Synopsis for the new book!

Name: Luciel (Lucy-el) "Silver" Nightingale

Place of Birth: The Dungeon City of [REDACTED]

Heritage: Born a half-angel half human. Transformed into a Nephilim: Angel of Wrath and Devil of Lust

Mother: Azriel the Angel of Wrath

Father: Stephen Nightingale

Backstory: Luciel was born in the Dungeon City of [REDACTED] a prosperous city where adventurers are plentiful, a city with high capital and many successful guilds and people. It is viewed as greater than the ancient city surrounding the Tower of Babel. The pinnacle of human society and greatness! It possessed a modern feel not very dissimilar to Seoul. However his story doesn't begin in the bright lights of the dungeon city, his story begins in the slums of the city, where those born without power or skill reside.

Here the law of the jungle reigns supreme, his parents met by chance as Azriel was looking over the city looking for mortals to bless in the absence of God who has long since been dead after the war with Lucifer (who died early in the war) and his devils. While searching the city she discovers Stephen being abused by men and women alike and takes pity on him. Seeing the struggle he goes through and yet still wanting to live. She slowly falls for him and appears before him in a 'human' form. In this form she and Stephen fall madly in love and she eventually becomes pregnant and gives birth to Luciel. However, she keeps the form for too long which causes her brother Zadkiel, the angel of righteousness, to descend and look for her. Sensing her brother's descent she goes out to meet him, leaving Stephen and an infant Luciel alone. Upon sensing her "corruption" Zadkiel kills her thinking she has fallen and defected to the Devils, believing that the only way she could have lost her angelic presence is by being with a Devil.

17 years pass and Stephen continues to whore himself out to provide for his son Luciel in an attempt to make sure that Luciel does not fall victim to the same evils of the city he has. Hoping that one day he can move he and his son into a more safe part of the city, however fate is cruel and instead Stephen contracts a mana cognitive disorder from laying with so many adventurers and mercenaries. The disease causes Stephen to fall violently ill, incapable of working as a prostitute anymore. In an attempt to find a cure for his father Luciel joins the local gang who promise him that if he works hard enough and helps their gang gain control of the entire greater slum area of the [REDACTED] , and over the course of 5 years he commits countless crimes and begging/threatening even more people within the slums to find a cure. He is titled Silver, The Reaper of the Dungeon City, everywhere he roams he leaves bodies in their wake. Eventually an older looking noble crosses Luciel's path and offers him a chance. A chance to make it out of the slums! A promise for riches and power beyond his wildest dreams. However, Luciel cuts the man off and asks if he knows any healers capable of healing someone with mana cognitive disorder. The man snickers claiming that he is more than capable of handling some "mortal" disease.

The man reveals that he was searching for Luciel to recruit him. Luciel begins to consider the nobles of the city and yet doesn't recognize him. Luciel is immediately on guard as he normally is much more cautious especially when finding leads to heal his father. It's then the man tells Luciel to calm himself and introduces himself as the Archdevil Mephistopheles, and in exchange for healing his father he wants Luciel to sell his humanity to him and become a devil. Luciel asks again, if he's sure that he can heal his father to which Mephistopheles says to him that it's child's play. However since it's a devil contract both parties must actively complete their ends of the bargain, but as Luciel is converting himself to a devil, his latent angelic powers which have only since revealed themselves through an increased healing factor and combative talent begin to reject his conversion into a devil. Soon a bright flash of gold and purple envelops the city leaving nothing behind but a naked Luciel.

Luciel wakes up and looks around to see the city decimated, and overwhelmed by his senses. It's like the world itself has awoken, he is reborn a Nephilim. Half Angel and Half Devil , the first of his kind since God brought the flood to kill all of the ancient Nephilim. In an attempt to figure out what happened to him Luciel goes forth to discover what he is now and how to control his powers, he visits many different cities and realms meeting countless other beings: mortal, immortal, God and Goddesses alike. Fighting some, killing others, and building friendships and relationships that will last for an eternity.
