Who is that?

"What!" I said while sitting there dumbfounded. confused i asked "Wait what do you mean become a star?"

The man who was now sporting a sheepish grin nervously chuckled before responding "Sorry, i forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ichigo Saitou. I'm the president of Strawberry productions, and i am inviting you to join our recently added acting branch."

With a sparkle of excitement in his eye he adds "I originally wasn't going to be personally inviting anyone to join. Then i saw you sitting on that bench and i just knew that you would be perfect for the job."

Finally finishing his recruitment pitch with a deep breath and his arms stretched wide, he looked at me with a gaze full of anticipation.

I was shocked by the confidence he exuded and took a second to process what he had said before replying with "Wait, Strawberry Productions? The same one that manages Ai Hoshino and B-Komachi?"

The president looks at me amusement and says "Yup, that same one. What are you a fan?"

I quickly reply with "No! No i, just have heard of them before."

Archer realizes that he had in fact been reincarnated into oshi no ko. An anime and manga that he had heard about and read a little. The problem was that he only remembered bits and pieces from the manga. Small stuff like Ai Hoshino giving birth to twins, And that the protagonists were her children. As well as the fact that she is killed by an entitled fan who found out she had children.

There was more to the story since it followed her kids but he can't remember much else about it.

While i was thinking about the manga the president asked me "So what do you think? Would you like to be an actor?"

I responded with "Yeah! I mean isn't that like everyones dream. I bet Ai was like that too before she became an idol."

With a nostalgic look in his eyes he chuckled and said "No actually, she didn't want to be an idol at first. I had to beg to change her mind but little by little she started liking it more and now she has come to love being an idol. Damn good at it too."

Lightly shaking his head he says "but enough reminiscing about the past." He says while looking at his watch "I got to get going, here." He pulls out a business card with the name of the company and his number on it. "Give me a call if you are interested and decide to become an actor so that we can hash out the details."

With a smile and a wave he walks away leaving me sitting alone on the bench.

Deciding i should probably figure out what i'm going to do about a place to sleep for the night. I stand up, stretch and feel something in my pocket. Taking it out i see its a wallet with some money in it as well as a folded piece of paper.

Opening it, it seems to have directions written on it. Deciding i really have nothing to lose i decide to follow the directions.

On my way there i look around and see a multitude of interestingly colored hair from pink to green all sorts of interesting hair colors. Apparently here its normal for these colors to happen naturally. Shrugging i just chalk it up to anime logic.

After walking for a while i arrive at my destination. which judging by the kids playing on the steps, as well as the lower quality clothing they are wearing mainly the patchwork and the fading color on said clothes. Also by the way the older kids are slightly sizing up each person that passes by. While also looking at the state of the building which is older in need of repairs but also expansive. It appears to be an orphanage.

It also seems that since the previous owner of this body had the directions in his pocket he was an orphan as well.

Suddenly the door to the orphanage is thrown open and a woman cones rushing out and looking around as if searching for someone. Finally the woman spots me and comes running down the front steps and stops in front of me.

With a mix of concern, frustration, relief, and anger she says to me "Archer where have you been! it's way past the time you are allowed to go out."

While the woman is saying that Archer begins to analyze her "This woman knew the previous owner of this body. it seems from the way the kids are looking at her that she is the matron. The previous owner was close to the matron saw her as a mother figure. From the way the kids are looking at us confrontation didn't happen often perhaps the previous owner was a kind and friendly child. If so acting differently will attract unwanted attention. So, a kind and friendly child huh?"

After the matron finished chewing him out Archers presence changed completely from a calm yet somewhat confused child he became flustered and looked guilty like a child who got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. There was also an air of excitement around him he seemed almost impatient to tell her something.

Suddenly he spoke "Sorry, sorry i didn't mean to i just, i got distracted and by the time i realized what time it was i was already late. I'm sorry."

Immediately the matron was shocked still and her jaw dropped this was mirrored by all the children who were watching the exchange. The thing that Archer didn't realize is that the previous owner of his body had only spoken when absolutely necessary and was always cold and distant never displaying emotion and they disliked him for that. But in a single moment Archer was able to change their entire idea of him and gone from disliking him a lot, to sympathizing with him and liking him in the blink of an eye and no one even knew he did it.

Archer continued, with his guilt turning into a glowing excitement and his face reflecting that. his eyes glowing like stars in the night sky he says "The only reason i was late is because i was scouted by a famous company that wants me to be one of their actors!"

This shook the matron out of her shock and she looks at him in disbelief and says "WHAT!"
