I perused the page not quite believing that it was over. That was it? That was the end? I screamed in frustration and threw it across the room. Instead of hitting the wall, Kai caught it and chuckled.
I glared at him because I knew that he had to know that that was in Alexander's diary. What did he do? What did the letter tell him to do? Most importantly, I wanted to know what became of Alexander's baby girl.
The diary was so sad. Who was that woman who was so vile and evil? I had a feeling that Mary had been killed by that woman and not died because of over bleeding. That was absurd.
"Read Alexander's diary, " I mimicked him while giving him a dirty look. "I have read it and all I have are more questions. " I added.
I hated having hope only for it to be crushed.
"Ask me all the questions you have and I will answer everything, " he said while sitting on my bed.
