4 YEARS LATER

Ngesa walked together with Aunty and her kids.Suddenly a row of black cars arrived and a group of burly bodyguards arranged themselves in two rows facing each other with a path in between them.Someone announced"Welcome back Mrs Peterson!"Ngesa was so thrilled thinking that maybe they were referring to her and she started telling herself that maybe her fiancee did not leave her and was only waiting for the right time to get her back.When she stepped forward happily, she was pushed back by one of the bodyguards and she fell back with a thud.From the train a beautiful lady appeared and her dressing screamed of luxury.Ngesa immediately recognized that it was her best friend Sylvia and she was holding a small boy's hand who was almost the same age as her triplets.Sylvia looked angry as she complained"I never want to travel in a public train again,it is filled with dirty low class beggars."*"Yes madam"The guards replied in unison.

Ngesa could not stop herself when tears started running down her cheeks.She felt betrayed by her best friend.So she was really waiting for this chance so she could earn the title Mrs Peterson.Her three children surrounded her and asked worriedly"Mummy whats wrong? Did somebody bully you?" She shook her head trying to smile at her children and Jimmy wiped her cheeks with his chubby hands"Mummy ,when I grow up I will buy you a big car like that one"he said pointing at the car which Sylvia and her son had boarded."Please mummy,promise you wont cry""Aah aah NO Cry! no cry!" A little parrot head popped behind Emmy's shoulder.The children hugged their mom as she squatted for them to reach her.Ngesa dried her tears and stood up dragging the luggage with her children walking beside her.Aunty followed also helping to carry the luggage.Due to traffic policies,Ngesa and her triplets got into one taxi while Aunty took another.It was getting dark and the weather was cloudy and it would rain any time soon.Ngesa did not want her kids to get sick especially Emmy who was born weaker than her brothers.

Suddenly the driver of the taxi crashed on the back of an expensive Rolls Royce breaking the hind lights.The driver stopped the car and went to apologise."Sir am really sorry I damaged your car."he pleaded."Do you even know how much this is?"Ace's driver was red with anger flashing across his cold grey eyes.He was also Ace's right hand man and his childhood friend.When the taxi driver saw that he was in trouble he decided to pin the blame on Ngesa.

Ngesa heard the commotion outside and got out to figure out what the problem was."Ss..sir,th the lady aam carrying has three kids and a heav..yy luggage,that..ss why I hit..tt your car.aa..am really ss..sorry."The driver stammered pointing at Ngesa."Hey,thats all your fault ..why are you dragging me and and my kids in this?"Ngesa moved her eyes to the back of the car where there was a shirtless man whose back was facing them and she noticed that he had a wolf tattoo on his waist.He had an ugly bleeding wound on his left shoulder and he seemed to be looking down at something.

Wait!"A wolf tattoo!!??"It was him,the father of her kids.Ngesa eyes bulged out in surprise.How was he there and in such an expensive car,and what happened to his shoulder.Before she would react the man signalled his driver to leave the matter and he slightly

lifted his eyes and saw Ngesa on the side mirror and furrowed his brows "Where have I seen that lady before?"However he got back to staring at the documents on his hands and the Rolls Royce took off at a high speed.

Ngesa got back into the car and her children started attacking the driver"Who gave you permission to bully our mummy you grown man?!"Nicky the eldest one who was ever serious asked in an angry tone."*Its your fault you because you did not observe the traffic rules,do not blame it on us,that was so shameless of you sir!"Jimmy chipped in folding his little hands."We should even report you to the police right there,hey Traffic police !traffic police! there is a bad man here!" Emmy shouted.'Bad man! Bad man!'the parrot mimicked."You know what,am so sick of you get out of my car!"The driver shouted.He got off and removed all their luggage from the boot and zoomed off leaving them in the middle of nowhere."Now what?"Ngesa sighed tiredly.She felt really worn out after the long journey and she wished that she would get a nice bath and rest.

She hailed another taxi and they reached home where they had rented small a two bedroom house with a bathroom,kitchen,dining room and living area.The house had cheap but beautiful furniture since it was all Ngesa could afford at the moment.Aunty had arrived earlier and prepared dinner for them."You look tired,why don't you go and rest I will take care of the kids"."Thanks Aunty I will now take my leave,goodnight guys." Ngesa went to the bathroom, had a quick shower and retired early reminding herself that she would start looking for a job the next day.
