Chapter 1

Kevin was in utter shock when he looked at himself in the mirror in front of him. He couldn't believe that he wasn't in his original body, but the thoughts that haunted his mind was the one of question and confusion. 

'Who's body am I dwelling in? I don't recognize this face at all. But I can't remember dying at any point last night... oh,or it could be likely that I somehow died in my sleep last night. Or it could be a dream of the sort....'

He tried pinching his cheeks to see if he was truly stuck in a dream. But when he felt pain in his cheeks, he noticed that it wasn't a dream. 

'Wait, is this a lucid dream I'm experiencing right now? And shouldn't I be in my original body through....'

Kevin was so confused at the recent events happening in front of him. 

"Ah, it can't be helped then. I'll just stay put and wait until the strange events are finished." He said as he sat down on the bed, deep in his thoughts. 

'Who exactly did I reincarnated into? I have to find out immediately...'

The woman who was sleeping on the bed slowly opened her eyes and sat up on the bed. Her chest was showing. She had a concerned look on her face. 

"Are you doing okay, Lord Ced? Oh, good morning!" She yawned as she greeted him, and asked. 

"Um, who are you? And what am I doing in such a fancy looking room?"

"What? Are you feeling well, Ced?"

The woman had a worried but shocked expression that was showing on her face. She didn't know if he was playing a prank on her or anything, all that she knew is that Cedric was behaving strangely. 

"Yes. But why do you prefer to call me 'Cedric ' and not 'Kevin '?" Kevin asked in disbelief. "Is there a game of sorts going on?"

"N,no."

The woman was extremely frightened by the way how he was behaving, it was as if he was a different person who had taken over Cedric's body. Seeing that she was in fear, he decided not to proceed to ask her about it further more .

'This is truly disturbing to witness. Well, I guess this person who I've somehow possess is a jerk...'

(Knock)

(Knock)

(Knock)

A Knock was heard from the other side of the door. It was a woman who was wearing a maid's outfit and a sophisticated looking man, who is probably the butler stood at the door. 

"Can we enter, Lord Cedric?"

"Good morning, Lord Cedric. I had prepared your breakfast!"

Both of them stated why they were at the room of Cedric. Although they had fear, they didn't let it interfere with their job. That's because they have their families to feed. Kevin was in utter shock when he heard that his name was Cedric. 

He didn't know either if he should feel horrible or not. It kinda was in his face that he couldn't think straight. 

"Yeah, you may enter. Please come in." He answered the butler and the maid.

But to them, his voice sounds threatening to them, although he was trying his best to be nice. They carefully entered into the room, trying to be cautious about what they do or say. When they entered into the room, they bowed to Kevin. 

'Oh wait... did they just refer to me as "Cedric", Or is it some sort of coincidence? As in saying the main antagonist of the book I was reading before I fell asleep? This can't be real...'

Kevin was trying to comprehend the situation unfolding in front of him. He couldn't really figure out what he's doing in the body of the villain of his favorite web novel. Now he'd realized that he has been isekai'd into the body of his favorite character. 

The woman who was laying down on the bed was staring at Kevin(Cedric) in fear, but the servants were in more fear of how he would react that day. 

Well, you see Cedric was kind of a huge jerk, especially in the mornings. He's from a powerful noble house that had just been founded a couple generations ago. Although his family is new in the nobility of the kingdom their in, they still rules a territory. 

That was really lucky for them, The noble house of Miller. 

He is the third child in the family, and the first son so that means he will be inheriting the family's fortune when his father decides to retire or if his father dies. He has two older siblings, both girls. So that means he was a spoiled kid. 

In the story of the novel, he is the main antagonist of the story, but he was at first working in the shadows, controlling the other minor villain. The events that took place in the story lead up to the revelation that Cedric was the true villain all along. 

It was kind of a shocked for everyone who read the latest chapters of the novel. No one had expected that he would be the villain. But the story isn't finished as yet, but I wish if I could continue reading the chapters after the last on I read.

'So, this means that I was thrust into the body of Cedric Miller to find a way to save him, or to stop some of the events of the story from taking place. I have to find a way to stop at least most of the bad events from happening. '

Kevin was thinking about what to do that he all most forget about the servants and the woman who was laying down on his bed. 

".... Your father has summoned you to have a world with you in his private office." The butler said to him, trying to keep a professional look. 

"Yeah, tell him I'll be there right after I'm finished eating my breakfast. And you, what do you want?" He responded to the butler, before turning his attention to the maid.

She instantly froze up and started to fidgeting. 

"Um... well, I am here to assist you with getting yourself ready for the day ahead. That's all, I swear!" 

Although Kevin understood why the servants were behaving in such a way, he still felt embarrassed by the way how they were acting. 'At least you guys should be more professional... maids and servants should be professionals.'

"Sorry, but I can bathe myself thank you very much. " He answered the maid.

The butler excused himself along with the woman, leaving Kevin with the maid.

After he was finished dressing up, he ate breakfast alone, because the rest of his family went out, appart from his oldest sister who was busy with some important work., and his father who was taking care of the affairs of the family house and territory. 

'Yeah, this is the life of an ordinary noble. I thought that being the only son would give me some benefits in the family, but I don't think so... hopefully everything works out in the end...'
