Repelling the Attack

Things didn't go as Chris planned. They never do for anyone, one can only adapt and proceed in their lives.

First, he thought he had time to complete the world quest and he would be well prepared to defeat them but that out badly. He had to connect with the core to defeat them. Sure it turned out for the best at the end but that all depended on luck. If his luck was low, he surely would have ended up dead.

Next, the awakened were supposed to appear a year after the game was introduced but in the end, due to the early awakening of the world, people found out that they had abilities earlier than supposed to. It already alarmed the world governments, and they already posted recruitments for the awakened.

Chris wanted to join but he wanted to let his sister know before deciding to whether join or not. This too went down the drain. Some idiots who thought that they were highway pirates, were now trying to bring down the plane he was in.
