Chain Of Desires
After a long and tiring journey back from Carlpole, Leon retired straight to his bedroom, when he got home. He quickly sent Ella the usual goodnight message and was about to go into his bathroom to shower when he received an unexpected call from her.
Ever since he started sending her flowers every morning and evening accompanied by poetic text messages, Leon had been happy that Ella was slowly warming up to him. This gave him hope for the future.
He was even planning on stepping up his game at winning his wife's heart without expecting anything from her in return.
But seeing her calls so soon was like the best thing that ever happened to him. His eyes lit up in excitement as he hurriedly received the call.
Unfortunately, his celebration was short-lived due to the harsh and broken words that came out of Ella's mouth. As if the insult wasn't enough, her next action stifled his weak heart.
