A Voyage Of The Unlucky Anomalous Mage Across The Boundless Realities.

Once upon a time, a young man had so much to look forward to in the future; now, it had been ripped away in the blink of an eye in a matter of a day, including those who were close to him while he survived—although he thought he was going to survive. Now reborn as a baby again, Tristan Devroop Akvash is tossed into a seemingly ordinary world with fragmented memories of his past life that he refuses to piece together. I mean, why would he when this new life of his is fantastic!! Yet, everything seems to fall off again as awakens to what this world had always been from the beginning, where another tragedy will unfold where young Tristan can only watch and be transported off to a deserted field of snow. Through that brief period of tragedy, he was held at a crossroads of what he'd become. But an annoying voice in his head and an odd entity of unknown origins had somehow kept his mind "mostly" intact, and he would meet strange people as his caretakers who had prior dealings with his parents. He will explore his new abilities in this world and possibly discover parts of himself that he hasn't known about, even from his last life in this World Of Darkness. I want to say that this story starts out completely dark, not the first chapter but the second. It's also not fast-paced, as the focus will be on other characters, too. (Anyway, things won't go wrong for Tristan again until he is 10, so he will have time.) (I do not own the World of Darkness or any other potential worlds. The World of Darkness is a role-playing tabletop game that doesn't have to be completely accurate, and there will be OCs and tons of bullsh*t happening in it with all the entities within. Kind of similar to the SCP world but with 30 years of lore continuity.) (Also, this story might include World Travel too. I haven't decided yet, but if I were to choose, then his next world should be wholesome or the complete opposite of grim and dark to create a new challenge for him) (I do not own any of the Pictures, Cover: Scpishka.) Extra tag: Romance Main World: WOD Second World: ???? Third World: SCP Fourth: The Fuck Is This?!?!?!? (Warning: Read Auxiliary before reading the story, to be less confused)

The Enlightens Curiosity, Flight, New Knowledge... Also New Caretakers??

(POV: Derrick[??????])

[In The Cockpit After Tristan Was Done Eating]

The only reason why I took this job in the first place was because I wanted to live in this moment of reality out of a core feeling edging me here.

Honestly, this was the only Avatar of myself I had given any wants, needs, or desires out of complete randomness.

Every single reality to me has always had a different vibrance to it, like a story that has a different path that each living being takes, but all of it had a standard parallel, and this world was no different from the rest of them.

And yet, In this world, I have met an interesting group of people from my time as a mortal who shared a few similarities to the countless mortals.

But there was a pair that he felt was interesting to watch, and those two immediately dropped away from their adventures in order for something truly bizarre.

It was that child they gave birth to. I couldn't passively see 'him.' His true self was protected ever since he was born, and yet that protection felt incomplete to me. I could've tried to brute force it back then.

Still, in the end, all of my excitement of seeing something new would crumble before me if I did, and what I felt from the child was something that was unchained by the very concept of fate.

This world only has him, and looking into other infinite timelines will only be what I already know of, except when it would involve the child.

In contrast with his parents, they were already being spun around by fate even before he was born.

This wasn't the first time for fate to set out for a victim, but for it to maliciously coil itself on two random mages?

And worst off for those two, they probably weren't in their best condition, excluding Dahlia, and their Paradox was at an all-time limit after their end.

It was as if their entire existence was erased. Probably by the Paradox itself, they really must've got it out for them if the collective force wanted to do something that drastic...

They're not even imprisoning them into their realm at all, just like *poof*, and they're gone... Now that I had given the Paradox realm a look, it seemed enraged and enhanced. The collective consciousness had no target for their rage and became much more bloodthirsty against rule-breaking mages.

Now I feel bad for the mages in this universe, and the only link I have is because of the child birthed from Dahlia and Julius.

That so-called Spirit of Tristans' is way too similar to the paradoxical Spirit of this world.

Still, instead of a collective force, it's like an amalgamation of narrative clusters given form and would lead to even more destruction if it wanted to, similar to the wyrm in some cases.

That narrative Spirit was initially supposed to be like that until Tristan happened. Or was there something else about her I don't know about?

Instead of seeing her very core as something destructive, it held an obsession, a very unhealthy one, in fact, that must've directed her to become as powerful as she could... It's such a contradicting being. She would've devoured less if it weren't for it.

This is probably the best idea I've ever had as I would not have gotten the chance to experience something like this!!!

This was something I would've overlooked, too, as even his psychopomp(a kind of Spirit from deep outer space) is protected alongside the boy with the hiding effect.

But still, he's quite the unlucky kid to have such bad luck for those around him. You'll realize it quite fast, Tristan.

(3rd POV: Kai Conningsworth)

Kai, finally satisfied with his 'job' well accomplished, left for the airplane to drag the boy, Tristan, to Idaho. Luckily, the Chief Elder of the small Wendigo tribe, Chenoo, was close by, making his trip back to The Gates Of The Arctic much smoother.

In order to not make himself look suspicious, he made sure not to tell him the time of when he got here after the creature disappeared, giving the illusion that Kai was, in fact, around after the time it was released. And because Chenoo was in an emotional state, it made it all the more easier.

He sighed to himself when he got close to the plane that was in an illegal landing space. He walked past the snowy incline of hills and found the private plane in one piece.

It took him around twenty-five seconds to go through the Entryway that was left open.

The Interior of the plane was carefully designed, and the furnished space of the cabin had a purple divan layout contrasting with the outside plane, which was white.

Tristan was asleep in one of the bed seating areas; Kai chuckled at the sight of the kid and decided to go to the Cockpit to check on Derrick while giving him some time to rest.

He then gave the door a knock four times to get his attention.

*Knock*

*Knock*

*Knock*

*Knock*

After a couple of seconds, Derrick opened the door, and when he saw Kai's face, he simply said to Kai.

"Are we leaving now, Sir Kai?" Kai immediately confirmed to Derrick.

"We are going to leave right now; I'm getting tired of the rotting corruption stinking up Alaska." With that confirmation, Derrick shook his head and closed the cockpit door to start flying.

And with that, they were finally off to Idaho, Owyhee Mountains.

(POV: Tristan Devroop Akvash)

When Tristan closed his eyes, all he could see was darkness, and that was when Tristan realized he was now in his inner mind. Still, that realization didn't last long when something akin to a stream of black and orange-like shadow swirled all over what was envisioned around him like a countless stream from a river that began to fuse at a single point, creating a blob that started to give off a humanoid shape in front of Tristan. It was a faceless humanoid that was just right in front of him, just a few feet away.

Tristan gave a smile towards the humanoid and said. "It's nice to see you again with a different appearance, Zil." Even if his Avatar didn't have a face, Tristan still had an intrinsic connection towards Zil, knowing that he was excited to meet face to face for once as he said back to him.

"It sure is, Tristan, and you're just in time for me to teach you the beginnings of a mage.

Let us start with what every mage has, which is Arete, a measure of a mage's understanding and mastery of magic.

Mages seek to increase their Arete, striving for enlightenment and the ability to manipulate reality through their understanding of mystical forces." Tristan had an oh face when he heard that, but now he wanted to know a few things.

"Wait, Zil, first off, how do you know all of that info? And secondly, how does one increase this Arete?" Zil answered both of his questions.

"For your first question, Tristan, you're a power scaler in your past life, right?" Tristan somewhat shook his head, yes, but at the same time, he tried looking back into his past life with his selective memory and remembered that a community full of power scalers could be either fun or downright toxic.

"I try my best not to associate with them... And at that point, I had more important things to do, especially with helping marine life and finding a ring for..." Zil then continued talking, ignoring Tristan's depression.

"Every mage's Avatar and their very soul came from only one being, and that being is known as The Essential Divinity." Both of them kept quiet for a moment to see if anything were to happen. Luckily, nothing did. Zil kept talking.

"But we or you, Tristan, are an outlier. You're a random soul from who knows where your existence came from outside all of the Tellurian(whole reality) and fused with a soul that was a part of the Essential Divinity. Somehow, effectively separating that piece from him...

But I'm confused about why that being didn't do anything to stop the fusion in the first place...

Also, to actually answer your question, every Avatar has basic knowledge of how magic works;

it's just that you need to learn the spheres by either finding other Mages to learn from them or brute force it on your own, as each sphere really comes down to how you perceive each sphere, like the mind, Spirit, Prime/primal, etc.

You're better off by yourself with that one unless you want to develop close relationships like subordinate mages...' Tristan added another because Zil was starting to sound weird.

"I thought you were going to say friends?" Zil immediately burst out laughing when Tristan said that. His knees were on the floor, cackling like a madman.

"KHMMM~ PSHKAHAHAHAHAHAHAhAHHHAHAHAHH~" After the long laugh, he soon slowly got up and sighed.

"I was starting to sound edgy, huh..." Tristan looked at him like he was acting weird. And it was said.

"You were, Zil..." The both of them were silent for a while until Zil said to him apathetically, with a hint of melancholy in his voice.

"You and I both know the only times we were lucky were our strange abilities and the fact that we had such wonderful parents, if we exclude a hauntingly familiar anomalous spirit that has been following us around Tristan.

I think we lost our good luck, and all we can do now is grow stronger.

Also, the so-called friends we might make in this world might not even be a good thing at all; it isn't even because they would drag us down or something as dumb as that.

It's this bad luck we have that has been forcing us down upon all of this misfortune, and our anomalous energy, or even abilities for that matter, as of now, can't even remove our bad luck around others." Tristan, who still held on with positivity, said.

"But what about Ano-" Zil interrupted Tristan to tell him the news.

"*Sigh* Tristan, I've already asked our anomalous happy-go-lucky friend, and the level of ability will take a long time, and finding an archmage for something like luck, I mean, sure, it seems like we are out of fate's hands, but our very presence seems horrible for others..."

"But that doesn't mean we should hide from other people, though. It's a part of life when friends come and go... Even in the most tragic ways, hopefully, we could revive them if something happened to them." Tristan sighed in relief, hearing Zil.

"Ok... What else were you going to say, Zil?" The atmosphere between the both of them softened at this point. Now Zil, being a bit more upbeat, said.

"Well, Tristan, It's about your abilities with your shadows, with Arete, as it represents the force with which a mage can do so with magic, and to gain Arete is through practicing to get experience, or like last time, perform a seeking.

But just practicing this magic can be a double-sword when changing reality at a higher level.

What makes it worse is that your Arete is already unnaturally high, and when performing higher magic, there's a possible chance for us to increase Paradox quickly.

And that's where our control over the shadows comes from.

If we use our abilities with the shadows long enough, then we could manipulate a sphere with the shadows as a conduit hidden from the view of Paradox, so try figuring out the sphere you represent on your own now, Tristan, as there has been plenty of apparent hints too along the way you got here...

And also try not to worry too much about everything."

The mindscape began to shake, and Tristan woke from his dream. He looked around the Interior of this plane, still in disbelief that he was even sleeping in such a plane. A voice rang near him, and when he looked in the direction of the voice, it was Kai, who was watching TV on the couch.

"You're finally awake, huh? So how was sleeping on a comfy bed for once, instead of snow?" Tristan had the urge to tell him that he had a lap pillow with him but fought it.

"Feels great... Thank you for helping me, Mr. Kai." Kai rolled his eyes when he heard that response, and he crossed his legs as he leaned back on the seat with his hands behind his head.

"Oh, come on, brat, I'm not that old as of yet. In mage society, I'll always be eighteen years old..." An awkward silence filled the room, and it looked like Kai was waiting for a response. Tristan did try to say something, but it wasn't what Kai was expecting.

"Heh... That was funny. Maybe you should try being a comedian someday, Kai." Kai, who was smiling not too long ago, changed into a blank stare towards Tristan. It was a face that looked like he was going to slaughter an orphan. Kai gave a hollow laugh as he spoke to Tristan.

"Hahh- Ha- look who has jokes... How's it being an orphan?" And Tristan fired back immediately with a smirk.

"And How is it not being eighteen?" Another long silence permeated the room. Kai took a swig of water from his cup holder and spoke to Tristan.

"*SIgh* touché... touché... You got spunk, kid... I think our partnership is going to be something else." Tristan was confused at first but remembered about him talking about his cannabis company.

"You had questions for me about the Cannabis that I've helped my father? But what's the name of your company?" Kai grinned and raised his arms in theatrics.

"My company's name is EnigmaLeaf Enterprises!!!" Tristan actually thought the name was pretty decent, and he relented.

"So, what questions do you want from me? It seems like my Dad ratted me out while drunk. Are you just here for confirmation?" Kai acted like he was hurt.

"Don't say it like that, Tristan!?!?!? It's not all too bad..." Kai finally got a bit serious and started his questioning.

"Were you the one that created that new strain of Cannabis?" Tristan couldn't help but shrug his shoulders hearing the question.

"I sure am, Kai..." Kai, when he heard the confirmation, was beyond excited as he rushed to Tristan and started shaking his hand rapidly.

"You and I are absolutely going to make a ton of money!!!!!! And I mean a whole lot, to the point where we'll be practically swimming in it!!!!" When he was saying that speech, he had his hand on Tristan's shoulder, waving his hand up at the sky, and if the position of his arm was angled a bit lower, then it would look like a particular salute.

Kai stepped back a bit and sat back in his chair, and he acted like that entire thing didn't happen. And said, "Yeah... I'm not entirely horrible enough to do something like child labor, so I'll wait till you grow up so that you and I can actually be business partners."

Now that Tristan was awake, he was wondering how long he had been in his mindscape, so he asked Kai. "Hey Kai, how long was I asleep?" Kai answered quickly while watching some drama flick on the TV.

"For about three hours, I've already communicated with your caretaker, even though there was another one beside Orion, but she's also acting like a caretaker... Well, whatever about those problems, there's a seat right next to me; we're going to bench-watch this comedy show together!!" Tristan felt like he had met a kindred spirit at this point, a childish one, but it still didn't change a thing as they both started watching the action flick.

(3rd POV: Anafabula[?????])

She was watching through one plane window, watching both Kai and Tristan watching TV.

{I swear those two are childish as hell...} She kept watching, but she didn't want to burst in on whatever they were doing for multiple reasons.

(A/n: Pot calls the kettle black....)

But the main reason was because of the pilot; fighting in this form of hers would be considered complete annihilation.

She had a few guesses of who it might be, but she couldn't even imagine why it gave itself a human form and was acting like a human.

Most deities from this world were supposed to be incomprehensible, and this one was the oddest one from the bunch.

Then, there was a ringing sound that got her attention; it was like an echo that vibrated around her surroundings while mid-air, and suddenly, she was transported to a random field that was teeming with nature.

The most indistinguishable thing about this environment was a massive tree with heart-shaped leaves provided ample shade, creating a tranquil and reflective atmosphere.

The play of sunlight filtering through the leaves adds a gentle and ethereal quality to the surroundings.

The landscape around the area is lush and green, with neatly trimmed gardens or natural vegetation contributing to the overall beauty—with the presence of flowers, like lotus blossoms.

In front of the enormous tree was the same man who was supposed to be driving the airplane back to Idaho, now meditating while staring at her with a serene smile.

*Well, hello there, Spirit; I've wanted to meet you for a bit ever since you caused a bit of trouble~* The voice coming from the man felt like it could be heard from all directions.

Still, the display didn't slightly perturb Ana, but she was at ease because she knew immediately then that this being wouldn't destroy her Avatar, and that would have to make her start all over again in making a new one from scratch.

{Well... I guess you found me, huh?} She couldn't think of anything else to say at all, then she said, confused.

{Wait... Why did you want to meet me?} The being who called himself Derrick chuckled as he told her.

*Well, simply put, you are an interesting anomaly that isn't a part of the Tellurian alongside that kid of yours.* He stated his answer as if it were a fact.

{Ok then, you're just doing all of this out of your curiosity; what can I call you? I'm not going to be calling you a name that has no meaning to you.} The being meditating in front of the tree shook his head as he spoke apathetically.

*Names have no meaning to me, but I was given many names over the years, and if you want to call me something, then Siddhartha is acceptable to me.* Ana nodded her head up and down slowly and said something else.

{Alright then, Siddhartha, could you transform into something else instead of looking like Sebbas from that Overlord show?} Siddhartha softly chuckled again at the request of the Spirit.

*You know, there aren't a lot of beings in this world that would have the courage to request something like that... But this form is a bit stale to use* Siddhartha began to transform back into an old man with white hair and a long beard. He looked weak, but he was anything but that.

*Well, here it is; I don't think it's anything special.* With his transformation done, Ana had tons of things to ask Siddhartha, but she knew that time was running out as he'd leave shortly then. Her first line of questioning began.

{Did you know about us beforehand? Did you know about Tristan?} Sidhartha kept the same smile throughout both of the questions he answered unhesitatingly.

*I knew about you somewhat, and that would mean a few others would be slightly curious about you, but I don't think they truly understand the potential threat you could hold in this world.

Luckily, you haven't tried showing it off either, and if you did, then there would be more problems for you anyway. And the rest about you seems to be closed off from me, and I blame the boy for that with both of your connection with each other.* Ana asked curiously.

{And what about Tristan?} Siddhartha answered that question.

*That's simple: he has something that's blocking out his existence. I wouldn't have known about him at all if I didn't try to relive life as a human for fun.* Ana looked at Siddhartha like he was insane and snapped back to normal when she realized who she was talking to.

{So, you did all of this... Out of curiosity?} Siddhartha scoffed at this comment.

*Says the narrative eraser. Who's following someone else for a change?* Ana started pointing her finger up while trying to say how her objective was utterly different, but even she was unsure of how long she lived alone as an entity she never asked to be.

{... I mean, the only thing that kept me from being an instinctual omnicidal maniac to a driven one was that connection you were talking about.

I did a lot of horrible things, and I don't feel an ounce of remorse either...

I don't think I'm much different from my original counterpart except for that drive to be with someone important to me.

And I erased a whole lot more because of it, too. I'm just afraid of Tristan's reaction to the things I've done back in my world.} Siddhartha gave an understanding nod and told her his words of advice.

*I may not be able to see past Tristan like any other in this world, Ana, but with the time I have talked to Tristan, I don't believe he'd react in the way you'd believe. It seems the both of you knew each other beforehand in some other past life, so you definitely know him more than anyone else, but that isn't my problem; you're on your own with that one* Ana gave a rare smile on her face and said to him.

{Thanks, Siddhartha, for your wisdom about my 'tragic' love life... But really, what's the deal with talking to me? And also, is there anything more to this conversation I don't know about?} With her confusion, Siddhartha, who hadn't changed his face from a smile, stated.

*Like I said last time, this is truly out of my curiosity and nothing else. Also, don't worry about me doing anything to you when you appear next to Tristan on the plane; just don't destroy it while I'm flying it~.* And in an instant, that entire setting of location turned back to her, watching through the window of the plane.

She was now thinking about it; she would've immediately teleported beside him, but because of how well Tristan was getting along with a new friend of his, she had some aversion to butting in. Yet, despite that aversion, she did it anyway.

{You can't start the party without me~ Tristy 🖤} And with that, it was time for her to see Tristan again and cause even more PTSD to a new friend of his.

(3rd POV: Tristan Devroop Akvash)

It was around season three of this comedy flick that Tristan became curious about why everything was so advanced around the 1970s compared to his last life. Even with that computer back in his original home, he didn't give it any thought except for his Anomalous abilities. So he asked Kai, who was glued to the TV.

"Hey Kai, why is all the technology so advanced?" Kai, who was still watching, said.

"You could blame that on the Technocracy and their timetable plan; they just started releasing a bunch of technology to the masses, and because I gave them something they liked, I was given something a bit more advanced like this plane and a bit of clout too." Tristan really thought that this world was weird but, at the same time, fascinating.

With Tristan's inquisitiveness satiated, he went back to watching the '70s show. Even though he wasn't expecting the show to be aired this far back, what was the use of overthinking it?

With his thoughts back to the TV watching halfway through season one, there was something that enveloped Tristan's shoulder. Obviously, it wasn't Kai, as he was on his right side. When Tristan was about to turn to see who it was, Ana was whispering in his ear.

{'Shhhhh, don't say anything or your friend will see me as last time I threatened to kill him, sweety~'} Her whispers felt comforting to Tristan, but he decided to play her little game while Kai was engrossed with the show.

She spoke again, this time in a melodic tone. {'So how far are you in this show~ my dear prince~'🖤} her actions became even more intimate as she started to coil around Tristan like a Burmese python; Tristan was now going through an inner turmoil, monologing in his head.

'Oh no!!! I gotta stay quiet, or else my besto friend- I mean business partner is going to get traumatized again!!!' Tristan attempted to whisper back so that Kai wouldn't hear him.

"'I'm halfway through season one with Kai.'" Ana, the ever-loving troll, seductively chuckled into Tristan's ear as gently as she could.

Tristan, whose only reason why he was staying as strong as he could was that he wasn't physically one of those horny freaking teenagers as of yet and because mentally, he's not going down the horny zone over those milfs yet.

"'Ummm- c-could you let me go please.'" The refusal was another 'kink' play that Ana was anticipating Tristan to do, and she pressed forward.

{Ahhh~ sweety, I knew you would say the right words to turn me on~ 🖤} Her words had him stumbling tremendously as he tried to gather his words together while blushing.

"'I-I need an adult!!'" He raised his voice just a little, but that made things even worse as Ana's face grew closer to Tristan's.

{Oh honey~ I am an adult.} Tristan's trapped with nowhere to go. He looked into her eyes, and those eyes were literal heart-shaped red eyes; this was honestly Tristan's first time seeing something like that at all.

But then there was a saving grace, and that saving grace was in the form of Kai, as he indirectly saved his innocence while Kai's traumatic experiences had to be re-experienced again—a fair trade to pay.

"Hey Tristan, are you alright.... Uhhhhhhhhahgh!"

When he looked toward Tristan, his face immediately turned pale, for what he saw was the very woman who would be living rent-free inside his head as a boogie man.

Flashbacks ran through his mind for the first time she met her as he froze at the sight of her; Kai was at his limit before passing out and gave one final remark.

"..... Oh, I'm gonna die, aren't I?" And he passed out on the couch.

Both Tristan and Ana looked at the passed-out Kai on the reclining chair. Tristan, who was worried for him, asked Ana. "Hey Ana, is Kai going to be alright?"

When Tristan asked Ana, she was staring at Kai apathetically and then turned to Tristan. {Yes, he will be Tristy... He just needs some sleep and to eat healthier foods...} Tristan sighed and decided to talk about something else.

"How close are we to Idaho Ana?" Ana squinted her eyes towards Tristan and told him.

{What am I? Your fucking mapping system?} Tristan only stared at Ana without saying a word to her. She soon held her head down and pathetically answered Tristan about how close they were to Idaho.

{*Sigh* we're only two hours away from our destination, and because this is a private plane, we are most likely going to either McCall Municipal Airport, Idaho Falls Regional Airport, or Pocatello Regional Airport....} Tristan was delighted to hear that they were two hours away back to seeing people for once.

"Honestly, Ana, I couldn't ask for anything else better than you, and I may sound like a broken record. You've always had this familiarity that can't be replaced; I may be slow with wanting to really look into my past life, and at some point, I will have to do so, but please don't leave me." It was now Ana's turn to blush as a tear ran down her eye.

{Tristan... That was never my plan in the first place. You're also not the only broken record, either, because I've said this before, and I'll repeat it so I can get it through your thick skull; I'll wait for as long as you need.} Her smile held a lonesome emotion behind it, but that quickly disappeared as she went on to a different topic.

{So, do you wanna find a game to play? Could we try playing poker?} She smiles eagerly, waiting for Tristan's response.

"Um... I've never played poker before." Ana giggled hearing that and said.

{Don't worry!!! I'll teach you really well~} She licked her lips when she finished speaking. Which unnerved Tristan, but he still took up her proposal.

"Sure, then I will give it a try, but before I do that, let me get Kai to a bed." When he was about to pick up Kai, he immediately disappeared, with the only culprit being Ana. He gave her a disapproving look, which flustered her as she spoke up.

{Don't look at me like that!!!!!! I've already disappointed too many, and you're just adding yourself to the pile!!!!!} Tristan's eyes softened a bit, and he gave up as he interrogated her.

"Did you at least put him in one of the bedrooms here? There is only one room with a bedroom, and if he isn't here, then the next option is him freefalling outside of the plane." Ana was offended by that and yelled out against such a statement while pointing at him.

{Of course, I did not let him freefall!!!! Even though that did sound like an excellent idea, but still!!! Accusing me of something like that is tyranny, Tristy!!!!} Tristan just stared at her in silence and said.

"You could've just said that you teleported him to the bedroom..." That simple rebuttal ruined her tirade, as all she could do was point at him in silence. All she could do was yell something that was in the back of her head.

{And HOW WOULD YOU KNOW THAT!!!!} Tristan didn't react at all to her outburst and spoke.

"Because I trust you." the arm that was pointing toward Tristan fell, and she stared at him with her eyes completely wide.

She felt extremely happy hearing that, with the way he said that without any hesitation, and she didn't even realize till now she needed to hear that from his mouth.

Tristan left to find the table and said. "I'll go and find us a table for us to play poker; you did say you were going to teach me." Ana's mind was still blank, but she followed Tristan to set the cards up.

~2 Hours Later~

As Ana and Tristan played poker for two hours straight, there was Derricks's voice through an intercom.

[Hello, gentlemen; we have finally landed in Idaho, McCall Municipal Airport. I hope you have had an enjoyable time and a safe journey. And I'll be waiting for you here, Kai, for the next annual meeting of Enigma Leaf Enterprises.]

Tristan stood up from the table and said to Ana, "I'm going to check on Kai. Are you still able to stay visible?" Ana leaned back and crossed her legs as she spoke.

{This is the longest time I have spent in the material world, but it looks like I'm about to turn invisible again, and I'll say this once more as this has become my greatest catchphrase, 'I'll always have my eyes on you Tristy~ 💛'}

With her acquired catchphrase, she disappeared as he watched it happen. Tristan now walked to the room to see if he was awake, but when he opened the door, it looked like he was snuggling in the white blanket.

It looked like he quickly recovered from the trauma; for now, Tristan wanted to wake him up.

"Hey Kai!!!! Wakey wakey!!!! Our flights over, Kai!!!" Tristan stepped his way to Kai, who was sleeping like a log and started shaking him by the shoulders. And that worked like a charm for Tristan.

"Huh? Wha- Oh god, how long was I asleep?!?!?" Tristan didn't want to waste any more time and said.

"It's been two hours, Kai, and we're finally at The McCall Municipal Airport; Derrick announced it while you were asleep." If Kai felt sleepy before, now he was full of energy that you could only see from fellow procrastinators.

"Oh fuck, Tristan, we gotta get out of here!!!!" Kai immediately grabbed Tristan and carried him like you would carry a log on the shoulders, and he busted through the Entryway to find his modified Volkswagon golf.

When he did that, a crowd of people was looking at the odd scene of an adult carrying a kid-like sack of potatoes

~3 hours of almost getting to accidents to Owyhee mountains~

Tristan and Kai had finally found the location of the Owyhee mountains, and when Kai got closer, he immediately parked the car and told Tristan. "Ok, Tristan, the rest of the journey is going to be on foot, and it will be only around eight minutes for us to get there."

Tristan only nodded his head and got out of the car, and the both of them began their short walk to the cabin. Kai gave Tristan one last of info about Tristan's guardian when they were at the door of the cabin.

"Honestly, Tristan, your guardian was a hunter, more specifically, an imbued were normal humans who have gained supernatural abilities from messengers. The guy will tell you more; I haven't seen him in a long time, but he may seem a bit gruff, but he's a big ol softy, in my opinion." After Kai said that, he knocked on the door.

There was a sound going on through the other side of the door; it sounded like an argument. Kai decided to see if the door was unlocked, and the knob of the door was turned, making this all the more suspicious for Kai and even for Tristan. What Kai saw was something entirely out of his expectations.

"Orion?!?!?!" Kai didn't want to believe it, but the evidence showed that he actually led a woman to his house instead of a motel. So he said something out loud that made the two of them stop arguing.

"Holy crap, you two!!!! When's the marriage, Orion?!?!?!?!" With those words, they soon came to a sudden stop from their yelling and slowly turned their heads to the unlucky fellow who had to say that. Orion was the first to act defensively.

"The hell do you mean marriage!!!!! Do I look like some demon fucker???" Orion replied instantly.

"Of course you do..." Said Kai, Orion was about to lunge at Kai, but before he did that, Caliel stopped him as she saw Tristan beside Kai, she stated to him without any care for Kai's remark.

"*Sigh* Calm down, Orion; there's no need to overreact at all, especially with a child just right next to who you were about to swing with." Again, silence pervaded the room. Tristan, who was watching all of this unfolding, thought to himself.

'My god, that woman did not let Kai's marriage thing slide... I would've thought that those two over there were a married couple, too.'

<..... Did she really need to edge the both of them on?>

'But, I swore I just heard that guy Orion say 'demon fucker', then that would mean that woman is a literal demon from hell..... My family's connections are all over the place. The next thing you know, my father would have created a small faction of ghosts.' Zil, who heard that last part, was now irritated but couldn't pinpoint the reason why.

<Tristan.... Are you trying to be funny?> Tristan didn't even bother to defend himself.

'I mean, look at them, Zil!?!?! I'm going to have to live with those two for who knows how long!!!! And they both already are freaking insane too!!!!' What Tristan saw was the chaos that Caliel sowed with a few simple words as both Kai and Orion double team, and she had all the more firepower to spit out from that mouth of hers.

<I mean, you're not much different than them when it comes to wackiness.> Tristan came to an acceptance at this point, seeing them all in an argument.

'So... This is my life now?' Zil immediately confirmed it.

<It sure is Tristan, and it's only going to become wackier at this point> Tristan blankly stared at the chaotic scene of both Orion and Kai angrily telling off Caliel while she was enjoying every moment of it. He couldn't help but bring himself to smirk a bit, either. Also, he thought if this weren't going to work out, then CPS would be a better alternative.
