'Are you going to tell me?'
'Oh for crying out loud. What do you reckon happens when you're plummeting down a cliff in a car? I got bashed around a bit.' She saw anger. 'I'd prefer to stay here than make the effort of going all the way across to the office and then having to come all the way back.'
All the way? It was five minutes if the lights were against you.
'You obviously didn't think it important enough to tell me.'
'Why should I have?'
He held on to his temper. 'Have you given any thought to what it would mean to Russell if you passed out in there? You can deny it all you like but I know there's something going on that you don't want me to know about.' She started guiltily.
'And if it's got anything to do with the case and you didn't tell me - especially after this - I won't forgive you. Russell shouldn't forgive you. And you shouldn't forgive her.' This to Ray and Julia as he straightened up to stand over her.
