Chapter 49: The Dust Settles
With Miles keeping the peace on his end, Scott felt like things were finally starting to calm down. Lydia and Toby had taken to their new life almost immediately, Toby was ecstatic to be going to school with other people.
“I thought things were clear, Adan,” Scott wasn’t all too surprised to know that the man had decided to make one last appearance at his home.
Sitting on the steps outside, both Scott and Theo were just trying to enjoy the new change in their pack.
“I wanted to talk to Theo, I understand you have no interest in talking to me anymore,” Adan responded and Scott was at least happy to see that the wolf shifter had lost the rest of his confidence.
“Scott told me that he went to see you. I experienced my first shift and I’m officially part of Scott’s pack now too,” Theo responded with a small smile as he looked over at Scott.
