Chapter 04: Death and Companions 4(final)

A heroic spirit is classified into different classes, saber, lancer and archer, also called the three Knight classes, assassin, berserker, rider and caster, called the four cavalry classes. All together the make up the seven classes that a heroic spirit can be summoned as. Each class having different strengths and weaknesses.

Saber- Servants placed within this class are agile and powerful melee warriors armed with swords. It is commonly assumed to be the best class overall, with high parameters in all categories.

Lancer- Servants placed within this class are very agile and skilled with long-range melee weapons, such as spears, lances, etc.

Archer- Servants placed within this class are usually proficient with projectiles and can survive longer without a Master nearby, thanks to their class skill [Independent Action].

Rider- Servants placed within this class place emphasis upon speed and powerful Noble Phantasms, which often include their mounts (which can range from simple horses to mechanical vehicles to divine or supernatural creatures).

Caster- Servants placed within this class are adept in magecraft and have a class skill akin to a Reality Marble, called [Territory Creation], which alters or creates space around them to enhance their sorcery.

Assassin- Servants placed within this class are proficient in assassination and stealth. The Assassins' class skill [Presence Concealment], which allows them to remain undetected.

Berserker- Servants placed within this class are always heroes who have gone berserk in their lifetime or fight recklessly. This trait allows them to use the class skill [Mad Enhancement], which trades their sanity for a large power boost.

While these are the seven traditional classes that a heroic spirit can be summoned into, there are few extra classes other than these 7. But these classes have more specific requirements for heroic spirits to be qualified for them.

But out these 9 classes, the Avenger class is especially dangerous. Heroes who are qualified for the avenger class are driven by revenge and hate, which makes avenger class heroes not only a danger to themselves but also to their surroundings.

-scene change-

In an alternate worldline where a magus summoned a heroic spirit in the 4th holy grail war, the magus who thought himself superior than the hero of legends, which led to his demise.

Unfortunately for the magus the heroic spirit was not only a ruler in her lifetime but she was also summoned as an avenger.

So, she killed him and proceeded to destroy and kill everything on her path

-scene change-

Fuyuki city, a once prosperous city filled over 400,000 people was now destroyed. Houses burned down and the people killed, and standing on atop of the ruins of the once beautiful city was the one who caused the destruction of the city, a beautiful woman with crimson red hair, and a red cape which hides the left side of her body. This was woman was the one known as the demon king of the sixth heaven, and one of the greatest military commanders of all time, Oda Nobunaga.

Her face seemed expressionless but within her eyes which contained many emotions was slight tint of regret, unfortunately the regret is too small and is drowned by her hate.

{Oda Nobunaga, would you like to hear my offer}

The woman did not show any reaction except slight stiffening of her body. Looking around the woman tried to find the origins of the voice.

{if you accept my offer, you will be able to go to a new world}

Her only reaction to its statement was to raise an eyebrow.

{a new world means new stuff, you will be able to see technology, magic, kingdoms and people that you have never seen before.}

The woman didn't reply, there were no change in her eyes except for the slight twinkle in her eyes but that too disappeared as soon as it appeared.

{but that is not all, my host has the potential ability to travel to any world he desires, you would be able to see so many new things, from technology to food to people. and most worlds have made enormous scientific advancements.}

Her face didn't change but the twinkle in her eyes increased in intensity.

{aren't you even a little curious about it, to see new things?}

"If…IF I accept, what must I do? I don't believe you will grant me all those things you listed without expecting anything in return." Her voice was soft yet there was a hint of curiosity that laced it.

{simply accompany my host.}

She waited for it to continue but it didn't. "And? You can't expect me to believe that is all there is? There must be something you are not telling me?" she asked the mysterious voice with slight frustration in her tone.

{but it is, all you must do is to accompany him and…maybe protect him, at least in the beginning}

"And? Is your host a male? Female? A pervert? A rapist? Psychopath? A goody two shoes? Tell me about your so-called host, and then I will think if I should accept it." The woman asked, afterall she was one of the worlds greatest military commanders, she won't take a decision until she knows enough information.

And thus started Q&A session between a temporary ultimate skill and a Demon king.

After several minutes of discussion, between the two, Oda Nobunaga finally made up her mind.

"Fine, if what you say is true then I shall accept your offer. But know this if I see any sort of deception, I shall make your host wish he be never born." The woman stated, for she doesn't make threats, threats are for cowards and idiots, and she is neither.

While The magi of the clocktower were suffering from headaches trying to cover the incident where a city of 400,000 people was destroyed.

Finally, it's over. Now its time for the story to truly begin.

Honestly, I had fun writing the POV of the ultimate skill.

I wanted to make the ultimate skills personality as unstable as possible to signify that she is incomplete. Not sure if I conveyed that though.

Also do you guys think I've done good for the personalities of the servants. I think I've done a good job, but tell me if I haven't.

Anyway, I'm going to take a long-needed nap. Peace out.
