"I guess we'll enter the cave afterall..." Hikari sighs.
"Leave it all to me, I need a bit of a challenge after letting you get some experience." Iskandor says, forming a sword from ice.
"I thought you only had water magic as a new element." Hikari exclaims.
"What is ice if not cold water?" Iskandor answers with a smirk, charging towards the cave and cutting the ground where he detects magic crystals. 'Jarvis, how many points would I get if I decide my territory?'
*15 to start with, but as your territory expands you will gain more points.* Jarvis answers.
'The plateau will be the seed with grows into a land where anyone can live happily. With my now 15 points purchase air magic.' Iskandor tells Jarvis.
"And now, I have mastered all four elements!" Iskandor shouts we glee.
"And now we have the 5th element... Insanity..." Hikari mutters, watching Iskandor charge into the cultist base without a care.
"I see you're back." Says a familiar voice, "You thought death could stop me?"
"Not you again..." Iskandor groans, seeing the same cultist that survived death from earlier. "You know people are supposed to die when they are killed."
"I'm but a priest to our lord, and you are our envoy from another world." The priest says.
"What makes you think I'm the one you're expecting?" Iskandor asks, preparing to kill him yet again.
"Well, you look exactly like how we were told you would look. "Scales of ebony and eyes of ruby make not our enemy. A seance of chaos will he bring, only he can set me free." Are the words we were told." The priest says.
"I may have scales of ebony and eyes of ruby, but the pain you have wrought made me your enemy, the chaos I shall bring is only for your cult as I won't be your king." Iskandor rhymed, deciding to humor the cultists game for just long enough to gain more information.
"What's up with the rhymes..." Hikari mutters.
"So you won't grace us as our God's envoy? I guess I'll make you disappear without a trace!" The priest shouts, blinking out of existence and appearing behind Iskandor.
"You are already dead..." Iskandor says.
"What?" The cultist answers, only to notice a hole in his chest and sparks coming from Iskandor's hand.
"Now stay dead." Iskandor says, glaring at the now corpse as it falls to the ground.
"When did you get lightning magic?" Hikari asks in show.
"What is lightning if not superheated air." Iskandor replies.
"Well I guess we should free any prisoners and kill other cultists." Hikari says.
"I've mapped out the cave while to priest was distracted." Iskandor says while gesturing to the network of water on the ground converging at his feet.
"What the hell! You're a huge cheat!" Hikari complains, feeling useless.
"This is what happens when I get serious, why do you think I try to be laid back all the time." Iskandor answers, "If I gave it all 24/7 it would make everyone feel useless, and I want you guys to be capable to handling yourselves if I'm busy elsewhere for whatever reason."
"It makes sense but seriously... It's like you're living life on easy-mode..." Hikari sighs.
"Not really, when I go serious it raises others expectations of me, and I can't consistently meet everyone's expectations as I can get worn out too. Not to mention that this is part of the reason I died back on Earth." Iskandor explains.
"Well, I guess that makes sense, we should go through the cave now." Hikari replies, changing the subject.
"Fine by me, this branch doesn't seem to have many cultists, but it seems to have quite a few prisoners." Iskandor says, making his way through the cave and casually killing the cultists as they appear.
"And to think that you practically just learned magic, and taught yourself magic at that!" Hikari complains.
"Don't worry about it, I'll make sure you and the other's are at least as strong as I am now." Iskandor responds. "That was the last cultists, man they're dumbasses... They have no regard for their own life."
"Let's go free the prisoners." Hikari says.
"Sure, over here." Iskandor says, leading the way.
As they free the prisoners the last cell they open reveals a nekomata, one who has clearly been tortured but despite that seems to show no fear and quickly hugs Iskandor.
"Thank you for saving me. nya." The neko says.
"No problem. How long were you here?" Iskandor asks in a gentle tone of voice.
"Nyat sure. All I knyow is they had bad auras." The neko answers, shivering at the thought of their auras.
'Looks like you got the catgirl you wanted...' Hikari internally remarks.
"I know a village not far from here, Ulmer owes me a favor so if I can call him over I'll have him escort all of you there." Iskandor tells the prisoners. "When you get to Rosemary village ask for Mason Savant, tell him that he can repay me, Iskandor Dracos, by building housing for you guys."
"Thanks!" One of the many prisoner's say.
"Won't you bring us there yourself?" Another asks.
"I'm a busy man, this is the 3rd cultist hideout I've cleared. It also won't be the last." Iskandor says, making his way outside and gives a loud wolf call. Suprisingly Ulmer and his pack arrive in no time.
"Your son's fine Ulmer, he has grown quite a bit and even found a mate." Iskandor tells Ulmer, "I'd appreciate it if you could repay the favor by bringing these people to Rosemary village in the west."
"It shall be done, when we get back could I see my son?" Ulmer asks.
"You don't need to ask, if he was here now I'd let him join you." Iskandor tells him.
With that the pack and all the former prisorers are off, save the neko who stayed behind.
I'm not sure if I'm completely satisfied with this chapter, if anyone wants to give a suggestion let me know and I might rewrite it.
(minor edit, realized Iskandor already had earth magic and now I'm trying to track down any inconsistencies, help would be appreciated)
