It was moments like these when Lance wished he wasn’t such a hermit, he knew that Laurel was hanging out with Leo and Viola, and Scott. Just the mere thought of Scott sent his heart beating followed by the heat rising to his cheeks. Lance felt like such a child right now, getting all flustered at the thought of Scott.
“Scott is Theo’s older brother. Theo is my student. Surely there’s some kind of boundary that I have to be crossing for pining after Scott like this.” Lance complained as he fell back against the couch, pressing his hands into his eyes. The man knew that this, all of this, was risky in so many different ways.
Lance barely knew Scott to begin with, he only really knew Scott through Theo and through the bookstore after all. He felt the need to remind himself that he was Theo’s teacher first and foremost, so surely there has to be some moral standards when it comes to dating your students' family members.
