"Well I'll be damned", Luca cursed.
"Language!", Seth reprimanded.
"What?! I didn't even swea-"
"LANGUAGE BOY!"
"Yes grandfather..."
"Now as I was saying", Seth continued, "The duel is in 1 day, or around 13 hours from now." He checked his watch.
"Grandfather! I can't fight Axel!" Luca nearly shouted.
"Yes you can and you will. Bring back my- our family's honour as the most influential family in the World".
"Grandfather listen to me, my power is mind manipulation right? I heard Axel has the power to wield any weapons. We're different classes! He's like a swordsman and I'm a mage! I can't 1v1 him"
"Too bad. The duel is set and I'm sure our family weapon storage room will come in handy. Take anything from there".
"Well that's a whole different story. Thank you grandfather!l" Luca said while running off.
"Remember to return whatever you borrowed!" Seth shouted at the retreating Luca.

Gold. Lots and lots of gold was Luca's first thought upon entering the "storage room", unlike what he thought the room was spacious, each weapon was neatly laid out on display. The more valuable ones were stored in multiple arrays so naturally Luca gravitated towards there.
Even more gold plated the area. The arrays glowed lightly surrounding the precious weapons. There Luca saw it. The love of his life, [The Grim] and at the perfect time his second ability <Reader's Persona> activated.
<The Grim>
<A small pitch black dagger (grade 5).>
<Crafter by the famous blacksmith Yuno, this dagger is able to grow with it's owner>
< Warning! The dagger chooses it's owner! With your current state you are unable to wield it >
Just as described in the novel, this dagger is pitch black, with golden vein like runes running across it. The warning was unexpected but the fact that the dagger chooses it's owner is perfect. Once Luca makes the dagger submit to him he'll be able to convince Grandfather to hand the ownership of the legendary grade weapon to him. On the plus side the Axel won't be able to use the dagger as the dagger won't allow it.
Luca glanced at the manger of the storage.
"May I see that dagger?" Luca asked politely.
"Y-young master, the dagger is far too valuable and you won't be able to handle it's power", the manager replied nervously.
"May I see that dagger?" Luca asked politely.
".... Here you go", the manager deactivated the arrays and handed Luca the black dagger.
Luca moved the piece of precious metal in his hands. Light did not reflect from the black blade and the runes seemed to hum at the attention Luca was paying to it. Luca nodded at Aden who placed a bucket in front of him.
*splatter*
Blood flowed freely from the large wound on Luca's arm, pouring into the bucket and staining the dagger. Luca watched the dagger humming in pleasure as it began to absorb the blood placed on it. It then paused for a bit.
*Splash*
Luca's blood began pouring out of the blade.
'So I've been rejected' Luca thought. 'Of course, I'm still weak after all... however-'. An evil grin stretched across Luca's face causing the manager to flinch. Luca took one last glance at the dagger and dropped it into the bucket.
"Hohoho I'm not gonna waste my blood for nothing!" He pushed the blade further into the bucket.
"Drink up my new weapon!". The blade protested, it kept floating back up but Luca kept pushing it down again.
"Kekeke you will bathe in this young master's royal blood and serve under me for eternity."
The manager turned to Aden in horror while Aden shook his head in resignation.
It’s been a while... It will continue that way! Until I have more motivation- I will be back!
(Does that even make sense??)
