Academy of Chaos

“…… She’s a failure from birth” The words of her Grandmother echoed continuously in Yetunde’s head, as she aimlessly wandered the forest, with tears running down her pitiful eyes. Her attention and interest immediately got piqued, when she heard an eerie but peaceful song, alongside a cluster of weird but beautiful glowing particles, originating from a cave, deep within the treacherous ends of the forest. At the entrance of the cave, she felt a grotesque energy surge, which for some reason attracted her towards itself, thereby distorting her sense of reasoning. On entering the cave, Yetunde was immediately greeted by a group of infuriated witches. Originally wanting to kill her for intruding, Yetunde finds redemption and solace in the coven. The Queen of the Coven, Ella, surprisingly gifts Yetunde with a rare Arcane treasure, which she believed would help the young girl out of her present predicament. Shortly after the encounter with the witches, Yetunde was suddenly accepted to school at the most prestigious Academy of magic, known famously as “Solaris Arcane Academy”. Her acceptance was due to the sudden awakening of her innate Affinity. Not only gaining popularity, she gained superiority and soon found herself in an environment of both people who despise her and those who loves her. CHAPTER 5: Solaris Academy

A week later,

Adebayo's Manor,

Eufrica.

Yetunde casually walked out from the giant gates of her father's Mansion, which was made from gold. She was escorted by two guards, with each one of them tightly holding a weirdly shaped shotgun, which were definitely a product of Arcatech. Both guards had dark skin with an extremely muscular body build.

She wore a beautiful, long, green colored, sleeveless gown which tightly hugged her body, highlighting her beautiful curvy edges. The gown had a V-shaped neck which exposed her cleavage, to a point, where the guards couldn't help but steal few glances at, which she noticed. She wore multiple pairs of gold bracelets, armlets and a necklet. Her hair was another story, as it was lavished with expensive jewels.

Clearly, you could tell she was attending some kind of royal party.

"You didn't have to follow me all the way here" Yetunde complained.

"We're just following your father's order Milady!" One of the Guard replied.

"Thanks, but I can get to the Griffin pen on my own" Yetunde said.

"Sorry Milady, we are not allowed to leave your side" The Other guard replied.

"Alright!" Yetunde said, as she halted her movement which caused her boobs to bounce slightly, catching the attention of the guards, putting them in an uncomfortable position.

Yetunde immediately noticed what transpired, as her lips mischievously curved up. "You guys are sweet but I can't date either one of you!" She slyly commented.

"What are you talking about Milady?" The guards simultaneously exclaimed.

Hearing the guards, Yetunde seductively chuckled "Oh don't play dumb, you know what I'm talking about. Besides, I noticed that you guys have been stealing glances at my wonderful curves".

"It was him!" Both Guards exclaimed, pointing at each other.

"There's no need to deny, I caught both of you red-handed. Besides, if I were to choose which one of you to date, it'd be you" She seductively said, pointing at the guard which stood by her left, leaving the other guard utterly shocked.

"What, why him?" The rejected guard exclaimed.

Seeing that tension between the guards was dramatically rising, Yetunde sinisterly cackled internally while she kept smiling. "He is more handsome and muscular than you" She commented wryly.

"That's impossible!" The rejected guard exclaimed, flexing his huge muscles. "Milady, take a look at these bad boys" He added.

"Wow, you're right, you're muscles are more bigger than his!" She began to caress The rejected guards muscles.

"Huh, No Milady, Mine are bigger and also I'm more handsome!" The other guard angrily commented.

"Relax mate, I'm more handsome than you, aren't I Milady?" The formerly rejected guard proudly said, infuriating his colleague.

"Yes you are!" Yetunde replied.

"That's impossible, that bastard can never be more good looking than me!" The newly rejected guard yelled.

"Hey Mate, who're you calling a bastard?" The other guard replied, pointing his shotgun at his colleague, who reciprocated, pointing his at the other.

"You Damnit!" The Newly rejected guard angrily erupted.

"Tsk, don't point that shit at me!" The other guard exclaimed as he realized something. "Milady!" He said, shifting his attention from his rival.

"Fuck, she's gone!" The rejected guard shrieked in fear. "Boss is going to kill us" He frightfully added.

"It's your fault!" The other guard yelled.

"My fault? Damn you!" The rejected guard roared angrily.

Meanwhile,

Griffin's Pen,

Adebayo's Manor.

The Griffin pen was an incredibly huge warehouse made from glass and steel bars. The glasses were reinforced with Mana which made it seem unbreakable.

Outside the pen, was a ridiculously large field filled with flowers and green grasses. On the field, one could see an extremely gigantic Griffin, attached to a sophisticated looking coach.

Despite human breakthrough with Arcatech, the technological advancement hasn't gotten to the point where they could create aircrafts. So humans still relied on magical beasts that had the ability of flight.

Outside the Coach, two guards were seen at the controls , which was a series of cables attached to a metal frame which was mounted on the Griffin, while inside the Coach two people could be seen casually sitting.

These two were none other than Yetunde's Father and Grandmother. Her father was dressed in a black Tuxedo, which was designed with multiple gold plating's and metal badges, while Yetunde's Grandmother was casually dressed.

Yetunde's Grandmother soon grew impatient, giving her son a massive death glare, causing him to choke on his saliva. "Where the hell is your daughter?" She angrily erupted, breaking the awkward silence.

"She's on her way!" He replied.

Hearing her son, she couldn't help but grumble wondering why she was even there in the first place. "She better get here quickly, I'm getting tired of waiting.." The grumpy old lady said before she was interrupted.

"Is that so?" A voice echoed, causing Both Yetunde's Father and Grandmother to curiously stare at the entrance of the Coach. A teenage girl dressed In a long green gown casually waltz into the Coach, the girl was Yetunde.

"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting Grandma" Yetunde kindly apologized. Her Grandma did nothing but scoff, as she looked away in disgust.

"Where are your guards?" Her father curiously inquired.

"I got rid of them" She immediately replied with a mischievous smile, taking a seat by her Father's right side.

Seeing her mischievous smile, her Father couldn't help but chuckled as he imagined what would have transpired. Surprisingly, what he had in mind was exactly what Yetunde did.

"You shouldn't have done that!" He exclaimed, trying to hide his awkward smile, causing Yetunde to erupt with laughter. "Whatever you say Dad" She hysterically replied.

"Can we go now!" The grumpy old lady exclaimed.

"Alright!" He answered.

"Guards, we're ready!" Yetunde said to the guards, who were at the controls.

"Okay Milady!" The Guards replied. Moments later, they were airborne and thanks to the Griffin's frightening speed, it would take them approximately eight minutes for them to get to Solaris City.

The journey was completely boring, as everyone stared at each other. Soon, Yetunde's grumpy grandma broke the silence, "Why are you even going to the Academy? You don't have an Affinity, so what's the use of attending the Acceptance ceremony!" She said with indifference.

Unlike before, Yetunde glared directly at her Grandma with confidence " With or without an Affinity, I'm going to be accepted into the academy." She smirked and for some reason didn't tell them that she had already awakened her Affinity.

"You're extremely foolish and naïve. There's no way you're getting accepted into the academy" Her grandma proudly said.

"If you say so…. Grandma" Yetunde replied sadistically.

After their brief chat, the Coach went back to being silent but it was immediately broken as they had arrived at Solaris City.

"Wow, it's beautiful!" Yetunde gasped in awe, admiring the City's beauty.

"Dad, I wanted to ask you something" Yetunde added, staring at her Father.

"What is it Dear?" He replied.

"I've always wondered why Solaris Academy, is the only Arcane academy in the world?" Yetunde curiously said.

"Well, after The Great world war, Most of the Arcane Academies at that time, were destroyed beyond repair. So rather than rebuilding them independently, The UC [United Continent] decided to build a Global Arcane Institute, open to everyone" He explained, while the coach suddenly halted at a huge marble tiled runway.

"Oh, I didn't know about that" She said, as they alighted the Coach and casually walked towards a giant fortress.

"Wow, This isn't your average Academy. It's a literal fortress" Yetunde exclaimed in shock.

"You can say that again. The Institute is actually an Independent district in Solaris City" Her Father said in awe.

"Nice, this is it. This is what I have been waiting for, Solaris Arcane Academy!" She said with a smirk.
