Very priceless

Natasha had a look of surprise on her face when she saw Romanoff turn around, she could not lie, her heart literally stopped beating for a second.

She had so many questions on her mind, like what the heck he was doing here, why he was here, as far as she knew he wasn't involved in any formal missions, he was just here on holiday to stay with Jean, so it made no sense why he was here.

Romanoff on the other hand was completely silent, shooting a piercing gaze at Natasha, he knew that the one of the government agents was here, but it made no sense to him why she was here at all, he could even see Dom.

This made no sense to him, why would she be here along with those who wanted to bust him… he couldn't think of a good reason… unless she somehow knew everything that was going on in the organization on a daily basis, and that included long term missions such as this one.

But even then, she was just a new lower agent, she couldn't have had access to such sensitive files unless… unless she came in contact with someone who did, and that would be him… He had all the files of long term operations that run as long as five years on his computer.

But where would she have gotten access to his computer?? And then it hit Romanoff how and when, he could remember when she went on her first undercover mission to capture Mark Anthony, he had left her alone in his hotel room, and he could vividly recall that his stupid computer had been acting up that day, which led to him being frustrated and leaving to deal with Mark Anthony.

That must have been it, that must have been when she had all the access to his files and the chance to copy them somehow.

Romanoff couldn't even be angry, he was truly impressed that she could plan something this intricate, no wonder she was beating around the bush whenever he asked about the company's dealings.

The only question left at this time would be why she would be doing all this, and Romanoff knew exactly why, it was only one word… Revenge, that was it, he had known that Natasha wanted revenge, he just didn't expect it to be in the legal way.

Dom on the other hand kept on looking from Natasha to Romanoff who had their gazes locked on each other, from the way they looked at each other, he could tell that something was very wrong here, for one, Romanoff wasn't supposed to be here at all.

Dians didn't even pay attention to the little intense gazes being exchanged between Romanoff and Natasha, he was focused on one thing and one thing only which was bringing this man in at all costs. Natasha quickly stopped looking surprised, she didn't need Dians probing and doubting her more.

Dians walked closer to Romanoff who stayed still and he quickly made him kneel on the ground and checked his pockets finding Romanoff's special gun.

"Be careful with that gun boy, it is very priceless" said Romanoff as he didn't even care that he was being handcuffed, he wanted his gun to be safe and sound, he only just got it, there was no way that he would lose it again.

"Yeah right" replied Dians with a scoff as he threw the gun away harshly, and took Romanoff's phone away as Natasha walked to pick it up while Dians was busy handcuffing Romanoff.

Romanoff looked at Natasha as she looked at him and then at the gun, she said nothing at all.

Romanoff shook his head internally, if only Natasha wasn't here, he would have dealt with this agent easily, it wasn't hard at all, Romanoff had more than thirty years' experience in things like this, he could easily knock out Dians take his gun and kill him right now and here, it wasn't as if he hadn't done it before.

But right now, for the sake of Natasha and him not wanting her to view him like a monster, he would comply for now, after all, he was interested to see what sort of charges they could charge him with to keep him imprisoned, most probably he would be out by tomorrow morning latest.

"Sir we have the other target, he's still unconscious" came a voice from the other side of the newly restored communication line.

"Good, I have the main target here as well" replied Dians as he tapped his earpiece and got up, finally noticing Natasha holding Romanoff's gun.

"Don't touch the evidence Natasha" he replied as he looked back at Romanoff and forced him to stand up.

"You have a lot to answer for" said Dians as his words were directed at Romanoff who remained silent.

Dians was confused right now, but he knew one thing, this man wasn't Igor, he had briefly seen a picture of Igor on the files Natasha gave him, and he had photographic memory, he just didn't know who this man was.

"Meet me at the van and call the police we are going to turn these two in right now" said Dians as he tapped on his earpiece and led Romanoff ahead.

"What is Romanoff doing here? He isn't supposed to be here right??" whispered Dom as soon at Dians left.

"I don't know, something doesn't add up…" said Natasha as she showed Dom that she was just as confused as he was.

Natasha was just relieved that Romanoff didn't say anything that indicated that they knew each other.

"So what are you going to do? What if he implicates you in all of this somehow?" asked Dom as that was what he was worried about most.

"I will handle it, and he won't do that" said Natasha as she slipped Romanoff's gun into her pocket, she had no intention of giving it to Dians.

"What makes you so sure Natasha, after all you can never know" said Dom.

"Well I know, and we should get going now" said Natasha as if Romanoff really did want to implicate her, he would have made mention to Dians that they knew each other while he was being arrested, but he didn't.

Dom didn't like that Natasha was blindly trusting Romanoff like this, after all he was still a criminal regardless of what sort of relationship they had.

"We are taking these two to the station until I get the information that I need" said Dians as he ushered Romanoff into the police car that had just arrived in which Romanoff's partner was already in and handcuffed.

"Get me Peters on the line, I need all the files of this mission" said Dians as his words were directed to his team as they nodded and Dians remembered Natasha and Dom when he saw them standing afar off as he walked to meet them.

"I guess you weren't wrong after all they did show" said Dians as he looked at Natasha.

"I expected nothing else" replied Natasha calmly.

"Hmm right… though we do have a problem, this man isn't the Igor you talked about" said Dians as he was looking for some sort of recognition in her eyes as Natasha made sure to keep a neutral face.

"Well plans change" replied Natasha.

"Right…" replied Dians as he made it clear that he did not believe what she was saying.

"*Ahem* So what will happen to the firearms and the cargo onboard the ship?" asked Dom as he brought the attention to himself, he didn't like the way Dians was questioning Natasha, sure he obviously did not know what was going on, but he clearly wouldn't let Natasha just take the fall with no evidence at all.

"Well the firearms will be confiscated, and as for your cargo, there will be some delay, give it two to three days and they will be released to you with no problem at all" said DIans.

"Alright then thank you" said Dom.

"Where are you taking the agents?" asked Natasha as they both turned to look at her, Dom because he didn't want her asking, and Dians because he was sure that there was something she wasn't telling him.

"The central police station on Anke street" said Dians.

"Pete's station?" asked Natasha.

"Yes I already informed him that we are bringing in the culprits, they will be there for questioning until I get my facts straight" said Dians as Natasha nodded.

"Well it is late now, it's best you go home now" said Dians as Dom nodded.

"I will be coming to the station tomorrow" said Natasha as she didn't want to seem too desperate to talk to Romanoff.

"Fine with me, I also need your presence at the station tomorrow" said Dians as his words held another meaning as for Natasha she didn't care, she trusted Pete, and he always handled matters that concerned her with the uttermost discretion, she knew he would not say anything that wasn't necessary to say.

"Well goodnight then" said Dians as he walked away and Natasha and Dom walked to her car.

"Do we need to get a lawyer?" asked Dom as he got into the car as Natasha did the same.

"I already told you stay out of it, I will handle it myself" said Natasha in clear irritation.

"Okay, I'm sorry" said Dom.

"Just please shut up and drive" said Natasha as she sighed, this whole ordeal was making her feel guilty in a way, she only hoped that she would be able to talk to Romanoff later.

Dom said nothing more as he just did what he was told, started the car and drove away.

Romanoff on the other hand was deep in his thoughts, he was sure that that bastard had dodged a bullet, but not to worry, he would be released soon.

The sound of an officer getting into the car snapped him out of his thoughts as the car started and they drove away, all parties failing to see a pair of brown deadly eyes watching from the shadows of the crates surrounding them.
