You look sweet together

Nich was busy with his laptop. Ever since he cut ties with James, he had been busy trying to set up his own personal business. He visited sites for advice and even planned getting a loan.

Joy was supportive and helped him too. She advised him to advertise his business through different clients from Mr Clinton's organization. That way, he would gain worthy customers.

He liked the idea but was confused on what to start with. He didn't know what exactly he wanted to do.

"I think you should start with a flower garden. A very big one where you can obtain raw materials for other products."

She suggested keeping a box of cookies besides him.

He looked at her. "Do you think it would work out? Don't you think it's too childish or something?"

"Success takes time, Nich. It's not childish. I know you can manage it well since you love flowers. I'm also sure you know different species too... afterwards, we can set up a business venture and use the raw materials for other important stuffs."

He nodded. "It's a brilliant idea. Why didn't I think of that before?" He wondered smiling at her.

She offered him some cookies which he eat happily.

"First, I need to buy a farmland, a very big one. I also need mechanisms and plant seeds too. I can plant both flowers and ordinary cash crops in addition"

He jotted them down.

Joy nodded. "The bank loan would be enough for those. The flowers gotten can be used to set up a florist shop too. your female friends would be happy about that " she said.

Nich looked at her. "I'm not irresponsible any more. Please stop reminding me I'm a flirt..."

"I never said so. Just that..." She paused an looked at him. "A fashion store would be great too, a cosmetics industry, a coffee shop, a...." She spoke hurriedly trying to change the topic.

She was becoming uncomfortable with his stares.

He kissed her. A technic she used some days ago on him.

He kissed her passionately, leaving her breathless.

After terminating the kiss, he looked at her eyes, his hands still on her shoulders.

"You talk to much" he said releasing her. He turned to face his laptop, a smirk on his face.

Joy's cheek turned red hot and she looked away in embarrassment.

"I'm going for shopping" she announced. An excuse to disappear from his presence.

"Why?" Nich asked focusing his attention at her.

"I need a change of clothes, dummy" she replied getting up.

Nich smiled at her. "You look good on what you're wearing" he said.

"I can't continue wearing your clothes Nich. Only couples do...." She touched her mouth realizing what she had just implied.

"Couples do what?" Nich asked a mischievous grin on his face. Standing up, he went closer making joy move backwards.

"Hey... I'm going anyway" she stammered looking at him.

He chuckled. "Let's go together"

Joy melted and she held her knees to prevent herself from falling. Curse his charms!

He took her to a fancy boutique. The place was divided into sections for male and female wears. The dim lights made the room look unique and it had a wonderful fragrance too.

Nich took a sat on a cushion as joy picked dresses of her choice.

She selected different wears including shoes and bags.

There was an inner dressing room, so she checked the clothes on.

Nich nodded on seeing a dress that suits her while he shook his head when she wears one that looks weird.

She soon got tired from changing and they stood in front of the counter to clear the bills.

Nich discovered she even got him a wrist watch.

"Take this" she handed a bag to him.

Looking at the content he was amazed. " You got me a watch?"

"Isn't it obvious?" She asked looking at the attendant who was busy with the bills.

"You didn't have too. I have so..."

"Must you nag over everything? It's a gift. Take it." She said looking slightly upset.

The boutique attendant requested for an ATM card which joy tried getting from her purse. Nich hurriedly handed his card to her. Joy looked at him and he nodded.

"Let me pay"

She didn't like it but kept mute. He inputed his pin number on the machine.

"You're lucky to have a girlfriend like her.." the female attendant chipped in.

Nich and joy looked at her.

"Na-ah... he's not my..." Joy spoke but Nich interrupted her.

"Thanks" Nich cut her off.

"You look sweet together" the attendant said again returning the card to him.

Joy looked at her and feigned a smile. Nich put his hands on her shoulder and smiled at the lady.

"Thanks for your service"

He replied and they left with their bags.
