Chapter Five: The Map

Mira's leave-taking arouses his desire to chase her, and asks her for more questions of the few more things happening so magically unbelievable. A quarter of an hour later, he visits Mrs. Clearwater's room. Her unusual vigorous strength whilst sitting in the wheelchair differs from the past days. The way she modestly seats and her vibrant greetings are remarkable that you would think she's fully recovers from a long illness.

"Oh Enrico, come in." she smiles.

"Yes, ─ma'am." He nodded as he entering.

"Please close the door. I have an important task for you right now." she requests.

"Sure madam" he silences whilst grabbing his seat.

"Very well" Thereafter, she pulls up some parchment from her bed and handing it over to him in silence. "Son" Mrs. Elizabeth called unto him. "Yes, ma─" Enrico's reply cut off.

"Very well son" she smiles as she handing a blank parchment.

"Excuse me, madam but what's this sort of parchment you've handed me?" he baffles whilst gazing the blank parchment.

"A map─ it's magical, so better not ask why there's nothing in there?" she warns as knitting her left eyebrow upward.

"A map, how?" Enrico puzzled and his sight shifting from the map to her, back and forth.

"That map will only work, once you entered the chamber. Now listen closely, once you entered the secret passage you will utter these words clearly, "Aperto", then once you entered inside you'll say this "Selio moverie", then make sure no one notice you entering that chamber or else our plan will be in vain, understood?" Mrs. Clearwater instructed him.

"Yes, but hang on a minute. I mean, can I ask if I'm going to do it alone or do I have any companions?" he confirms.

"Please don't be so worried. The perfect time will tell when it will be fulfilled, just trust my words and don't hesitate─ my words are absolute," she assures him.

A split of a second past, the door pounds and disturbs their serious conversation. Thus, he sneaks to unlock the door once more. Elizabeth's apparition enlightens his perplexing day. "Oh, Enrico, there you are... I was like─ oh sorry. What did I miss?" she smiles as she heading towards her granny.

"Ah─ I instructed him to sketch his residence to that parchment he's holding. Because just in case if he’ll go somewhere like in his hometown, we could estimate the time for his commute." Mrs. Clearwater replied calmly tricky.

"Oh, I see. Well, you must obey my granny or else─ no dinner later." She raises her right eyebrow and disfiguring her face. In the very first time, Enrico witnessed Elizabeth's hidden side. Perhaps something wasn't good for her day too and that made her unexpectedly blunt.

"Hang on a minute before doing so, could you please drive us to the train station? Let's accompany Mira for her departure?" she requests with still irritating mood.

"Certainly... ma'am" he nodded.

"Very well, gran─ we shall go now. We'll be back soon." she kisses her forehead and acting to leave the room. "Yes, sweetheart... you may. Be careful and please take care of yourselves." Mrs. Clearwater waves from a distance responding a wave from Elizabeth.

Thereafter, Mrs. Clearwater signalled him to go. She winked at him with a genuine smile and satisfaction on her face. Two hours past, the preparation for their departure commences. He places Mira's luggage at the car compartment and set up everything for today's destination. Anyway, Sir Clearwater's vintage car is a 1960's car model's design, like a Limousine. It has a shining black colour like Harlequin beetle when reflected by the sunlight. Its still well-maintained and the engine still in pleasant condition, with a maximum capacity of five passengers to accommodate and a small luggage compartment at the back.

At the very moment before the departure, it’s a quarter minute before eleven in the afternoon. Everyone gathers and wishing them a safe trip. Upon unlocking the back entry of the car, Enrico once again entangles under the spell of the alluring beauties of the two. It paired by her pink long sleeveless dress, a pink ribbon on her waist and a pair of pinkish doll shoes matched with a pinkish-red starfish amulet and silver earrings.

For a moment, he imprisons in his daydream under the spell of their hypnotism to him. His wild imagination flashing as he’s walking towards the seashore along with these two lovely angels in his both sides. Each of them, scanning, sauntering the white shore, seeing the calm sea along with few yachts embarking leisurely upon the wide vast sea.

"Aren't you going to the party? Are you?" Mrs. Clearwater chuckles.

"Come on granny, please─ ah, you're embarrassing me?" she smirks.

"Hey. Enrico, my son! Hey! Do you hear me? Enrico! ” Mrs. Clearwater exclaims, calling Enrico's attention.

"Yes... ma'am. I'm sorry... I didn't notice... I'm so sorry." he stutters as he scratching his head and stating his reason.

Momentarily, the entire terrace fills with euphoria and blissful aura that permeating the entire atmosphere of Clearwater's mansion. The sizzling laughter echoing inclusively until the garden and nearby houses may be. So as the car engine chiming up, Mrs. Clearwater alerts one of her maids to send her letter to Mira before they departs. Rita runs into the car, knocking on the car window, raising her left hand as she holding a letter for Mira. Mira swivels the gyratory handle to open the backseat right window of the car and grabs the letter.

"Ms. Hutchins, you forgot this letter. Madam would like you to give this to your aunt." Rita notifies.

"Oh, thank you!" she smiles.

"Anytime Ms. Hutchins" Rita smiles back.

"Can we go now?" Elizabeth bides.

"Anything else left?" Enrico asks.

"I think, we're all set," Mira replies.

"Let's go, shall we?" Elizabeth demands.
