Chapter 437- An old friend

After talking to the doctor, Alexander came out of the cabin. He headed back to the ward. As he walked down the lobby to the executive wards, he saw a familiar figure coming out of a room.

He had known him since middle school.

His lips hooked automatically, and his legs moved toward him. "Christopher…" He called out to him, tapping him on the shoulder.

The man, who was as tall as him, turned to him. His brow creased a little at first, and then a smile surfaced on his face.

"Xander!"

"You have disappeared for the past two years. No calls, no messages… I thought you were not in town." Alexander started complaining.

"Give me a hug first." Christopher hugged him.

"Oh, man. I missed you, really." Alexander hugged him back. "Where have you been?"

"You know, I was… busy." Christopher drew back, a sad look crossing his face.

Alexander's smile also faded. He recalled the incident that had happened with his friend two years ago.
