"My Father should be inside, please, don't take to heart anything he says, let me do the talking" she had said she wanted to confront her father together with him, but she didn't want him to get into an argument with her father.

"Dad, did you drink too much again?" She glanced in Wang Ma's direction only to find her still pale and looking towards nowhere in particular, as if she had been traumatised.

"My daughter what are you talking about!? I'm happy for you, I saw the conference and your growth makes me proud. Who is the guest you brought today by the way?" Lin Kun's smile never left his face as he addressed Alucard.

"Huh, dad this is Chairman Vlad Tepes, we were on a date just now, please don't make trouble for him." Lin Ruoxi's head was a mess.

Alucard was able to hear her cry from the kitchen and chuckled.

Wang Yulan nodded and continued serving the tea.

'How does he know!?' were her only thoughts, it was still a theory, he might be just talking nonsense.

Wang Yulan was still too shocked by the events taking place today.

"I'm leaving now Yulan, Mr Tepes. I'll be coming next week Ruoxi, I'll do as you said." Lin Kun announced his departure before making his way to the exit with a smile.

"Take care, Dad" Lin Ruoxi waved his way with a smile as he left.

The moment Lin Kun disappeared Lin Ruoxi technically leapt on Wang Ma's embrace and laughed crazily!

"Hahahah!! Wang Ma, Wang Ma!"

"Young Miss, what happened!?" Yulan smiled wearily and asked.

"He apologised! Apologised for everything he's done, he said he would try to be a better person and support me! Also, be nullified the engagement be brought up between me and Xu Zhihong!"

He laughed lightly, "Where is her room? I'll leave her there and go."

Yulan nodded and lead him to her room where he rested Ruoxi on her bed, her smile as wide as a newborn kid.

This would be the best sleep she had in her life.

After leaving her there Alucard made his way down followed by a complicated Yulan.

"It was nice to meet you, Young Master, please be safe on the road." She bowed and said with a smile, despite whatever might have happened between them, Lin Ruoxi's happiness was her priority and this man surely made her happy today. She had not seen her go to bed with a smile like that ever since the Madam passed away.

Alucard nodded but passed her the keys to the car, "It's hers now."

"Huh? How are you going to go back, Young Master? You can stay in our spare room if you want."

"You don't need to worry Yulan, I have my ways~" he crouched down and whispered in her ear before giving her cheek a kiss.

Wang Yulan held her cheek with agape, but the moment she blinked he wasn't there anymore…
