Chapter 122

He knows deep down that Rosary would surely fall for that without her knowing the fact it just a prank. 

But it still hurts him that she cares for another guy apart for him. Just some time, with matters of time, the girl would fall for him only and no one else.

In the cold dark night under the dim light in the busy street, A luxurious black car parked at a corner of a flower shop. 

After coming back from the office, he decided to pay a surprise visit to the girl. Because of his demanding father, he couldn't get the chance to seen her. But today he had decided to surprise her and congrats her for the achievement of last night. 

Happily, he packed all the expensive thing he had bought and took them to the car. 

Entered and slumped, the door shut. He sighed, “Rosary, I am coming for you” he starts the car engine and drove off deep into the night.

A man in a black suit emerges out of the car parked in the hotel garage. His expression was full of nothing but happiness of joy. He had waited for this all day, trying to get things done in time in the office. 

The reason his father call him to introduce him to some company big deals making efficient, known as the new CEO of the Smith group. 

After-all, the Smith group was in the third position in the business world billboard chart. Mr. Smith wants more than just being rich. He wants to have the same power the devil have. He wishes to rule and all he needs to achieve that was for his son to play in the business world, even the under world.

Furthermore, he wants Steve to know the world of business and how the richest rule. But too bad Steve mind place in business but in fashion and modeling. That have always been the boy dream. However, since he wouldn't go against his father, he chooses to do all he wants with the fear of losing his one dream he had made.

Now, he felt even though he couldn't get his dream from his father approved to run his little modeling company that does not, mean he also had to dump his feeling. 

He looked at himself in the mirror, combing back the strand on his face.  He had decided to look good and extremely handsome tonight. After Rosary accepted his gifts, he planned to thorn her around the city. 

“Don't be nervous, Steve. You get this” he encouraged himself before walking straight to the hotel doors. 

Immediately, he passed through the door, he just went straight to the hotel receptionists desk.

“Hello, good day sir, can I of a help to you?” A stunning lady in red, neat uniform, said. 

“Yes, you can. Please, I want to see. Rosary, one of the models in this hotel” he said smiling warmly at the lady. 

Firstly, she takes a look at the handsome man who packed numerous gifted bags before she checked her files and return her gaze to him.

“ Oh sir, I am sorry to inform the models have left the hotel this morning” the lady said politely. 

“What!”

“ What…are you saying that they all left?” 

The lady simply nod her head instead of saying a word. 

“ No, I think there is some kind of mixture here. Why don't you check the file again? You must have mistakenly given me the wrong report” he said. 

The lady glanced at him, wondering what the handsome want with the girl Rosary. Without saying a word to be disrespectful to a client. She rechecks her file again this time, more careful and watchful to show she knows what her was saying. 

Steve became restless, how? He asked himself. If they have truly left as the receptionist said, why didn't Adam called and informed him about it! 

“ Sir, I have to check it, but I am sorry to tell you. The models have left this morning to catch up in their flight.  The contract with the Walter group dismissed this morning. You think I am lying to you, sir. You can come and seen my manager” the lady explained. But Steve mind wasn't in the words of the lady. 

Why didn't know one call him? He dipped out his phone from his pocket and quickly dialed Adam number. 

Within some minutes of dipping, Adam finally picked the call. 

“Hello Steve, what's up-” 

“Where the hell is you?” Steve snapped before he could even think of finishing his statement.

Adams is confusing with the question but playfully answered, "where else will I be when I am at home chilling in a cool pool"? 

“Cool pool? Are you insane? Why don't you tell me the contract between the Walter group have been finished? I thought the three days contract, why the sudden end when no one tell me about it?” 

Immediately, Adam got out of the pool. What have gotten into the head of Steve today? He thought, grabs on the towel laying on top the branch to the pool mad wrapped it on his waist.

Now, he can respond to Steve outburst. 

“Steve, what are you saying?” He asked. 

“What I am saying? Why don't you tell me!” 

“Alright calm down. I am sorry not to informed you about the end contract. I thought maybe Rosary must have told you since she left the hotel before any one of us” Adam explained.

“W-what are you saying?” Steve asked, attempting to calm himself down. 

“ I am saying Rosary left the hotel before us. In the morning when I wake up to get the girls ready for the next show. One of Mr. LIM subordinates came to me to inform Mr. LIM have closed the deal but if he wants any shows in his company. He would inform us about it. That's meaning the deal still holds, and a enormous amount of money have been transfer into the company account!” 

Steve sighed. His mind isn't in the company or whatsoever deal they have made with LIM. All he cares for, is the whereabouts of the Rosary!

“ You don't have to worry yourself Steve, the company-” 

“ What about Rosary? You're saying something about her. Where did she go?” Steve asked, cutting Adam short again. Adams didn't understand why the sudden demanding of the girl whereabouts, roll his eyes. He knows Steve might be falling of heel for the girl,, but he keeps on denying it.

Ever since the first day he saw Steve and the girl, he knew something like this is going to happen, sooner or later, even though Steve play hard to admit his true feeling to the girl. 

“Like I say before, she left the hotel before any of us” 

“To where?” Comes his quick question. 

“ To visit her grandma in Canada. Where else will she go to if not Canada? Aren't you the one who told me the girl stay with you? I should be the one to ask about her from you, not the other way round” 

Steve felt his world bis coming to an end. Rosary went back to Canada without informing him first? No, that can't be possible. And who the hell is her grandmother when he knows clearly well the girl didn't have anyone! 

No, something isn't right here. There might be something fishy. Rosary can't leave the state just like that.

Quickly, he dialed the house number in Canada and old April pick the call. 

“ Hello?” The old man said. 

“ Hello Old April, it's me Steve” 

“ Oh, young master. Are you coming back home now?” The old man asked without knowing the main reason he calls in the first place.

“ No, Old April. But I want to check if Rosary is back home” 

“ The young lady. She isn't back home yet but is everything okay sir?” Old April asked worriedly. 

“ No, everything is fine. I just want to check, that's all” 

“ Alright sir if you said so” 

The call ended. Steve clenched on his hair, frustratingly. Feeling like pulling out his brain. He just can't process what's going on. Where would Rosary be if she isn't in Canada? 

No, there might be something wrong somewhere. He turns back to the hotel attendance. 

“ Are you sure all the ladies left the hotel this morning?” 

“ Yes sir, they all left” lad y said,, although she is tiring of hearing the same questions from the man. She tried her best to answer it over and over again. 

“If you are not sure Sir, you can't check the footage in the operation room” the lady suggested. 

“No, there is no need for that” he turned around again.  And dialed the only person Rosary must have gone to meet if she isn't in Canada. That means she would be with Lilah. 

Without a second spin, he strode out of the hotel premises along with his gifts!
