A Voyage Of The Unlucky Anomalous Mage Across The Boundless Realities.

Once upon a time, a young man had so much to look forward to in the future; now, it had been ripped away in the blink of an eye in a matter of a day, including those who were close to him while he survived—although he thought he was going to survive. Now reborn as a baby again, Tristan Devroop Akvash is tossed into a seemingly ordinary world with fragmented memories of his past life that he refuses to piece together. I mean, why would he when this new life of his is fantastic!! Yet, everything seems to fall off again as awakens to what this world had always been from the beginning, where another tragedy will unfold where young Tristan can only watch and be transported off to a deserted field of snow. Through that brief period of tragedy, he was held at a crossroads of what he'd become. But an annoying voice in his head and an odd entity of unknown origins had somehow kept his mind "mostly" intact, and he would meet strange people as his caretakers who had prior dealings with his parents. He will explore his new abilities in this world and possibly discover parts of himself that he hasn't known about, even from his last life in this World Of Darkness. I want to say that this story starts out completely dark, not the first chapter but the second. It's also not fast-paced, as the focus will be on other characters, too. (Anyway, things won't go wrong for Tristan again until he is 10, so he will have time.) (I do not own the World of Darkness or any other potential worlds. The World of Darkness is a role-playing tabletop game that doesn't have to be completely accurate, and there will be OCs and tons of bullsh*t happening in it with all the entities within. Kind of similar to the SCP world but with 30 years of lore continuity.) (Also, this story might include World Travel too. I haven't decided yet, but if I were to choose, then his next world should be wholesome or the complete opposite of grim and dark to create a new challenge for him) (I do not own any of the Pictures, Cover: Scpishka.) Extra tag: Romance Main World: WOD Second World: ???? Third World: SCP Fourth: The Fuck Is This?!?!?!? (Warning: Read Auxiliary before reading the story, to be less confused)

Accidental Extinction... Its Not My Fault...

(A/n: Alternate Title below and a long chapter)

(POV: Tristan Devroop Akvash)

"... What do you mean I caused an environmental extinction of the wildlife here!?!!?!!?" Tristan was thoroughly losing it at this point as he was still lying on her lap, but what made it worse was the fact that Ana was completely supporting it.

{Ahhhh~ I can't believe that I got to see Tristy's first actual crime for myself~ And that crime was a local extinction of most of the wildlife~🖤 I could almost put that in the picture book 🖤} And as soon as she said that a gray book appeared in her hand and she began turning pages. Tristan, with all of his sanity, Was trying to find a justification for why it wasn't his fault.

"I-I mean, it shouldn't be my fault at all, right? Whatever that thing was, it was about to get out of those chains anyway, and without me, that insect would've caused an even worse catastrophe..." He said, trying his best to make excuses. But she only looked into the book for a bit before looking at Tristan, who was lying on her lap.

{Quite frankly, Tristy, look around you.} And that was what he did, and he saw everything around the vicinity that was once a snowy forest turned ashen; the trees that were once beautiful were slowly falling apart, and the snow was nowhere to be seen. All that could be seen was an immense amount of decay. All of this decay also brought a terrible, heavy smell of rotting carcasses.

"Oh... Hell no!!!! Why the fuck... *heavy coughing* Oh, sweet mother of Mary!!! This place smells like shit?!?!?!?!" At this time, Ana only blankly stared at Tristan, trying to comprehend his functioning brain.

{.... What? I mean, yes, this place does smell like burning garbage, but no... Just no... Do you even know what I was trying to tell you?} Tristan's answer he gave Ana made her go numb.

"I mean, it wasn't my fault that all of this happened... I mean, you can't say otherwise... They were the ones that were in the way... I mean, sure, they were casualties, but they were necessary to the betterment of my convoluted and unnecessary character development-" Ana had enough. She covered her face with her hands, completely tired, and interrupted him.

{SHUT!... UP!... Just please be quiet... No human died in your squabble with the reality-warping insect if that was what you were thinking... It was close to causing a decaying slaughter, but you were able to end it quickly, around 8 or 7 minutes...

But because of how many resources that thing you killed had corrupted near that human settlement as it flung you across twice, so they might as well starve to death unless the Technocracy does something to help...

Or if the freaking nine traditions try to make a move, especially the Verbena, those life mages... But knowing the nine Traditions, most of them won't do that because of apathy toward sleepers... But on a related note, if the Garou were to figure out that you... A damned TEN-year-old "human" killed a creature that had the ability that would make any being a rotting corpse with their presence alone; they would change their target to you, Tristan...} Tristan was exhilarated to hear a bit more about the world he was in, but he couldn't help but think she was just overreacting about the Garou. He spoke out his thoughts to Ana.

"Aren't you thinking too much about this? I mean, this skirmish might cause some problems down the line, but this skirmish probably caused a vacuum that could go in line with more benefits, maybe for us, or it could just be a way for us to stay hidden." Ana only sighed and said.

{And what benefits are there to the Garou potentially becoming our enemies?} Tristan smiled and said.

"Well, my lovely spirit, what would make you think they would even know about us if we got out of here before they could even find us? This entire decay is still strong within this vicinity, and if what you said about this insect's decay is as terrifying as you've said, then there should be no Garou approaching as of yet. And if we were to get out before there was anyone that could purify this place by then, we would be safe. We could potentially see how the Technocracy and the nine traditions work... Even though I couldn't care less for both of them... Now that I think about it, scratch seeing how they work, we'll have to leave now..." Ana only sighed again and said.

{Hmmm.... Maybe I have overreacted quite a bit... No, probably a lot... *sigh* let us just leave already... Seeing you fight and getting yourself almost killed has already made me on edge.} And with that, they had an unexpected guest that showed Tristan just how unhinged his familiar can be.

(POV: Caliel)

'So this was the forest that Julius fought at. I see he used the final trump card I've given him.' As Caliel was surveying the snowy landscape littered with corpses of Vampires and Revenants, he couldn't help but marvel at the destruction around the entirety of the forest. But sadly, Julius couldn't be seen except for a large gouge that ripped the ground in its entirety.

"*Sigh* I guess you did use the Trump card I've given you, Julius... Now, what's this?" surrounding all of the destruction were two scimitars wedged to the ground. Caliel walked to the two blades that gave off a light green glow. As Caliel tried to pull the blades off from their resting place, they wouldn't budge at all.

"Huh?... These are actually enchanted with way too much quintessence... God damn it, Julius... *SIGH!* I guess I'll have to sound like an idiot and sit around to break off the first part of the enchantment, and then I'll be able to carry them off..." And that was what Caliel did; Caliel looked like a buffoon while touching the scimitars while using the immense faith Caliel had gained beforehand.

~2 hours later~

"There, I got it!!!" Caliel had finally taken the two scimitars off the wedge, and they started glowing violently green as they started to vibrate.

"Calm yourselves, you ungrateful blades!!! You'll soon find your new master later!!" As quickly as they vibrated, they stopped immediately with those words.

".... Wow..... I thought you would give some sort of a struggle, but now you just have to confuse me.... Do you like being switched around?" When Caliel said that, the blades in Caliel's hands violently started to vibrate even worse than last time as they gave off a darker green glow.

"WOAH!! WOAH! WOAH!! HEY HEY HEY CALM DOWN!! I WAS JOKING!?!?!?!?" The blades were struggling to strike back, but because of the fallen's iron-tight grip, the blades struggle was pointless.

"Now let me focus on where Julius was trying to take Tristan, so try to keep yourself quiet, alright." The Scimitars, while struggling soon gave up, as they finally became depressed.

"thank whatever divine deity for the fact that it hasn't snowed yet around here... It seems like they were walking down North to either Idaho or Oregon... I know that Julius's friend is from Idaho, so that would mean that when Julius was done piggybacking little Tristan on their hike, he set the little kid down just about here." Caliel walked in the same footsteps of where both of them were.

"He kneeled to Tristan's height right here." And Caliel began to mirror step by step what happened at the time when Julius sent Tristan somewhere.

"Like any father, they would comfort their child with one last hug, and with one last flare, Julius must've poked little Tristan in the head, sending him closer to his destination... Or any other cold place... Like Antarctica." With that idea in mind, Caliel was kneeling one knee to the ground while raising their hand to the air with the held Scimitar. He had other ideas in his mind.

"You know what? Let's focus on one thing at a time, as there seemed to be an even bigger battle that happened further back... *Sigh* Dahlia... Why did this have to happen to you... I somewhat understand why Tristan, though... I guess I'll understand why when I get there. I'm already wasting time, but I don't think much of the other factions would care about the skirmishes that happened here anyway, as there have been bigger problems lately... Like why some type of plant gained sentience and spread through some parts of the world... *sigh.*" With that, Caliel decided to backtrack to Dahlia's last location for one last time for memory's sake before finding Julius's friend. And unlike Tristan, who walked, Caliel used his wind to travel faster.

~35 minutes~

'And this place is already filled with a bunch of quintessence and... Wow, the amount of glamour from here can only mean that you had a run-in with a True Fae... But never have I felt glamour that was so corrupted by The Wyrm itself. At least I have an idea why... A mother and daughter reunion... Well, I guess a reunion couldn't be any more dynamic than this. Dahlia did say that she always wanted to beat her mother to death... I think she needed therapy... But I guess she got what she wanted and then some more, as that mother of hers would've been a nuisance.' Caliel's thoughts rang through his mind as he looked at what was left of the snowy mountain far away from people was a crater that was as huge as the eyes could see. There was absolutely nothing else for Caliel to do here except to move fast towards North to Idaho.

'I think I've met the guy, too. I don't think he would fit as a parent, of all things, but ten years is a long time for a person to change... The choices of people you pick, Julius, is quite problematic...' And with that was a journey alone to Idaho with her reflections to keep Caliel company.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about these blades. Can you make yourself smaller without the both of you causing trouble?" The Scimitars in her hands begrudgingly gave off a green glow, and with that, they disappeared.

"..... That's freaking neat.... Julius, you are one lucky bastard sometimes... I don't know much about your magic in its entirety, but that was definitely nice."

~4 hours~

(Idaho, Owyhee Mountains)

With that he made it to the destination of Idaho. 'The last time I saw him, he was living in the Owyhee Mountains somewhere in a small cottage alone... What is with some of these people and mountains?!?!?' Annoyed at the fact he had to hike through horrible elevations like this, he finally found what he was looking for. It was a brown cottage that had small steps leading to a brown door with hard-to-see windows. Everything about this building was normal in every sense. As she was about to touch the door, there was a shotgun that was pressed up to Caliel's face.

"If you don't tell me why you are on my property within eight seconds, demon, then your face gonna be turned into mush pardner~," Caliel, who couldn't care less anymore, sighed as that seemed to be the only thing she was doing as of late she said.

"*sigh* Julius's son." those two words completely stopped the stranger's next action of pumping lead and silver into Caliel.

"You know Julius?!? Well, I'll be damned, come on in and tell me more, as I haven't seen the little runt myself as of lately." And with that, the stranger and Caliel went inside the cottage. The cottage seemed to be in good condition as when going through the front area, the wooden floor didn't creek, which was a sign that this place was new; it had a little hallway as you walk in with a living room to the right that had couches facing the TV which was off, the left side had a computer room with a bench desk and a laptop, and further down would look like a kitchen to the right, and at the front was a small table. It was an overall roomy place to live in with what can be seen.

"Now, let's go ahead and sit at that table near the Kitchen. By the way, the names Orion." they both proceeded to walk to the table, and they both sat opposite each other.

"If we are giving each other names, then you could call me Cal. Also, the kid you were waiting for might be far away from where he's supposed to be." Orion put a hand on his forehead, rubbing it while trying to get out of his drowsiness from lack of sleep.

"I mean, I was going to the border to see if Tristan was at the specific place that Julius texted me to pick the kid up around seven hours ago... Now you're telling me that his son went off to somewhere else..." The hand on Orion's forehead went down to his eyes, now rubbing them.

"It's worse. Julius teleported him somewhere else, and I believe that there should be a clue of where he would be on the news." Orion finally looked up at Caliel with disbelief and said.

"The only reason why I didn't shoot you then and there was because you looked just about done as I am as of now and because it seemed like you knew about Julius, too. More information would be helpful to me as he didn't bother to give me much in the first place...

And now you're saying that Julius teleported his own son away from where he's supposed to be? I mean, I don't really doubt what you've said was wrong either because that does sound like him, too. The problem, though, is that the direction that Tristan moved to would be on the news. I'm a bit skeptical about that." Caliel smiled and said to Orion.

"Let's bet on it then, Orion. I know you love to bet from the first time I've seen you." That phrasing confused Orion, and he said.

"Ummm? Have we met before, lady? I think I would remember you from somewhere if we actually hooked up... But I don't think I would diddle with a demon... You did a bang-up job of hiding that sulfur, too... You know what, I guess there's a first time for everything-!!!" Orion was slapped crossed the face.

"!?!??!? OWW!! Now, what was that for you bitch!!!!" he was still covering his face with his hand as it was stinging.

"First off, Orion, the first time we met, you were trying to hunt me down, and it took Julius to stop us from fighting; secondly, what the fuck is wrong with you!! Are you literally a child with ADHD?" Orion immediately answered the last bit.

"Sometimes... and also yeah, I guess I do somewhat remember you, and why do you look like a girl?" Caliel looked at the ceiling, wondering why most of the people she would usually meet were some of the strangest.

"Alright... I am going to ignore that as we were going to bet; let's turn on the news to see which snowy area Tristan is in." Orion quickly replied.

"But, how would you even know? He probably wouldn't be front page of the news. I mean, to me, it kind of sounds like you're just grabbing straws at this point." That statement didn't perturb Caliel as she replied.

"Honestly, I'm not expecting to see Tristan's face on the news; I'm actually looking for the earliest of disasters that would pop up on the news just because of a child who was born from the two of the most destructive and mostly toxic humans I've seen... I'll ignore Samuel Haight... He's worse... But I bet there would be a catastrophic incident in the area where Tristans at on the news." Orion, who couldn't take that half-assed logic, said.

"I'm sorry, but that sounds completely dumb to me, but I'll do it anyways because for once in my life, I get to actually win a bet, except when it comes to paying my taxes on time this time around and killing other supernatural creatures, I actually got into an organization that would pay big money in hunting, but because of Julius there is actually no need, as he sent a boat load of money into my bank account... I mean, why would you expect a child to be like their parents immediately? That sounds completely wrong to me." Caliel only shook her head and said.

"You'll see." And with that, they both went to the living room to turn on the TV and with that, they saw a disaster that struck.

[Breaking news: Alaska was struck by a radiation field spreading near the outskirts of Yukon, Senatti camps. There has been no reason behind the incident as of yet, and containing it has been difficult.]

Orion was shellshocked, but to him, this incident shouldn't even have any connection at all with Julius's kid. "This doesn't mean anything at all, Cal... I mean, a random radiation field that came out of nowhere is beyond fishy, but Julius's kid should have no connect-." Immediately, a ringing sound came from Orion's phone, and without knowing why he felt dread from hearing it, he picked up the phone from his pocket, and it was an old friend of his.

[Hello, is that you Orion?] Orion answered back.

"It sure is. It's been a while; I wasn't expecting to get a call from you, Kai... but why now?" The mage from the phone chuckled and said to Orion.

[It's quite a long story, but I traveled to Alaska for an appointment as one of the members of the Dream Speakers to see any possibility of a violent spirit because of the immense amount of corruption that suddenly spread like wildfire throughout parts of Alaska. I'm already at the site of corruption, and the most unexpected thing I've seen was a kid right near all of that corruption... At this point, I would be going on a rant about how much of a prophet Julius is, but the child he wanted you to take care of, he's with me right now.] Orion's face became pale, while Caliel's face remained as smug as before.

"What... Wait, why in the hell were you in Alaska in the first place? And what does Julius, being a prophet, have to do with anything?" It can be seen that Orion isn't having a good time at all, and Kai cements that feeling of his.

[Well, it happened three years ago when I had just become his drinking buddy during his short trip to Brazil, Goiania. I forgot which place we were drinking, but I did remember my alcohol as we were both drinking Cachaça... And it all began when we were both half-drunk, sitting on one of those bars.]

(FlashBack!!!!)

(Brazil, Goiania; Night time Drinking)

"Oh, meu Deus, essa bebida está dando um tapa no meu amigo!!!" Julius spoke in Portuguese, enjoying his drink while he had just finished his business deal. Kai, who was also appreciating the drink, said.

(A/n: Julius: "Oh lord, this drink be slapping my pal!??!")

"*Hicup* Julius, what did you... Dude, we're not even in a heavily speaking Portuguese area." Julius decided to keep on talking in Portuguese

"Que se dane o inglês!!! Vou fazer minhas próprias coisas!!!" Kai could only look at Julius, who wasn't better off than him when they both were drunk.

(A/n: "To hell with English!!! Imma go do my own thing!!!")

".... You know, it wouldn't be a good thing if I were to find a way to communicate to your wife about all of those Garou women trying to seduce you today." Julius finally got out of his stupor as he almost fell out of his chair.

"HEY!! WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!!! NOW YOU AND I KNOW THAT ISN'T MY FAULT AT ALL!!!!" Julius tried his best to defend himself as his wife was a living nightmare.

"I know Julius, I don't know how, but you are certainly a magnet for werewolves, and unexpectedly for the Ananasi too..." Julius shook his head, finally gaining a bit of an awareness of his surroundings, and told Kai.

(A/n: Ananasi are basically spiderwomen created by The Weaver. They have their own disclosed society as they are usually loners. The werewolves came from Gaia. They both have lore for days.)

"Kai, please stop talking about my nonexistent relationship with what Dahlia could refer to as a bunch of furries and get to the point." Kai drank the last bit of his Cachaça, gave his casual stoner smile, and said to Julius.

"Well, it's about that Cannabis you've been selling; I've been hearing that you had a new strain that's been quite popular, a one-of-a-kind all of the Cult of Ecstasy was talking about, one puff that could send any mage to the shadow realms and back. I have a proposition for you. I have an extensive network and reach within the cannabis industry and can provide, as you've called it, Crimson Dank with the global exposure it truly deserves. Together, we can introduce your creation to new markets and communities, creating a lasting impact instead of just." Julius stared into Kai's eyes for a bit, and from Julius's face, it looked like he was still drunk, and then he immediately started laughing his ass off, almost falling over again.

"BWHAHAHAHAHHAH!!!!!! Oh, God!!! Are you actually joking?!?!?!?" Kai, whose expression hadn't changed, said.

"Nope, I'm completely serious here, so will that be a yes or no? I had my papers with me here on hand." Kai brought out the papers and placed them on the table. Julius became serious as he looked at the papers on the table and gave them a read. When he finished reading, he gave a long sigh as he told Kai.

"Haaaaah~ Maybe if it were seven years ago, I would have immediately agreed to this, but now I don't think it's worth it at all, but what I can do is give you a batch of the strain for you to sell without the contract, I'm not really worried about money as I have a stockpile of it that had been garnered through the years of my tax evasion without the IRS's greedy hands grabbing on to it, and I was just able to change it all into clean money yesterday night." Kai wasn't expecting Julius just to give him the strain batch for free, and he couldn't help but question Julius.

"Now, why would you do that? Just giving me the strain batch of the Crimson Dank without any strings attached. Honestly, if it's not money you want, then is there anything else you would want? Now I feel bad for just getting it for free without even putting the brand in your name when making it global." Julius only gave a small smile while saying to Kai.

"Hmm, well, this might not make any sense to you now, but within three years, if you were ever to go to Alaska, you might meet a kid alone in the woods. I would like you to take him to a guy named Orion who lives on just the edge of Idaho, probably in his house near the mountains of Owyhee. Honestly, his house shouldn't be too hard to find at all, either." Kai's eyes widened when he heard the name Orion.

"You mean Orion Olsen? He and I used to go way back when I used to help him with the lesser undead in Mississippi." Julius's smile grew a bit more as he pointed toward Kai and said.

"~Bingo~ Now that makes things easier for me if you know him personally, and also, if you were to go there and help the kid, he might give you something worth your while in the long run." Kai was in deep thought when Julius said this.

"This kid you're on about, is he something to you? I don't want to make any guesses but your making it hard for me." The words he said told Kai everything.

"Oh, that kid is only my pride and joy, that's all~" The cheerful face from Julius made Kai cringe a bit.

"So... He's your son, and why would your son be in Alaska, if I might ask?" Kai''s eye was twitching sporadically, but Julius ignored it.

"Well, yes, spoilers, he is my son! And why he would be in Alaska... We're just speaking hypothetically here, Kai, and let's just say if it all were to happen for some reason and you were to go to Alaska, he could absolutely help you with your business, and I said could, not that he would..." Kai put some thought into it as some things were being put together within his mind. Kai spoke up after thinking.

"Now, this is going to sound like I'm reaching for any conclusion, but does your son have anything to do with the new strain? Because when you said he could help, that's the only thing I could think of. If that's true, then why the fuck would you tell me? That's extremely valuable?" Julius then opted into a more serious attitude.

"We both know that you wouldn't tell a single soul about it, Kai. Something like this is beyond just being valuable because if this were to be found out by just about every freaking Organization on this planet, especially with the Technocracy, then it would just be a chaotic war to get to my boy. Also, you understand that sometimes, not every worth should be sold if it could affect everything in the market negatively." Kai was taken aback by Julius's change in personality and paused for a bit to reflect.

"I guess I do understand... If what you are saying is true, then he could flood the entire economy, and that's a huge no for me as being stable with money flowing to me is an absolute yes, but when will I get that strain of Crimson Dank?" Julius grinned widely as he pulled something out of his space ring. And what was on the table was a huge container for the seeds.

"Here are the seeds of the Crimson Dank!!!" He immediately gave it to Kai, and Kai still couldn't help but feel bad.

"Seriously though, Julius, if you need anything from me, then give me a call, alright? And tell your wife I said hello, too." Julius gave a small laugh and said to to Kai.

"Heh~ Thanks, Kai, but all you need to remember is what I've said, and be careful out there too! And also, the new strain will grow quite fast. Take that as a warning!!" That was the end of the conversation as Kai left with the new strain, and that Cannabis would backfire on him as they will change for the worst.

~Present~

Orion: ...

Caliel: ...

After Kai finished his flashback, he sighed with shame as he said.

"I really, and I mean really, regret taking that new strain. But at least they aren't my problem anymore, as I gave it to the Technocracy. From what they know about what this Cannabis became from the info leaks from the virtual adepts, they closed off an entire area with their dimensional 'technology' to stop the spread of plant growth. They couldn't really find any reason behind the growth either, as studying it was weirder than magic in some cases, as this plant didn't come from magic." Orion couldn't really handle it anymore. At this point, he believed that gambling was bad juju for him at this point, and Caliel was frozen with utter numbness; 'Julius's bloodline is weird.' were her thoughts on the matter. Orion was the first to say something.

"Yeah, this is something that should be swept under a rug..." Kai also quickly replied.

"Agreed..." Caliel, who felt like she wanted to gouge her eyes out but did not want to hurt her vessel, went along with them.

"I'd rather just erase this entire knowledge from my brain and burn it away..." Kai responded to Orion.

[Orion, who the bloody hell is next to you?!?!] Orion, who was deep in thought, said.

"She's a friend, Kai, and I don't think I'll need to explain at all whose friend she is with... *Cough* Julius." there was complete silence on the other side of the phone, and thirty seconds later, Kai finally said something.

[I'm hanging up. I'll see you when I get there... Shortly] *Beep*" And there was complete silence between Orion and Caliel. They both just didn't want to talk anymore.

~Alaska, Near Lagunas~

(POV: Tristan Devroop Akvash)

Both Tristan and Ana were about to keep moving forward until a voice interrupted their vibe.

"Well... Now, this is unexpected to see a literal ten-year-old with worn-out shoes and torn clothing. Can you tell me your name, child?" Tristan stopped from his tracts. He wasn't expecting to see a living person right now, and he didn't know what to say except for his name.

"Tristan... It's Tristan..." The man gave a smile as he got a step closer to him.

"You seem lost, Tristan. Can I help you get back then?" Honestly, this felt like a good deal for Tristan, but he didn't trust him at all; his face looked punchable to him even. But before he could say anything, there was a violent blackish-purple aura surfaced around Tristan. That aura began to form a forest of thorns around him as if to protect Tristan from the person approaching him. The area changed into something completely alien. A demonic voice full of malice rang throughout the forest towards the person approaching.
