Jenna and Clarisse were having trouble dealing with the female Greenleaf.

Although injured, he was still fit enough to cause trouble for the two girls.

At the center of it were two figures lying on the ground.

It was Reily.

Jenna and Clarisse were stunned by this sight, not expecting to find such a scene upon their arrival.

They also thought that once he did, he might have a good chance of escaping from the beast, but they never thought he would be able to kill it.

Yet before them lay the beast's corpse.

Clarisse noticed at that moment that Reily's body seemed to be trembling slightly.

Once done, he slowly stood up and turned to look at the two figures behind him.

"Oh, you've arrived," he said in his normal tone, leaving no trace of the aura that surrounded him earlier.

The two girls, no longer sensing that strange atmosphere from before, calmed down.

They wondered if it had been just an illusion.

Seeing that Reily seemed to be fine, Jenna spoke.

"We came as quickly as we could, but it seems you managed even on your own," she said, looking at the beast behind him.

"Ah, this?"

"Yes, it was difficult to fight it, but I was lucky enough to land a fatal blow," he said as he turned to retrieve his sword from the beast's corpse.

The sword was stained with blood, which ran along the blade and dripped to the ground.

Reily took a rag from the pouch at his waist and wiped it clean.

The two girls, seeing that he seemed to be okay, didn't ask any more questions.

Their impression of him had once again increased.

They knew luck had little to do with facing a beast like that.

Jenna didn't know how to feel at the moment.
