The CEO
- the present day -
"So I'll take your silence as a yes, we're meeting at emerald bay at 9 tonight. And I would like to talk to you in person so please be there Ms. Joanna" Isac spoke and hung up.
Isac knew the fact that it was not Joanna but since he took the wrong name during the call he just continued with it. He didn't leave any room for embarrassment.
Calista sighed when she heard the long beep. What was wrong with this person. He didn't even ask her if she wanted to go. But then she remembered how she didn't let him speak yesterday so.. she accepted it. The score was even now.
-- the same day in office
It was officially the first day for Isac as the new CEO of the company. Technically it was his first week but nobody has met him until today. He had been here in the company to assess as well do some paperwork before he took over the position. Even more, people wouldn't recognize him since he mostly started working late during the night or he starts working after almost everyone has left from work.
Everyone loved what they saw when Isac entered the company. He was a tall, well built man and looked young. Naturally everyone was drawn to his looks. To add to that list he was very competent, intelligent extremely smart, and what not. He was a total package.
Truly Calista couldn't believe that she had met her boss a day earlier than everyone else. The meeting was not a simple meet but a blind date! And the fact that she had to meet him again tonight made her feet tremble in fear. How can she ever possibly think of dating her boss. They were just too many people already in line and were at fierce competition to make Isac notice them.
Her soul left her body after that phone call. She looked exhausted. Way beyond exhaustion. She could barely focus on her work.
But on the other hand Isac was completely fine and he was already in a meeting with the board members. He was not affected at all. He moved about with his work as if nothing had happened.
