30. Zeus and Kai

" Hello sweetheart, " a voice said and I rolled my eyes.

I already knew who it was without looking. His presence covered the room and his voice was so familiar. 

I ignored him. It had been almost a week sonce I last saw him. I didn't like how he disappeared and popped in whenever he wanted. Did I not have a say on when I got to see him?

His chuckle pulled me out of my thoughts. 

" You seem angry, " he said as he walked towards me and gave me a burgundy rose. 

When I didn't take it, he cut off half the stem and put it behind my ear. After that, he sat next to me on the bed and started stroking my hair.

" Why are you angry at me? Have I done something to upset you? " He asked softly.

I looked at him but his features revealed nothing. His voice was soft but his face was hard and cold. He was a lot like Kai yet somehow different.

" I haven't seen you in almost a week, " I said and I started feeling stupid due to how ridiculous it sounded. 

He put his fingers under my chin and turned my head to look at him. 

" I have been busy, " he said vaguely.

He always came into my room, kissed me and then left. We always made out but never went past that. He never let it go past that. Whenever I tried to instigate that we go further, he pulled away and left. He always said I was not ready.

When would I ever be ready?

" You missed me, didn't you? " He asked and I blushed in embarrassment. I looked away to hide that from him. 

He was so easy to be around. That was the difference between him and Kai. With Kai, I was always so tense but with him, I was at ease and I had no care in the world.

" I missed you too but you have to understand that I was busy. I can't always be here. " He said.

" What do you do for a living? " I asked.

He shook his head as if to tell me not to ask and he resumed stroking my hair. He was secretive about everything and it was infuriating beyond measure. 

" Take me out of here, Zeus, please, " I begged. 

" I can't do that. "

" Why not? " 

" Because I can't. "

I searched his face but it still revealed nothing. He let no emotions slip out. I stood up and crossed my arms against my chest. It was similar to throwing a tantrum and it was very childish but I did not care. 

I just wanted out of that prison. Was that so hard to ask? Didn't he like me romantically?

" You have to understand that my hands are tied. This is Kai's turf and I can't take you out of it. " He explained but it sounded as stupid as the reason he wouldn't fuck me. 

I allowed him to turn me and hug me to his chest. When he pulled away, I lifted my toes and kissed him passionately. 

He kissed me back with equal passion. Our mouths moved in sync and I moved closer to mush our bodies together. He put his hands on my hips and groaned into my mouth.

Our tongues danced and it sent ripples of pleasure throughout my body. It was a feeling I could never get over. My body felt like it was on fire and I just wanted to be united with him in one passionate act of sex.

I could feel the liquid heat pool to my center and I just wanted him to ease the ache between my legs. 

I started to remove his jacket but he pulled away. I whimpered at the loss of contact. 

" Lilith…"

" Don't call me that! Am I that repulsive that you don't want to go all the way? " I asked louder than I had intended.

I really liked him and I wanted to seal the two of us. He was acting like he didn't want me and he was leading me on. Maybe he also wanted something from me. I mean that was all I was good for anyway.

" Stop that. I can feel the wheels turning in your head. I want to protect you and right now, you are not ready for this. " He said.

I scoffed and turned away from him. I was tired of hearing that over and over again. It was a shitty excuse. If he didn't want me he did not have to lead me on.

" Leave! " I screamed but he seemed unaffected by my tone. 

" I am not leaving you angry. " 

" Fine. I'll leave. " I said and started walking towards the door.

" Where are you going? You are not allowed in the garden. " 

" The garden is not the only place I can go, Zeus. If you don't give me what I want, somebody else will. " 

He looked confused but when I flashed a smirk at him, he caught on to what I was saying. I closed the door behind me and headed to Kai's room. 

The walk there was shorter than I wanted it to be because I had no courage for whatever I was threatening to do. 

I didn't bother knocking. I opened the door and entered. Kai looked at me confused by what I was doing in his room.

He was shirtless and I stepped up to him. Before he could ask his questions, I kissed him with all my strength. His words were muffled by the kiss.

He was shocked at first but he kissed me back. He put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer. I felt his bare chest against my clothed one and I couldn't help but imagine us naked in his bed.

He must have felt how hard my nipples were through my dress since I no bra on.

I felt eyes on me as I kissed Kai. I knew Zeus was watching and it was the thing that made it all the more fun. I smirked into Kai's mouth and I rubbed my hands on his bare back.

His teeth grazed my bottom lip eliciting a moan from me. That drove Kai wild.

All I was doing was making bad decisions but damn did they feel right.
