembling as she unlocked it and pushed inside.

The scent of the old house hit her, bringing back a flood of memories. She pushed them aside, needing to stay focused.

Carmen moved quickly through the house, heading straight for their shared bedroom, the music room.

When she entered, her breath caught in her throat. On the table lay a powdered substance, and a trail of it and blood led to the bathroom.

Her stomach churned as she followed the trail, her footsteps cautious and her heart racing.

The bathroom door creaked as she pushed it open. Inside, the light flickered ominously.

Carmen's eyes fell on the bathtub, and her world shattered.

Marisa's lifeless body floated in the water, her arm hanging limp from the edge of the bathtub and her phone on the wet tile, ringing as their manager tried to get through to the dead redhead.

Carmen rushed forward, her scream echoing in the small bathroom.

"Marisa!" Carmen cried, her voice breaking. She reached for her sister, her hands trembling as she tried to lift her out of the water.

But it was too late. Carmen's tears streamed down her face as she clutched Marisa's lifeless form,

The flickering light cast eerie shadows around the room, heightening the sense of loss.

With a sob, Carmen pulled out her phone and dialed emergency services, her voice shaky as she tried to speak.

All she could do was hold Marisa's icy cold body close as her world collapsed around her.

In the months following her sister's death, Carmen's life took a dark turn.

Struggling to cope with the loss, she found herself drawn to the same substances that had claimed Marisa's life.

What began as a way to numb her pain quickly spiraled into an all-consuming addiction.

As Carmen's drug use intensified, her once-promising music career faded away.

She squandered her savings on her habit, leaving her in a precarious financial situation.

Her friends and family watched helplessly as she drifted further from the person they knew and loved.

One evening, her parents decided they could no longer stand by and watch their daughter destroy herself.

"Carmen, we need to talk," her mother said, her voice gentle but firm. "We've been watching you, and we're worried about you. This can't go on."

Carmen's father nodded in agreement. "You need help, Carmen. We can't just sit back and watch you throw your life away."

Carmen, lost in her grief and anger, lashed out at them. "I don't need your pity!" she shouted, her voice filled with rage. "You don't understand what I'm going through! This. All this isn't my fault, it's your fault, Marisa and I never wanted this, we never wanted to be famous, you did this to us, you did this to me!"

Her parents tried to reason with her. "We're your parents, Carmen. We want to help you. Please, let us help you," her father pleaded.

But Carmen was beyond listening. "Help me? You're just trying to control me! I'm not a child anymore! You're the reason Marisa's dead, you pressured her so much!" she snapped.

Her mother reached out, trying to hold Carmen's arm, but Carmen pulled away, her eyes flashing with anger.

"Get off me! I'm leaving!" she yelled, storming out of the house.

As Carmen wandered the dark streets, lost in her thoughts, she felt a sudden chill in the air. She was abruptly approached by a group of unknown men.

Before she could react, they surrounded her.

"Hey, watch out!" Carmen tried to back away, but one of the men grabbed her arm tightly.

"You're coming with us," the man said in a low, menacing voice.

Carmen struggled against their grip. "Let go of me! What do you want?"

But the men overpowered her, forcing her toward a waiting van. "Stop fighting! This will go easier if you cooperate," one of the men growled.

Carmen screamed and fought, but her resistance was futile.

She was quickly forced into the van, the door slamming shut behind her.

As the van sped away, fear gripped her heart. She had no idea where she was being taken or what awaited her at the end of the journey.

She couldn't tell how long she was in the van but it was long enough to get her sober and she could smell the change in her surroundings through the crevices in the vehicle.

Soon enough, the doors opened and the bright light almost blinded her.

"Is this the end?" She thought to herself before she was pulled out of the van and taken to a room.

She squinted at the man sitted in front of her with salt and pepper hair accompanied by kind dark brown eyes.

"I'm Mr Sanchez, what's your name darling?" He asked.

"Carmen Johansson?" She answered, her voice barely a whisper.

"You will go by Jacquelynne Moretti now, your code is 055-342- CAA" He said as he handed her a small scrap of paper.

"What's?" She whispered as she saw him push a red button on his desk,

Huge armed men walked into the room and grabbed her before placing her into another room where she was strapped into a chair.

The woman, clad in a white lab coat walked up to her with a tablet in hand before collecting the paper from her.

"Jacquelynne Moretti?" The old woman murmured.

Carmen gulped as she nodded, still unsure of what was happening.

The woman gave her a heart melting smile,

"This might hurt a bit"

The dark haired woman gasped as her body was shaken roughly,

She shivered as though she had been doused with cold water,

"Wake up, we're here" May whispered immediately she opened her eyes.

Jacquelynne let out a heavy sigh as she checked the time; "How long was I out for?" She asked,

"A couple of hours" May replied as she pulled out a gun and turned off the safety before handing it to the woman beside her,

Jacquelynne took it, feeling the cold metal brush against the soft skin of her warm palm.

This wasn't her thing but she had no choice tonight.

"Don't die on me, Jackie and if you need backup, buzz me" May said in a stern tone as Jacquelynne got out of the car quietly,

"Sure" She smiled at her.

"I'll be waiting here" May informed her.

Jacquelynne nodded before slipping into the enemy hideout under the cover of darkness, her senses heightened as she navigated the unfamiliar terrain.

She had already hacked into their communication network, eavesdropping on their plans and knowing exactly where to strike.

As she crept through the shadows, she encountered a guard patrolling the area.

With a swift and silent takedown, she incapacitated him, leaving him unconscious on the ground.

Jacquelynne pressed forward, her movements precise and calculated.

She eliminated any threats she encountered, using a combination of silenced weapons and hand-to-hand combat.

In a dimly lit room, Jacquelynne found the operatives' base of operations, filled with computers and files.

She quickly scanned the area for anything of value, photographing documents and downloading data from the computers.

As she worked, she overheard voices from another room.

Two operatives were discussing their plans, Jacquelynne quietly moved closer to listen.

"There's a black car right across the building, it's suspicious " one operative said, his voice low and menacing.

"Let's check it out," the other operative replied.

Jacquelynne's heart raced as she realized the gravity of the situation.

She knew she had to act fast to protect May who was the getaway driver, sitting in the car, the woman wasn't too good in dealing with surprise attacks.

She held her breath and pressed her fair body against the wall as she waited for.tgem to pass by her.

And with a swift and lethal strike, she took down the operatives, ensuring their plans would never come to fruition.

With the threat neutralized and valuable intel secured, Jacquelynne made her way back to the entrance. She slipped out of the hideout, leaving no trace of her presence behind.
