Chapter 6

Selene.

I opened my eyes. Weary, I sat up wondering how long I had been asleep.

I glanced at my side, the room was dark but a dim light from the ceiling enabled me to see clearly inside the room.

I narrowed my gaze, anger filled me.

My inner wolf was about to explode in rage.

When will he let me out?

When will he give me back to my people?

"Argh!" I roared In anger, digging my fingers down my hair. I was burning, not from the scorching heat but from the thought of never returning home.

"I can't stay here!".

"Fucking no!"

I got on my feet, walked towards the metal door, and began to hit it harder than ever.

"Get me out of here!"

"Let me go!"

"I am not your prisoner so you can't keep me locked here?!"

"Anyone? Answer me this minute!"

I screamed at the top of my voice but there was no response. Instead, my words bounced back at me, echoing to my dismay.

"Argh!" I kicked the door with my foot and the pain I felt was very unbearable.

"Fuck!" I cursed under my breath, biting my lower lip.

I rubbed my toes together, and my eyes scanned around as I sought a way to escape this hell.

I am an alpha, not a slave and I won't sit and watch any man treat me like such.

I searched around the room but I couldn't find anything.

Frustrated, I kept sighing, and I felt beads of sweat begin to form on my forehead.

"What do you think you are doing?"

A familiar voice startled me.

I gazed up from the floor and locked eyes with him.

His eyes were so deep blue that I could see them clearly in the dark. He stood not far from where I knelt, his brows twisted in a deep frown and his black cloak gave him a magnificent look.

But I don't care!

Quickly, I got on my feet and walked closer to him.

"Get me out this minute!"

His lips curved.

"What makes you think that I will ?" He asked, watching me so cold but expressionless.

"You have to get me out of here! I don't belong here! You took me out of my pack against my will and you can't force me to abide by you and get locked in here forever!" I shrieked, my eyes not leaving me.

His smirk deepened.

"You are a funny being."

I frowned.

"Do I look like a joke to you?" I fired.

"Do you think I am joking? I don't care who you think that you are. All I need is my freedom and I order you to bestow that to me!"

Immediately, he began to laugh loudly. I watched him with clear annoyance, deep irritation shook me.

"Did you just command me?" He swiftly inquired, and the smile on his face vanished.

I took some steps closer to him.

"Yes, I did and I will say it again. Get me out of here!"

At once, radiating fury flashed through his eyes.

I gasped and took a step backward, my sight not leaving him.

"You are a very rebellious being! Stubborn and disgustingly brave. Your father traded you for victory and you are mine right from the very beginning!" He spoke, his voice echoed loudly, vibrating the room nonstop.

My eyes hardened.

Although I was a bit intimidated by his vicious presence, I wasn't scared.

"My father never traded me, you were the one who chose me for an exchange, out of your greed! You wanted a simple werewolf who has a pack to govern for your mate! Waited for years just to kidnap me and have me locked up. This is to show that you are nothing but a fucking pervert!" I yelled, my inner wolf struggling to come out.

He stood still, watching me.

At first, he didn't utter a word after my outburst, I wanted him to, I couldn't wait to pour out my mind to him, maybe that would give him a change of mind and make me go.

"I heard that you are very obnoxious."

Unsure of what he implied by that, I scoffed.

"You heard right."

His eyes narrowed, it felt like he was reading through my soul. I expected some action from him but surprisedly, he kept his cool, not acting the way I thought he would.

"Selene." He called me.

There was something strange with the way he called my name. No one has ever called me with so much emotion in my name, he is strange, very strange and I wanted nothing to do with him, absolutely nothing.

"The sooner you realize that you are never leaving this place, the better for you." He warned.

"I don't care! I will leave, I will do everything I can to escape here." I assured myself, trying to convince myself the best way I could.

He smirked, I could see that he was trying to keep his cool.

To my surprise, he turned away from me, his back facing me.

"My servants will come to serve you, eat, and get some rest."

"I don't want any of your food!" I spoke.

He chuckled. "Then you are going to die of starvation."

I scoffed again.

"Death is better than this hell."

He laughed.

"What an irony, death or hell, I am in charge, so death will bring you to me again. Enough of all these, you are in here for as long as you live. So you better eat and rest "

Before I could utter any word, he vanished.

Tears welled my eyes.

"No!"

"No!"

"Get me out!"

"Please!"

I fell to the ground and broke down in bitter tears, I buried my head in my hands, and hot tears rolled down my face.

"I want to go home, please let me go," I begged, sobbing loudly.

As much as I wanted to act brave, inside me, I was dying and losing my insanity.

I faced the door and wept bitterly.

Suddenly, I heard a faint noise.

Has he returned?

I raised my head and my eyes widened in shock.

A red smoke filled the room and standing before me was a fierce-looking man with red blazing eyes, his muscular body stood elegantly almost tearing apart the cloth that lay on his chest, his long black hair flowed, covered in red smoke.

I gulped hard in fear and my heart fell into my stomach.
