Unleashing The Beta In Him

The fierce eyes of Beta stared at every wolf surrounding him into a trap. 

Kai pushed Ivan over his back and whispered, "Hold me tight"

Ivan gripped him close making the former feel the responsibility of his mate's life depends upon him. He buried his face in the former's nape while trembling in fear. His veins tightened as he took a stance looking at the growling wolf. He saw how they were triggered and restless to attack. He exhaled sharply waiting for the right moment. A lover is always a patient wolf who knows how to protect his mate. He watched them prowling at him from every direction.  His nerves wrecked with a tremendous rage. Kai had an urge to let the Beta in him take the charge but he couldn't do it in front of Ivan. He knows his mate doesn't have any idea about it. He felt helpless but continued the fight with the rival pack. He noticed their Alpha wasn't along with them.
