A Shady Merchant

A shop sat in an inconspicuous corner of a mall, with many people walking by.

A lazy figure lied languidly on the checkout counter with a hand propping up his chin.

Messy green hair, golden pupils, and a flawless face made him stand out, but not in a good way.

'How many times have I gotten hit on by guys, it's truly sad I was born with such a face.'

Iridiel sighed softly and looked up at the door after hearing a chime of a bell.

"Greetings and welcome to The Shop, how may I help you?" His voice was sweet and cool, letting people who heard it feel refreshed and at ease.

A girl, with curly black hair and purple eyes appeared in front of Iridiel with confusion apparent in her gaze.

"Um, did you seriously name your shop 'The Shop'?" She scoffed and looked at Iridiel with scorn, but when her eyes landed on his face, her cheeks took on a shade of crimson.

"Yes, young miss, I most definitely did name my shop 'The Shop', and how may I help you?"

The purple eyed girl stood in a daze, then opened her mouth when a crisp and clear sounding voice came out.

"You damn girly boy! How much times do I have to tell you that you open shop after it all Ends?" A woman with peerless beauty stood in front of Iridiel, and the girl didn't have much of a chance to see how she got there.

"Huh? He's a boy?!" The girl half screamed in shock.

The lady turned as the corner of her lips lifted slightly.

"Child, I suggest you run along and enjoy the current world..." Her soft and melodious voice trailed off into the air before she turned back to Iridiel.

"Administrator, I did it on accident, please turn..."

"Please turn a blind eye?"

The lady gave a creepy laugh, then exploded in fury!

"How dare you ask me to give you another chance, this is the seventy sixth time you've done this!" She screamed at him while her bountiful chest heaved up and down.

"Now now, please don't get upset, it was all an accident..." Iridiel couldn't even look the lady in her eyes.

The girl looked back and forth between the two as a phrase popped into her mind.

'A shady merchant!' She didn't know why this thought was there, but when she saw how Iridiel behaved, she just couldn't help but associate him with a shady merchant.

Both turned to her and at the same time said, "You're a shady merchant!"

She staggered back, 'How did they hear that, I only thought that!'

She turned on her heels and ran out the door.

Soft claps filled the air as the Administrator clapped her hands softly.

"There goes you first customer." She said before walking out the store.
