"Romanoff you…" came the voice of a man as he could not finish his sentence when suddenly Romanoff walked to him and gave him a mighty blow in his abdomen as the man went down with a thud and he coughed out blood.

"You idiot, I come here, clean your mess, and you still remain showing that in control attitude of yours" said Romanoff as he kicked the man as he was on the ground.

"I admit that I deserve that" said the man as he coughed one more time and he stood up, he was not going to refute Romanoff, he did come all the way here to fix his mess.

Romanoff scoffed as he brought out an handkerchief from his pocket and he used it to wipe his hand, as if disgusted for him having to touch this scum.

"Tell me how you even dare make a mistake of killing the senate's daughter?" asked Romanoff as he sat down on a chair.

"Mistakes, mistakes who knew that she was the lover of the target, died in his arms" said the man.

"And you could not dare to think to just kill the target and no one else?" asked Romanoff as the man brought out a cigarette and a lighter as he lit the cigarette and he began to smoke.

"The girl would have been a witness, I didn't know who she was, and If I let her go, then she would rat on us" said the man.

"Ivor, you are stupid, more than that you…" said Romanoff as he cursed, he could not contain himself.

"How could the girl accuse us with no evidence at all? It would be her word against ours, and not to even talk about how she would risk exposing her affair with a drug lord in the process" said Romanoff, it might have seemed like he just killed people on a whim, no that was not the truth at all, he made sure to calculate and weigh all his actions, he did not kill people who could cause a chain reaction of negative effects on them and their organization.

"The senate's daughter, involved in an affair with a wanted criminal, a drug lord, who so happened to double cross our union, if you were using at least half of that brain that you claimed to have, then you would have silenced her, threatened her, and not kill her like a barbaric animal" said Romanoff.

"Mistakes, are mistakes, you took care of it, besides, it's not like you don't kill others the way I kill them" said Ivor as he smoked.

"Correction Ivor, I don't just kill others, I only kill insignificant people, and not people who are high profile such as her" said Romanoff.

"How did you settle the matter?" asked Ivor as he smoked and Romanoff stood up as he took the smoke from Ivor he threw it on the ground and he stepped on it, he was not liking Ivor's non chalant attitude, it made him feel like this stupid man did what he did on purpose, just to irritate him, but he knew that he could not be that stupid.

"My smoke" said Ivor.

"Shut up, you know how I hate the smell of cigarettes" said Romanoff.

"How did you settle the matter?" asked Ivor once again as Romanoff was trying so hard not to smash in this guy's face, they were on the same team after all, and he was too old for this nonsense.

"Only the righteous are vindicated in the end" replied Romanoff as he spoke in parables.

"Meaning?" asked Ivor.

"You have dirt, it will be uncovered, you don't have dirt, you will be safe" said Romanoff.

"Turns out the Senate's hands are not clean, for him to keep quiet and not demand for justice, we keep his dirty little secrets for him" said Romanoff.

"So he played into our hands" said Ivor.

"Not on purpose you idiot" said Romanoff as Ivor was seeing how all his problems were solved.

"Ten years ago he murdered a fellow congressman, he wanted his position, thought he had buried the hatchet" said Romanoff.

"Well that is that, problem solved" said Ivor as he brought out another cigarette.

"You are an imbecile" said Romanoff as he scoffed.

"And you are a saint" said Ivor in sarcasm as he scoffed.

"What is done is done" said Ivor as he lit his cigarette.

"You know what, I don't have time for this, you are lucky that our superiors want to see you, or else, I would have given you a proper beating, the kind that you deserve" said Romanoff as Ivor just smiled at him.

"Poprobuy (try it)" said Ivor as he smiled and Romanoff felt his restraint break as he kicked Ivor in his abdomen as he went crashing on the wall.

"A few broken ribs is not that bad" said Romanoff as Ivor spit out blood as he touched his ribcage.

"Report me if you dare, or not, up to you" said Romanoff.

"Report back to Russia as soon as possible, because if I wasn't allowed to deal with you, then they surely will" said Romanoff as he walked away and he wiped his leg on the loose material of Ivor's jeans as he walked away leaving Ivor on the ground.

"Svoloch' (Bastard)" said Ivor as he coughed out more blood and he stood up, he was done with this.

The next Monday.

"You think the commander will actually come today?" asked Tatiana as she looked at Kira, Kira seemed to be the one who knew what was going on.

"I believe so, but it is good that we are all here" said Kira as they were all here in the gym, even Vicki was here, but she was training on her own in the far corner, she did not want to associate herself with Natasha.

"Hopefully Commander is in a good mood today" said Olga as she stopped sparring with Artem as he was blocking her punches.

"Hopefully so, Commander is very scary when angry" said Tatiana as Kira laughed.

"He is scary at all times Tatiana" said Kira as she laughed and Sofia laughed as well.

"Good Morning everyone" said Romanoff as he suddenly walked into the gym as they all turned to look at him and they quickly stood in line as Romanoff stood in front of them.

"Good Morning Commander" they all said in a chorus.

"I trust that you all did what I asked you to do, and you all practiced?" asked Romanoff.

"Yes Commander" they all said.

"Hmm" said Romanoff as he looked at every single one of them and then his eyes landed on Natasha as he snapped out of his thoughts and he looked at Tatiana.

"You will all present what you were working on with me and the rest of your team mates" said Romanoff.

"Tatiana, Alexi, the two of you will go first, followed by Artem and Olga, and then Nikolai and Kira, Andrei and Sofia, and finally Vicki, Rodion and Natasha will go last" said Romanoff.

"Yes commander" they all said in a chorus.

"Get to it" said Romanoff as he had all day, but they did not know that.

"From what I can see, you have improved, but you can be better" said Romanoff as Andrei and Sofia finished sparing as Andrei pinned Sofia on the ground.

"Thank you Commander" said Sofia as Andrei helped her up as they walked back to the others.

"Watch it" said Nikolai as he looked at Andrei in anger as he hit him with his shoulder.

"You watch it" said Andrei as he glared at Nikolai and he walked away.

"Alright, now it is Rodion, Vicki and Natasha's turn" said Romanoff as he looked at the three of them and he seemed to be thinking.

"Alright, since there are three of you, Rodion, you sit this one out, I already know that you are good with combat" said Romanoff.

"I want to see Vicki and Natasha fight" said Romanoff as Tatiana gasped and he looked at her as she smiled sheepishly, but everyone else had the same reaction, they all knew how much Vicki disliked Natasha and putting them against each other was causing trouble.

Natasha looked at Rodion as he shook his head, he did not expect this to happen, Vicki had not trained with them, not at all, and well, he did not trust Vicki at all.

Natasha did not know if this was a good idea, after all, she had only practiced with Rodion.

"Is something the matter?" asked Romanoff as he wondered why there was a silent communication going on between all of them.

"No Commander" said Vicki as Romanoff looked at her.

"Then get to it, we do not have all day" said Romanoff.

"Yes Commander" said Vicki as she walked to the mat and Natasha followed after her, she had no other choice, if she refused to fight Vicki, then Romanoff would ask why that was so, and how would she be able to explain that Vicki hated her.

Natasha and Vicki stood opposite each other as the others and Romanoff watched them, Tatiana sighed as she held her breath, she hoped that nothing horrible would happen.

Without warning Vicki did not even give Natasha a chance to get ready as she rushed towards her and she threw a punch as Natasha moved back, Vicki was being too aggressive.

"Hey watch it" said Natasha as she held Vicki's fist as she whispered and Vicki grunted as she kicked Natasha's shin as that hurt Natasha and she moved back as Vicki kept on attacking.

Natasha felt like she could not keep up with Vicki's aggressive attacks so she moved further and further away as Vicki kept on going after her.

Kira looked at Romanoff, this did not look like a sparring match at all, she expected him to call the match off, but he did nothing at all, he was just watching, so Kira decided to keep quiet.

Natasha realized that she could not keep on trying to run away from Vicki so she turned and she kicked Vicki on the left side of her abdomen as that seemed to hit Vicki painfully as she attempted to punch Natasha's face but Natasha ducked as Vicki used her foot to trip Natasha and Natasha fell down as Vicki pounced on her and she gave Natasha a blow on the right side of her face as Natasha cried out in pain.

"Enough" said Romanoff as he had seen enough, but Vicki did not seem to hear him.

"Vicki, I said enough" said Romanoff as he raised his voice and Vicki looked at him as Natasha touched the right side of her face, it hurt… a lot.

"Penalty, you know the rules Vicki, no hitting people in their faces, and what sort of aggressive fight was that?" asked Romanoff as he scoffed.

"You are punished, after this, you will go and serve your punishment" said Romanoff as Vicki stood up and she scoffed as Romanoff walked on the mat to where Natasha was lying on the ground as he helped her up.

"Are you alright?" asked Romanoff as he assessed the damages to Natasha's face, Vicki did hit her very hard, but he had expected for her to fight back, and not take Vicki's nonsense.

"No" replied Natasha as she had never been punched in the face before, the skin in the right side of her face started to turn red as Romanoff sighed.

"Kira, get Natasha an ice pack for her face" said Romanoff as he turned to look at Kira as Kira nodded her head, even though she wondered why Romanoff did not stop them earlier, it was clear that Vicki was being too aggressive.

"Vicki, I give you my last and final warning, nothing like this should ever repeat itself again, and if it does, I will deal with you personally, is that clear?" asked Romanoff.

"Yes Commander" said Vicki reluctantly, at least she got to land a blow on Natasha's face.

"Here commander" said Kira as she gave Romanoff an ice pack as he held Natasha's face in place and he put the ice pack on the right side of her face as she hissed and winced in pain, the cold ice made it way worse.

"Bear with it, it will make it better" said Romanoff in a plain tone as Natasha did not say anything.
