Chapter : 5 Ajuka fails

As the chaotic morning finally subsided, it was now night, and Dylan found himself lying beside his mother. She was engrossed in a peculiar book with intricate patterns on its cover, almost resembling a magical book.

"This is so boring," Dylan pondered in his infantile thoughts, growing bored with the current routine filled with peculiarities. Earlier that morning, a baptism guy arrived and began placing a chess piece inside him, only to abruptly cease and retrieve it. After some time, the figure returned, attempting the same procedure but failing once again.

Observing Ajuka's actions, Dylan surmised he was attempting a cure, playing the role of a doctor to his apparent patient.

Worry crept into Dylan's thoughts, "Yet, a troubling feeling nags at me. What if the baptism guy can't cure me? Could it lead to some problems?" His mind raced with hypotheses.

Shrugging off concerns, Dylan adopted a resilient attitude, "Who cares? I'll face any problems just like in my previous life." A hint of sadness crossed his face, but determination quickly replaced it. "I'll focus on my happiness," he declared, a determined smile forming as he curled his small fist.

The room filled with silence as Dylan has already went to sleep as Grafiya closed the book as she kept the book aside as layded down carsing dylan as she also scumbed to sleep.

The room plunged into silence as Dylan succumbed to sleep, Grafiya gently closing the book and laying it aside. She then settled down beside Dylan, softly caressing him before drifting into slumber herself.

The next morning unfolded just like any other for Dylan—waking, sipping milk from his bottle, and settling into his cradle. However, his tranquility was once again abruptly disrupted when Sirzechs once again handed him over to Ajuka.

This time, there was a stark contrast; Strangely, there was no one from Dylan's family, except his mother who bid him farewell. The so-called new father left through a magic circle, leaving Dylan on an altar surrounded by mechanical instruments and screens.

"Darn, is this guy going to perform some surgery on me or what?" Dylan wondered with a hint of fear in his infantile thoughts as he saw Ajuka approaching.

Contrary to his fears, a purple transparent energy dome enveloped him while Ajuka, engrossed in his mechanical instruments without touching dylan, remained silent. The process extended for hours, interrupted only by brief moments when Ajuka brought in a maid to feed Dylan.

As another day passed, Ajuka, still tirelessly at work, expressed his frustration. "What's the issue with this kid? I can't comprehend why the king piece won't infuse with him."

Examining the screen with intricate diagrams, Ajuka muttered, "His brain activity is remarkably high for a newborn. What baffles me more is why he doesn't cry, even in the absence of his parents. I even arranged beautiful girls to care for him if he cries, but he remains silent".

"Sorry, Sirzechs, it seems I can't provide any good news," Ajuka sighed as he departed, leaving behind a maid to keep a watchful eye on the peculiar child.

In a dimly lit room, bathed in golden rays, Ajuka sat on the sofa as a crimson magic circle appeared, with Sirzechs materializing. "You called quite early. I thought you would examine him for some more days," Sirzechs said, taking a seat opposite to him.

"Well, I examined him the whole day but couldn't find the reason. I also called you so we can discuss what to do with him because there is no way he will gain demonic energy. His body rejects it immediately, and if forced, he might be killed," Ajuka explained.

"I don't know what to do either. The day he was born, I had suspicions that he doesn't have any demonic energy. Even my father had the same suspicions. He even told me to hide his birth secret from the world, so only a few family members and some maids know about him," Sirzechs shared.

"What could you suggest, Ajuka?" Sirzechs asked.

"Well, Sirzechs, you're my friend, but I have no right to make your family decisions. But I will say this: power doesn't always come to those who are born stronger. It comes to those who work hard to achieve it. I know what your father might be planning with your child, but ultimately, it will be your decision. Choose wisely to avoid regrets in the future," Ajuka advised as he left.

Sirzechs went to the room where Dylan lay asleep, picked him up, and teleported back to Gremory Castle.
