Noel Love

I laid on my bed and stared at my ceiling. I've been in bed for the past week, haven't even left my room after that day unless I had to use the bathroom. Rebecca and Rhea come check on me here and there, especially Rebecca. Some days she would come lay in bed with me and hold me close to her. Today was no different...Rebecca held me close to her and she just laid there.

I eventually sat up and Rebecca sat up as well. She looked at me and heard my phone ringing. She grabbed it off the night stand then put it on speaker.

"Rebecca speaking." She answered.

"Again? He's ignored my calls for the past week. Is he there?" Charlotte asked.

"Yeah he's actually up now." Rebecca said.

I took my phone from Rebecca's hands then looked at it. "What is it..?" I asked, sounding incredibly drained.

"Whoa. The dead man rises back up. Listen, I know it's short notice but Noel wants you to meet..him at his house." Charlotte said.

"Tell him I said I'm busy." I said then nearly hung up.

"Wait! Before you hang up like I know you're gonna do. It's actually important. He has something he needs you and only you to see." Charlotte said.

"What does he want me to see and not Eli?" I asked.

"You have to find that out yourself." Charlotte said.

I sighed and got out of bed. "Fine...I'll go."

"Good." Charlotte said then hung up the phone.

I walked to my closet to get some fresh clothes then walked to my bathroom to take a shower. I stood in the shower and let the water hit my head. I couldn't get the image of Matt out of my head. I leaned against the wall and covered my face with my towel and groaned loudly.

"I can't fucking tell him...I can't bring myself to say it..." I said to myself and slammed my fist against the wall. "Matt...just why..?!"

Rhea listened and looked down. She looked back and saw Rebecca walking to her. "Even after a week...he's been hurting like this. I don't expect him to just...get over it, but I'm worried."

"I'm quite worried too. I've never seen him this destroyed before. I really want to do something that would cheer him up, but everything I've tried he's been stoic. He doesn't respond to me anymore like he used to...what happened? Why is he like this?" Rebecca asked.

"He...had to kill one of his good friends. I complete understand how he feels. You've been through that as well. I've been through it.." Rhea said.

"Yeah. The Agent job ain't easy." Rebecca sighed.

I walked out of my bathroom and put my hair in a ponytail. I walked by them and Rebecca grabbed my arm. I looked at her and she looked at me.

"Drive safe, love bug.." Rebecca said.

I looked at her and looked down. "I will." I said then she let me go and I walked away.

"I love you!" She called out to me.

"I love you too." I said then made my way downstairs.

I grabbed my keys off the kitchen counter then walked into my garage and pressed a button to open the garage door. I got in my car and got in. I started my car then looked at my phone when Charlotte sent me Noel's address. I drove off and pressed a button to close the garage door. I decided to put on some music to distract myself.

As I drove to Noel's house, I noticed there was a lot of traffic then sighed. I looked out the window and rolled it down. I opened the compartment in front of the shift stick then pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. I opened the pack of cigarettes then pulled one out and lit it. I took a puff and slowly blew the smoke out of my mouth. I noticed the traffic was finally moving and began to drive.

My notification sound went off and I looked at my phone noticing I got a text from Chloe. "Eh..? How did she get my number..?" I asked myself. I clicked on the message and read it.

Chloe: Heya, I heard about your first day from Charlotte and she gave me your number. I want to say I hope you get well soon and if you ever need anything or want to hang out you can come by. Also my offer still stands~ For $20 I can make you real happy~

I smiled a bit at the message then noticed the traffic was moving again. I began driving again.

It took about 30 minutes for me to reach Noel's house. I parked my car in front of his house and stopped my car. I got out then walked to his front door. I rang the doorbell and waited. I noticed the door open and saw a person with long blonde hair and multi colored highlights and two different color contacts in their eyes. They wore a light blue hoodie with the hood on, a yellow t-shirt, and white pants. They had different colored pins in their hair and stickers on their face.

"Ah- Is Noel home? He wanted me to see something." I said.

The person looked at me. "I am Noel. This is the real me. I'm a girl.."

I looked at the person and gave a sarcastic laugh. "You're not serious are you?"

She puffed her cheeks and nodded. "I am Noel Love. Come in here!"

I walked in and Noel closed the door behind us then blushed. "I can't believe that you've been a girl this entire time. I've always thought you were a guy."

"I have to play the role of a guy to keep my identity hidden, but since you're an agent as well, I don't have to hide who I am in front of you." Noel said and took my hand then led me to her secret bedroom.

We entered her secret bedroom and I looked around. It was vibrant with colors and anime posters. She had all kinds of anime figurines and stuffed animals. She sat at her desk that had three monitors and an expensive PC. I walked to her desk and stood next to her. I rested my arm against her gaming chair and looked at the screen.

"You're an artist huh.." I said then looked at her.

She nodded and smiled. "I've just picked up this hobby, but I'm not really good at line art so I've just been doodling."

I looked back at the screen and smiled then walked around her room. "So...tell me who exactly you are. I'm assuming Eli hasn't figured out who you are? Haven't you two had sex before?"

"Ehh...I wouldn't say sex. I am a virgin still. The most I've done was give him blowjobs and that's it. Honestly his dick isn't too big and he doesn't like doing it with me as often anymore. Not that I want to, just strange that he's now away a lot more." Noel said.

"And what about my first question? Who are you really? Is your name even Noel?" I asked.

"It is Noel. My name hasn't changed. It's a gender neutral name so it can't work for my male disguise and my true self." Noel answered. "I'm an Agent working for Aunt Charlotte's friend at the Japan Branch. I was thinking about moving back to Japan until I heard you were an agent and a Top Agent like me."

"You're Charlotte's niece?" I looked at her, setting down a figurine.

"Mhm. My dad is a very powerful man in Japan. Since Aunt Charlotte owns Paid Relationships and all the co-bosses and Agents she gets help from all over the world though her main HQ is here." Noel said then turned her chair around to look at me.

I looked at Noel then walked to her. She looked up at me. I took one of her pins out of her hair then put it on my hair. She smiled and crossed one leg over the other.

"Your hair, how did you manage to get your hair from straight up black to pure blonde and this long?" I asked.

"Well...these are hair extensions and my stylist is very good at her job." Noel smiled.

"Mmm." I nodded then looked at her and smiled.

I took another one of her pins and put it on my hair then she giggled softly and allowed me to do so.

"You know...Seeing how well you, Penny, and Abby get along makes me jealous. I'm always home when I'm not working and Eli is out doing God knows what. I'm glad I called you over. We can get to know each other on a deeper level now. Maybe we can do something now so I can get out of the house for a bit?" She tilted her head.

I looked at her and placed my hands in my pockets. "Fuck it. Let's go." I said then she happily stood up and followed me out of her room.

We walked out of the house together and she locked the door with her keys. We walked to my car and I opened the door for her. She smiled and got in the car then I closed the door. I went over to the driver's side and got in then started the car.

"I feel like driving aimlessly, wanna do that and chill?" I asked.

"Yeah." Noel smiled and giggled.

I nodded and put the car in drive then drove off. I let down the windows and dropped the roof of the car with a click of a button. She closed her eyes and let the wind hit her face. I began to speed up on the highway and she squealed happily. We sped through the highway and she put down her hood, letting her hair flow with the wind.

We drove around for a good hour before having to stop for some gas. I stopped at a gas station and got out of my car to get some gas. I walked into the store and paid for some gas and get some snacks for me and Noel. When I walked out, I noticed Coach Mark's car then walked over to his car.

"Coach Mark." I said.

"Well well, the missing has reappeared." Mark smiled.

"Hey Coach Caroline." I waved at her.

"Hey there, Ryder. We haven't seen you in a while so I was getting worried. Glad to know you're still okay." She smiled.

"What are you doing out here?" Mark asked.

"Just driving around to clear my mind. I'm out with a friend of mine." I said.

"Man, I remember those days. Be sure to not get caught by the cops when driving around like that. Last thing you need is a ticket." Mark chuckled, half jokingly.

"Yeah yeah, nice joke." I chuckled.

Mark smiled and got out of his car and I walked back to mine then put gas in my car. After putting gas in my car, I got in and set the bags of snacks on the backseat then started my car. I drove off and we continued to drive around aimlessly.

Another hour passed and we stopped on a beach and we sat on the hood of my car. We smoked a cigarette together and ate snacks.

"The beach is so pretty and so...calming.." Noel said.

"Yeah. Nothing beats the beach." I smiled.

"Except anime." We both said at the same time.

We looked at each other and laughed softly. We looked out at the ocean again then Noel wrapped her pinky finger around mine.

"This is the most fun I've had in forever...I really want to do this again.." Noel said.

"Call me. I'll come pick you up whenever you want to do this again." I said.

Noel looked at me. I looked at her and smiled. I had completely forgotten about all of my problems when I was with Noel. She had calmed me down and I really enjoyed her company. We slightly leaned into each other then Noel's phone rang. We blushed and cleared our throats and scooted a bit away from each other. I twirled a strand of my hair around my finger.

Noel answered her phone then cleared her throat, putting on her boy voice. "Hey Eli, what's up? Mhm...You're gonna be late again? That's fine. I'll...have dinner- Oh you're gonna get something to eat on your way home? Alright. Bye bye."

"Another late night?" I asked.

"Yeah. Unfortunately, I'll be stuck at home tonight by myself again." Noel sighed.

"Come over to my house." I said.

"You know I can't. And you can't stay over my house either..." Noel blushed.

"You want to be bored by yourself again? Come on, what do you have to lose?" I asked.

Noel smiled and looked at the ocean. "Oh alright. I'll go with you back to your house. You're lucky I actually don't want to be bored at home."

I smiled and nodded. We got back into my car and I started it up then we drove back to my place.
