CHAPTER 7

I am touching something very soft, this thing smells so good, i leaned closer to it, reaching for another one, it seems to be a hand, oh how lovely it is to be held by the sleeping, i held it and kissed it . "Good morning, your highness." I woke up and found Mr. Gavin sitting beside me, i sat up and moved away. "Uhm how did you get in?" I remember to lock the door before i went to sleep, i looked at him seriously, i saw him chuckle, it was my first time seeing him like that, that made me smile. He made my day, "I've got keys." He said showing me his keys, "get up, we're going to the village." He said and stood up and went outside. I rose up my bed and went to take a bath. To my surprise there was no tub inside my room, i went and called out Mr. Gavin. "Where's my water?" I dared not to look into his eyes, he looked at the ceiling wondering what to say i suppose. "Well, king Henry told me not to be your butler for now, so if you want something you do it by yourself your highness, you got to learn by yourself." After saying that he left. How will i take a bath? I got annoyed and slammed my door.

MR.GAVINS P.O.V

i wasn't really expecting to see the princess , although king henry mentioned that i will be having a companion in this house, a companion you mean, but not a princess and told me never to serve that person but help .

After the incident that day, the king had been so gentle towards me, he never left my side that day, it was like he was worried about me, or am i just imagining things, i got startled when Amari went out of the house slamming the door so loud wearing a huge hat almost covering her face. "What's with the hat?" I ask her pointing the hat, she looked at me annoyingly, "are you saying i look stupid?" She said marching towards the gates, i ran towards her and grabbed her red ribbon that was tied to her hair and pulled it off, there her hair fell off her back softly as the wind slowly blows, she had long golden curly hair, when you try to stare at her, she looked like she's a 15 year old girl, but she's the toughest lady i know, that makes her look older.

"Why did you do that?" She turned to me, then i stop myself from looking at her , "are you seriously wearing that to the village?

People will just laugh at you looking like an ostrich head." I chuckled telling her, thinking she might laugh at my joke but then she looked down and took off her hat and just stood there, i got into myself realizing she was not used to this, and didn't have friends around her telling jokes. I went to her and took her hand, she looked at me, "you look more beautiful when your hair is not tied up." I saw her blush, then she looked away. then we walked down the hill to go to the village.

"Good morning!! New baked breads only for 5 cents!" The baker shouted as we passed by him, i see Amari smiling at the baker, the baker went awe looking at her, he was blushing in short. The village is lively today a lot of them were selling good fruits and vegetables, fishes and meat. I suddenly stopped when Amari pulled me closer to the Market place full of seafoods, "i want that lobster and that crab please!" She said enthusiastically to the lady, "all yours young lady." She replied, i saw her smiling again, its like everything that she sees are so new to her, like she cherishing every moment. After buying the crabs and lobsters we went to buy some ingredients, then i saw some flowers, i went to the man selling the flowers and bought one rose, when i turned to Amari she was not there anymore. I lost her to my sight, i got terrified realizing that she's not good at remembering places, i went to search to every places we went awhile ago but she was not there, i was running around the village but there was no sign of Amari, suddenly a kid grabbed my hand , i kneeled down, "are you looking for the lady with beautiful hair?" He asked me, that must be Amari. "Can you tell me where she is?" I asked him and he pointed towards the fountain, i saw her sitting down, with a baby and a mother, i was going to call out for her when she suddenly gave a mother her golden bracelet, the mother cried and and hugged her, she immediately left afterwards. That's when i came to her, "i was looking for you everywhere." I sat down beside her and took a deep breath. "Have you been here before?" I looked at her , she seems to be asking a serious question to me. I wonder what that kid ssid to Amari. "Yes, i come here often."i replied, i stood up and told her to go home now because it was going to rain again. While walking down the street, we passed by a library. "Can i go there tomorrow?"she asked me and i nodded in response. Then we headed home.

Amari sat in front of the fireplace as the rain pours harder, i went at the back to gather the woods. I was going to come back inside when i saw a light into the forest, i went to the forest to check what it was.

I came in and called Amari because i was boiling some crabs and lobsters at first she thought it was raw, but then when she tasted it, she couldn't get enough. She loves the boiled seafood. I see her eat so happy, then i remembered someone i knew years ago, she reminded me of her.

PRINCE JULE'S P.O.V

"Father, can't i not marry one of the daughters of king Henry?" I asked my father, he's the king of scotland, he was still ignoring my question, i just kept following him around, then he stopped walking and turned to me "what's wrong with you son? You've been acting weird." He said to me, I laughed at him "oh sorry, I'm not, you know i knew Amari because you and kinf Henry were good friends." He frowned, then he looked down "that was a long time long time ago." He said and left. King Henry and my father were best friends ever since they were kids but now, after the kings wedding they fought because king Henry did not listen to my father, that there was something wrong with the new king.
