February 14, 2021: Abstraction

Although Syn agreed to have a meal with Konrad, she announced that she would only do it on the condition that the man continued with the inspection. It was not an issue for her to wait for hours at an end. Konrad was her client. If she so desired to gain his favour, she should heed his wishes as best as she could. 

The reason that she could be brazen as to raise a condition was by virtue of how Konrad treated her in their past encounters. She noticed the way he was being considerate to her situation. There was also the fact that he believed everything that she said, considering that they would sound as the words of a lunatic in the ears of other people. With that in mind, she didn't know how she should express her appreciation for all the times that he saved her. Even now, she was the one who's on the receiving end. The last thing that she ought to do was to deny him what he wanted. Thus, despite feeling the need to be alone at the moment, she welcomed his invitation.
