Can't afford to lose you

Ivan slumped on his knees sitting close to Kai when he shattered on the floor. He saw how wounded and badly injured Kai has gotten and felt numb for a moment.

"K-Kai" His hands softly tapped on Kai's face, trying to wake him. When not getting any movement, he carefully picked Kai's head and rested it over his lap. "Why is he not waking up?" Ivan's voice broke and looked at Moon, frozen while sitting near Kai's feet.

Ivan felt something sticky fluid on his hands. When he removed them beneath the former's head, his eyes widened in horror. His breathing stuck at the throat. He couldn't feel his own heartbeats. His hands tremble after seeing Kai's blood on them. His face becomes pale in fear. A word couldn't escape from his mouth. His breathing wavered. Thick tears gathered in his eyes immediately. He held Kai closer to his chest murmuring his name repetitively. 

The sight made Augustus freeze in his place. Kai was in front of him in a broken state.
