Finally, today was the last day of choosing the best archer of the realm. Aanya didn't have any archery skills but she knew that she didn't have an amazing archer that could win and if today no one surfaces out she shall choose Xori, an ordinary god who is at least better than the others.

Several archers came but none were up to the mark of Xori hence at last it was noon and now the chance to participate was closing as the gate closed..

As soon as it closed..Aanya was about to declare Xori as the archer who was going to participate for their realm in a week when she heard..

"STOP..(pants pants) PLEASE OPEN THE GATES, I....I BEG OF YOU YOUR HIGHNESS!"

The guard: Hey, no more participants allowed so go from here otherwise we shall...

The guard was about to attack him when the young man dodged and removed his arc and bow as he pulled a bow and the bow directly went to the hat of the guard who was shocked for a while and also sweated, since the bow was just above his head..

The guard called more more guards to teach him a lesson when Aanya who was listening to the commotion outside called them and asked the matter..

Aanya: What's wrong?

The guards narrated her the impudence of the young man.. Aanya listened to it carefully, like usually all the rulers do, the natives who were there thought maybe the young man shall be punished but what Aanya said next surprised them.

Aanya: Let him in..first!

When finally the gate reopened, Aanya saw a seemingly young guy but he had covered his face and only his eyes were visible, she felt as if she had met him but doesn't remember where.

"Salutations your Highness!"

Aanya bowed her head in respect..

Aanya: Why are you here?

"I..I want to participate in the archery competition!"

Aanya: But the deadline was 10 minutes ago you missed it so..

"No..I..I excuse for being late but..I..I really had my reasons!"

Aanya: Fine..but why don't you try next year or when the competition shall be held next?

"I..I my family doesn't accept me coming here to participate..and I don't think next time they shall accept it as well!"

Aanya: That's why you hid your face?

The boy nodded..

Aanya: So..you have come here without letting your family know about it.

"Yes..your Highness!"

Aanya: So what should we call you?

"Umm you can call me Fone!"

Aanya: Fine Fone I'll give you a chance alright but don't disappoint me!

Xori gulped what if he manages no he should be calm, he was the best in the entire realm there was no way, this lad could beat him especially considering his weak body.

The minister: Your Highness..you..

Aanya: Minister, we should give him a chance.hmm

The minister: Alright.. So..begin the trial

Then after some time, Fone had to be ready,

He had to look into the reflection of water and shoot a dot above him in only 5 seconds..In this competition no one came victorious and since he was late, he was given the most difficult task firstly itself.

Fone breathed in deeply, he opened his eyes as he focused on the reflection of the dot and..Bam..

Everyone turned and gasped, he actually was able to get the dot..even Xori widened his mouth in shock..no one in the entire realm managed to pull off this.. Fone breathed a sigh of relief.

Aanya smiled unknowingly she had the belief that maybe this guy shall be able to do this.

The second trial had to be done in darkness with only a light for 2 seconds on a moving dot and as soon as the light goes off the archer had to shoot the movie dot.

Fone gulped as he made himself ready mentally, he decided not to be too proud of his earlier feat in order to be able to keep his composure.

The trial started and a drop of sweat fell on Fone ans then he saw the moving dot and shoot..

The arrow had already gone and the light came back and Fone smiled..

The arrow was right on the dot with great round of applause was heard for him..

Aanya looked at him as she said..

"You shall be our Archer but..Since Xori was choosen before you.."

The disappointed eyes of Xori lifted again..

"Xori shall be your replacement if in any manner you won't be available!"

Everyone clapped, maybe after so long the fire realm shall have a winner.
