I listened to the werewolf's words and understood the hidden meaning behind his tone.
Although I was annoyed by their commanding attitude, I was still willing to resolve some avoidable conflicts beforehand.
"Just to clarify, you can't blame me entirely for today's incident. I was also caught off guard by Donald's move! The arrow I shot at Henry was solely to save him. Don't go stirring things up in front of her and cause me trouble," I said.
After speaking, I nodded to the werewolf beside me, signaling him to use some of the rare medicinal herbs I kept on me for Henry, to ensure he wouldn't die before we reached Poison Snake Island.
It seemed like he accepted my explanation. The werewolf in the cockpit withdrew his gaze from Henry, nodded, and stopped talking.
