Iron Lady

"Where did you get this inferior baby stuff from? Where are the baby items I got for my grandchildren?"

Marissa glowered at both the maid and the baby blanket she was holding condescendingly. Her eyes felt hurt just staring at the cheap blanket. She couldn't even imagine her grandchild being wrapped up in such pauper fabric.

"Mr P... Paul asked us to b...bring them here ma'am. It is from Madam E...Ella's mum." The trembling maid stuttered in response. She was wise and careful enough to leave out the part that concerned Marissa's gift. She wasn't about to lose her job by instigating a battle in the house.

"Maggie has arrived and Leon didn't dim it fit to inform me!" Marissa's forehead furrowed in annoyance. She flung the baby blanket on the neatly arranged baby stuff and stormed out of the room.

"Paul!" Marissa came downstairs calling out while dialing Leon's number.
