Yet they got close and comfortable with each other slowly. Then things got ugly when certain misunderstandings worsened their differences. There were brawls, ego clashes, and doubts. Chapter 42- Remorse and anger

Derrek turned to follow her when he saw a drawing book lying on the ground. The sketches on it caught his attention. He picked up the book and checked each sketch, flipping one after the other pages. His eyes glittered as a smile slipped across his lips.

"You are not bad at drawing," he said as he hurried after her.

"Drawing is my passion." She sounded casual. It was not a big deal to her.

She loved drawing, and she knew she was good at it.

"Become my artist. I swear I will pay you well." He took the key out of his pocket and unlocked the car.

"Artist?" Yasmin threw him a puzzled look as she sat in the passenger seat.

He leaned towards her, resting his forearm on the car's roof. "I develop games, I need artists to draw my characters. I am quite impressed with your sketches. Don't turn me down. We are family."

Yasmin laughed as she buckled her seatbelt. "Okay. I will think about it."
