Chapter 62 She's in 2

Rosary couldn't believe her eyes! Like she was in for real! Her dream of modelling is coming to pass! She couldn't wait to break this news to Steve and Lilah...

Excitedly she gets off the stage with butterfly in her belly.. this is a dream come true!

In the corridor way.

Adam was still saying rubbish, Steve rolls his eyes, explaining to this guy is taking his time. Rosary might be in need of him now.

"Adam, why don't we go back to stadium. Rosary must be waiting for me"

"Aww, you sure a darling. Couldn't keep your girlfriend waiting, right?"

Really? Adam is more than unthinkable, he's unreasonable! He just told him about the relationship of him and the girl. Just playing to be her guide and nothing more! Why is Adam still suggesting he had a relationship with the girl!

Yeah, it true she's beautiful but doesn't means he had to abandon his feeling for Lilah and shift it to her best friend....... It's makes no sense at all, for Christ sake! The two girls are friends...!

He rolls his eyes frustrated, and barge out..

Adam who wasn't done finished talking, ran after him saying. "Let truth be told you two fixed a better couple!"

Ignoring his word, Steve left the corridor to the stadium.

Immediately, Rosary saw he coming in, she ran to him. Hugged him and subconsciously kissed him on the cheek. Steve was shocked to the immediate act but she only did it out of joy.

"Steve, you can't believe it. I'm in!" She exclaim happily, jumping up, over joy. Adam who was behind them rushed in.

"You're in?" He asked surprisingly, of course the girl have the looks and body for the show, never had doubt about that but he was expecting himself to be there to judge her! Those annoying asshole, them couldn't wait for him to come back before going on with the judging.. 

Rosary, who immediately pick the man face as one of the judge, greeted him . "Good morning Sir"

" Oh good morning my darling" Adam replied, she was surprised to see the man with them. Nervously she low down her head.

Adam turn to Steve, " your girlfriend is extremely beautiful. You should take her out to celebrate her success for practicing as an international model"

Steve was getting hook with the way Adam was keeps on suggested he's dating the girl. Rosary who never understand what the man meant but blushed.

"Thank you sir but we're just friends" Steve replied narrowed his eyes at Adam, warning him to keep quiet.... Obediently, Adam left the issues there but that didn't mean he would completely forgotten. He was still planning on bringing the two together. With such beautiful girl, she fixed Steve well!

"Alright, I would leave you two together now" he turned to Rosary, took her hand warmly. " It will be honored to work with you. Hope you're ready for this?"

" Born ready sir" then he left..

Steve felt a bit better now. "Do you know the judge?" Rosary quicken asked, as soon as the man left.

"Just seen him around, not that serious"

"He such a funny guy"

"Of course he is, and also annoying"

Rosary giggled, " that reminds me , I want to break the news to Lilah that I have been accepted into the modelling" Rosary quickly answered, bought out her phone and dialed Lilah number..

Immediately, Lilah picked up,

" Hello Lilah! " Rosary shouts, she was so excited that she couldn't hide it. Today is one of her best days forever!

"Hello?" Lilah pale asked but tried to hide her sad expression. " Lilah, guess what? "

" What bitch? "

" I just get accepted to join the international model practice! "

" OMG, fuck that! You are really in? For real? "

" Of course baby I'm in, born in the game! I can't believe this happening to me, all thanks to you Lilah. You play a best role in my life. You're the best! "

Lilah smiled, that really touched her heart. All she wanted for Rosary to live a peaceful life with no pains and regrets. She was happy to hear that, in fact extremely happy for her.

She don't need to worry about her job plans again. She sigh a relief breath, " you deserve all the goodness girl. I love you Rosary" she said paley.

Rosary who seem to be little suspicious with the way Lilah speak to her, is she sad? Is something wrong? Lilah have never told her anything after she had left the state to Canada. Yes, them chat and calls but never have she opened up to the girl!

Rosary felt something was amiss, she couldn't bear the bond and ask. " Lilah, are you okay?"

Steve, who wasn't listening to their discussion, just stand by for the girl to finish, then ahead home, suddenly, turned when Rosary asked if Lilah was okay.

"Lilah, you know you can tell me anything. Are you okay?" She asked again. Lilah sighed,

"Of course, I'm just missing you and Jack. Yes, how is Jack doing?" She quick change the subject since the air is becoming stuffing for her to breath....... " Oh Jack is fine, he missed you a lot. And wish to seen you. Are you not coming to spend some time with us in the Canada?"

" Sure, I will definitely, after I have arranged all I need. You will see me in Canada soon. Okay?"

" Okay, I love you"

" I love you too"

She hung up the call, turned to Steve, " okay, we can go now. I have told Lilah, she's so excited for me"

" Sure, she is. Please can you just go to the car, I'm coming. I feel my stomach have started in a bad shape again"

Rosary take a look at him, pretended squeezing his stomach like he was in a great pain. " What do you eat today? You have gone to the restroom twice now"

" I don't know, but I promise to be fast" he said and ran out...... Rosary felt so sorry for him and walks outside to wait in the car for him..

While in the restroom, Steve bring out his phone and dialed Lilah number. He suspected something is wrong and Lilah never wants Rosary to know about it. He had been friends with her since their childhood and know how Lilah operates.

Within some minutes, she picked up,

" Hello Steve, how is things going?"

"Yeah thing are going well. but are you okay?"

Quicken she replied "sure, I am,. Is that the reason you called? You're such a darling!"

He smiled, one of her compliment he had love for all these years. She calling he a darling. He wished she would not only address him as a friend but also a lover someday.

"If you are not saying anything else, can I hung up now? I have thing to do"

"Okay, but if you need something let me know alright?"

"Sure, I will"

"I love you" before he said those word, she had hung up the call. He looked at his phone and saw she had already ended the call.

He sighed, "why did you never love me back, Lilah?"
