"So... What happened?"

"I wasn't planning on letting her leave me."

"But you said she died," the woman whose name was Laura questioned.

"She did... but I didn't let death take her. So I followed her, leaving everything behind, including our child..." I thought back to the baby then quickly shook my head to get rid of it.

"So you're saying that your wife died but you didn't want to live without her so you killed yourself too," I nodded my head at her and she sighed a sad sigh.

"And now... I need to find her," I said.

"Find her? What? Is her soul lost or something?"

"I think my soul is the one that's lost."

"Oh," she hummed, turning her head up to look at the leaves before turning her gaze to look at the grass. She probably thought I was crazy and I can't blame her for doing so. "What will happen if you can't find her?" She asked hesitantly after a moment.

"I'll keep looking for her," I simply answered.
