Day 1 - (1)

It was 7:59 a.m. Calista punched her attendance in the biometrics. It was 8:00 when she released her finger. Good. She was not late thankfully. She woke up early and rushed as soon as possible and got into the office just before it was 8:00.

One of the things that was mentioned in the email was everyone should be present on or before 8:00 and their punctuality would add up a lot to their performances.

It definitely felt like school but except they weren't punished for being late, but it felt different. Calista entered the office and saw everyone was present already. At least she wasn't late as she used to be.

Isac entered almost at the same time as Calista. He was literally standing behind her. Calista felt a presence behind her and immediately without turning back she rushed to her desk.

"Good morning" His voice sounded so good. His voice was deep but not too deep. The perfect pitch that suited his well chiseled face.

Everyone went into a trance when they heard him as well as saw him at the same time. He looked exceptionally good today. He just wore a plain black shirt and no suit. It was neatly tucked in and he wore dark grey formal pants. Breath taking indeed. He didn't look like his usual self. He didn't carry that CEO vibe with him. He looked like a normal person working yet so attractive.

He stared at everyone. Their eyes was still glued to him and nobody spoke. He sighed. He clapped his hands once and brought everyone back.

"We'll begin with a small meeting. I'd like to know every single detail starting from the basic statistics to how we could incorporate different strategies to improve the business. I'll give you all 30 minutes to prepare and we'll have a meeting here."

30 minutes to put together all the details?! They all knew he was going to be tough but this?. The manager rushed to his desk to compile a ton of information and passed it on to other members to fill in the rest.

It took 30 minutes for them to compile all the information. They didn't have time to think about the strategies at all. Isac had left and came back exactly after 30 minutes.

Even after he had entered it was still chaotic in the office. He silently went and sat on top of a desk that was placed exactly at the centre of the office. The desk split the office perfectly in two sections. Michael followed him behind and stood next to him.

Isac sat with his legs hanging down in air. As soon as he sat down on the desk everyone stopped what they were doing. They felt a strong presence and turned around to look at him sitting casually on the desk. They all were dumbstruck. They didn't know he could be casual because when they had met him for the first time, he came off like a person who was extremely strict and formal. He actually gave off those vibes even now except his posture screamed casual. The cool CEO.

"So are you all ready? And one thing that I have to mention is that you can come up with strategies on the spot too and I would be expecting quite the number of participation on that. Feel free with sharing your ideas."

They all heaved a deep sigh in sync. Atleast they need not prepare a lot...

"Let's begin, but first please introduce yourselves". As he said that his eyes travelled, sweeping through the entire room to look at each person. But for some reason he stared at Calista for an extra second and he continued scanning the room. He made sure to look at everyone.

Calista gulped unconsciously when their eyes met....
