Chapter 18 Deal

(Sorry For the delay in chapters as i am a college student i was having my final exams so i was unable to update new chapters but now it is gonna update regularly. )

The departing guests nodded in approval, acknowledging the significance of the chosen name, as they left the factory with a sense of anticipation for what the future held under Prince Arjun's leadership.

It had been a month since the start of paper production in the factory. Currently, no paper had been sent to the market as I aimed to gather stock. During this time, I appointed Vinay and Komal as the chiefs of the factory in my absence, and Pooja and Ajay as worker chiefs. Everything was regulated, ensuring that if anything were to happen to me or I was absent, the factory would continue to operate.

After ensuring the smooth functioning of the factory, I traveled to the capital with my battalion, accompanied by my best friend, Rahul. Although it was a long journey, upon reaching the capital, I granted a three-day break to my soldiers to reunite with their families and friends, bringing happiness to all.

In my study room, I meticulously drafted plans to introduce our paper into the market, both within and outside the kingdom. I aimed to secure the best deals with trustworthy partners to ensure the success of our business.

With this goal in mind, I identified two influential vendors, both with a long-standing history in the business:

Danik Jagran – Vishesh (Head of Business)

Amar Ujaala – Mahipal (Head of Business)

These vendors, part of their respective family businesses since the time of my father's youth, were known for their trustworthiness and loyalty to the kingdom. I instructed Kavya to arrange meetings with both vendors, with Danik Jagran scheduled at 1 p.m. and Amar Ujaala at 4 p.m.

I asked Kavya to ask one of the finance department in-charge to contact these two company heads tomorrow Danik Jagran at 1 p.m. and Amar Ujaala at 4 p.m. Listening to this, she nodded and went towards the finance department to convey the message. As she is my caretaker and highly respected by me, she was given total respect throughout the kingdom. She went to the finance department, gave my note to the person in-charge there, and left the department. After returning to the main palace, she informed me about this.

Subsequently, I retired to my room for a well-deserved sleep. The next morning, I engaged in a workout, followed by a bath and a prayer ritual. After a healthy breakfast, I delved into my princely duties, reviewing documents and having discussions with my most trusted butler, Murli.

Around 11:30 a.m., I left the palace and proceeded to the meeting with Danik Jagran. Upon entering, Vishesh stood up and greeted, "All hail Prince Arjun – All hail Prince Arjun." I acknowledged the gesture, and Vishesh continued, expressing his pleasure to meet me.

Vishesh continued, "What pleasure do I have to meet you, lord."

To this, Arjun continued, "Ok, so Vishesh, I am here to discuss business-related plans with you. I have a product with very high profit, and if it enters the market, it would provide a large profit margin."

Vishesh became serious and said, "if I may ask, What's the product, my lord?"

Arjun: The product is this paper.

At first, Vishesh was confused and asked me, "My Lord, although paper is a very profitable business, there are already many suppliers of paper in the kingdom. Due to its high price, only selected nobles and merchants can afford this. So, do you think it would generate the required profit?"

Arjun was nodding while listening to his words, and at the end of his speech, he spoke, "I know about the normal paper business you are talking about, but the paper I would provide has a very cheap production cost and also has better quality than that of paper already present in the market."

As I was saying this, I gave him some samples of common paper. Seeing this quality, he was astonished and was now serious about the new paper he was holding. Seeing this, I set a business deal with him. He has rights to sell this paper nationally, that is throughout the kingdom only, not any international trades, that is not to other kingdoms. If ever found supplying paper outside the kingdom, it would make him lose all his wealth, and his company would be confiscated, and he would have to go to jail. And we also decided the price of paper, which is totally affordable for the common people and many others to buy paper.

First, he was against it, as it would generate less profit, but I told him that, "Although this is a business deal, I am also the prince of the kingdom, so I have to think about the kingdom too." He nodded listening to me.

 {Author Note: - ok, so at how much we have the deal for paper. To understand, let's take an example: currently, the average value of paper is 165 units (the unit is just an example currency) with a production amount of 110 units. And 40 units profit and rest transportation and other activities money. But in our factory, paper production cost is 20 units and 50 units of profit and 10 units of production and other staff payments, which would sell this paper at around half the price of paper present in the market currently. In these 50 units of profit, 5 units are royalty fees to Danik Jagran.} 

We finally have a deal, and Vishesh would sell the paper throughout the kingdom only.
