Yvraine leader of the Ynnary Cult, of the Death God Ynnead, sat stoically in front of Roboute Guilliman the Son of Macragge as a tense silence was shared between them and finally the Demigod Primarch of Humanity spoke slowly.
"I have gone countless diplomatic meetings. I have been shot at, I have had bombs under my feet go off, and I even had contemporaries with me directly attack the people I was discussing diplomacy with, to speed things along..." The blue-painted armored form of Guilliman actually raised a hand and pinched the bridge of his nose as he audibly took a deep breath.
"But never before. Has one of my allies had the plan to directly rip a fetus out of the wife of my target of diplomacy... A target mind you, that my revived Father who is now rather active in the Galaxy wants brought into the fold." Guilliman finally snapped and his fist crated the alloy table as he snapped out. "Where does snatching his possible child help in this?!"
But Yvraine was calm as she stated simply firstly. "Ynnead spoke to me from his slumber, saying the babe's sacrifice would kickstart his awakening without needing the Crone Sword of Slaanesh being gathered. I came with you to check on the status of our goddess Isha, I never swore to aid your cause and you know that."
Guilliman's impassioned reaction faded away and he snorted as he was well aware that even his revival was just another part of the Eldar's plans to keep the galaxy from falling apart as they desperately needed the Imperium of Man to act as the meat grinder to wear at the Tyranid, Orc, and the reviving Necrons.
Finally the large Primarch bluntly asked. "Are you going to do it?" And at Yvrainne's silence Guilliman's voice softened slightly as he said. "I know you wish to do a hard thing to advance your goals... But whether you succeed or fail there will be major consequences, and who knows if it will even work."
Privately Guilliman was of the opinion that there was entirely too damned much 'godly' things happening lately. First his father returns having accepted the mantle of godhood the ignorant humans have forced upon him and was clearly even more controlling then before. Then the Chaos gods were being highly active with Khorne destroying several worlds directly. To say nothing of the Orc gods themselves finally making an appearance and for whatever reason using psychic foot constructs to crush stars and planets.
Now someone he considered somewhat trustworthy after working with them for many years was being told by their god to do... That.
Finally though Guilliman sighed and waved his hand as said tiredly. "You have met the goddess Isha, frankly I rather not a literal Death god roam the galaxy after seeing other death 'gods' in the Nightbringer shards. Please see yourself and the Ynnari out, you obviously have your hands tied in this matter due to Ynnead speaking directly." He finished making his stance.
He was a human, even if a Primarch Demi-God, he was far more... Partial to allowing Jake his dalliance with the Goddess Isha as he was well aware that his ally in Yvraine was one of convenience and he most certainly wasn't sleeping with her!
'I should have met with Eldrad instead.' Guilliman thought with some annoyance as he had no idea why his father wanted him to come with Yvraine the once Corsair, and Gladiator of the pits of Commorragh. She wasn't exactly a diplomatic individual and Jake was noted as being an entity of some power and has proven capable of effortlessly going in an out of the Warp so it's not like they could capture him.
Even as Yvraine stood up at his dismissal she seemed to have the need to have the last word as she spoke coldly. "I will bring Ynnead into this world to give the Eldar a god who can protect their souls... Whatever it takes to preform that deed is just another thing in our bloody ledgers that occurred."
And Guilliman in a moment of utter spite and feeling rather irritated at how she didn't give a blasted damn about how this put him in such a terrible position snapped out. "Yes I am sure that your intent of harming Isha has nothing to do with how she clearly disdains you in no different ways that my traitorous brothers abandoned my father and attempted to strike him down... Is that it Yvraine? You wish to strike down your race's goddess mother because she doesn't love you anymore for how you have fallen?"
Yvraine stood there stock still but veins bulged under her fair skin and Guilliman likewise tensed as his hand grasped his Father's sword that flared with divine flames as a deathly energy surrounded Yvraine as the energy of Ynnead flared with her barely contained wroth.
