Some Progress

"I've succeeded in breaking through to the spirit elder realm!" Tang Ya shouted out, whilst jumping up excitedly.

Following the stimulation of her recent broke through, two yellow hundred years old spirit ring and one purple thousand years old spirit ring then rapidly rose from fight underneath her feets.

What seems to be out of the place, the most eye catching sight was naturally the dark purple spirit ring of the thousand years old Datura Snake, in contrast to Tang Ya's original 2 hundred years old yellow spirit rings.

The glowing purple spirit ring then releases an aura filled with astounding power, thereby from now on, Tang Ya's strength have reached a whole another level from her previous self.

Bei Bei warmly smiles as he then said, "Xiao Ya, congratulations!"

Tang Ya then in return lets out a cheerful cry, as she suddenly pounces right into Bei Bei's arms, whilst giving him a big hug.

She wrapped her feminine hands around Bei Bei's broad back shoulder, and said, "Bei Bei, thank you."

Bei Bei reciprocated Tang Ya's affection and hugged Tang Ya's delicate body, with a slightly doting look appeared hidden amongst the gentle smile on his face. "Since I have promised to help you achieved your dreams, I will naturally do just that."

As Tang Ya was preoccupied resting in the arms of Bei Bei's embraced, she inadvertently saw two pairs of large, one astonished, whilst the other was mischievous, eyes looking in her particular direction. It caused her to suddenly immediately remembered that there was also another person present in the area that they're in.

She instantly broke free from Bei Bei's embrace, and looked at Huo Yuhao's eyes, whose spirit eyes were constantly flickering, with a slightly embarrassed look as she said, "What are you looking at? Haven't you seen a display of love and affection between a boy and a girl before?"

Huo Yuhao answered immediately with an extremely honest tone, "I've never seen it before!" 

On the other hand, Li Yan's answer was quite similar, but at the same time, slightly different. "Though I may not have personally saw or witnessed the act, does not simply mean that I don't know about it all." It was almost as if he implying something.

When Huo Yuhao saw Bei Bei and Tang Ya hugging each other, a indescribable sense of envy suddenly appeared in his heart.

However, he simply wasn't jealous of them at all, as his eldest senior brother Beu and his teacher Xiao Ya were truly well matched pair with each other. A well matched made in heaven.

Bei Bei then coughs lightly, and said to Tang Ya, "Alright, since you've already finished absorbing your spirit ring, we should then quickly leave this place."

"During the past few years, the number of accidents that have occurred to spirit masters entering the Great Star Dou Forest have increased." Bei Bei said.

He then warns the rest of the grouo, "Even the areas around the outer part of the Great Star Dou Forest have existences comparable to thousand year Datura Snake, so it would be in our best interest to leave sooner rather than later."

Tang Ya nodded her head in compliance, and agrees with Bei Bei's statement, "Let's go."

At this very moment, the sky had already started to dimmed, with the orange sun slowly setting in the distance.

However, spending a night and resting within the Great Star Dou Forest clearly wasn't a good plan, so the four of them, including Li Yan's spirit familiar Sun Wu then ignored their bodies's growing exhaustion, as they rapidly ran towards the outside of the Great Star Dou Forest.

Li Yan was the very least tired amongst the group, as he had been riding on the back of Sun Wu this whole time, whilst conserving most of his strength.

Since Sun Wu was an agile maneuverable type spirit beast who is used to running and jumping freely in the jungle and forest, his primate like body is built for running and jumping on trees branches.

So Sun Wu is the type to waste less spiritual energy than the three individuals, whilst running.

And whenever Sun Wu is running out of spiritual energy to support himself, Li Yan would then transferred some of his spiritual energy on over towards Sun Wu. So that Sun Wu could slowly maintained his constant running speed for much longer.

And when Sun Wu completely exhausted of all of his spiritual energy, Li Yan then immediately switches over and started running, whilst Sun Wu is forcefully returned to his spirit grimoire so that it could recover its spiritual energy.

Huo Yuhao, who had managed to recovered his spiritual power, even activated his spiritual detection sharing ability again, thereby creating another level of safety for their journey towards the exit of the Great Star Dou Forest

So much so that they even managed to evade a thousand years old spirit beast that wouldn't dare take the initiative to attack.

After rapidly hurrying along for two hours, they managed to finally return to the brook where Huo Yuhao, Tang Ya, and Bei Bei had previously eaten the roasted fish cooked by Huo Yuhao himself.

Along the way, Li Yan and the group manages to retrieve several kinds of spirit herbs. Though they were all of lesser rarity and quality than the hundred years old blood violet spirit grass. Each approximately ten years I'm age, and can be quite helpful for low spirit ranking spirit masters.

They already now several kilometres and tens of miles away from the Great Star Dou Forest, which meant that they were, fundamentally, far away from any danger.

Huo Yuhao was naturally forcefully dragged on over and made a chef one again, under Tang Ya's fierce request for him to make more of his special roasted fish. 

However, this time he didn't need to catch a fish, this time around, as Bei Bei insisted on doing it.

Bei Bei simply stretched out his right hand into the depths of the river water, he then simply unleashes the innate lightning attribute of his Tyrant Dragon of Blue Lightning.

As violet blue lightning flashed skidding across the surface of the running stream of water, shocking and completely paralysing all nearby fishes.

It causes several tens of unconscious mackerels to rise up from the running body of water, to the surface belly up like floating logs.

After that, he used powerful innate suction force of the controlling crane capturing dragon technique to quickly reel them in to land, allowing them to be nearly instantly edible as it just needs to be seasoned and cook for a little longer.

Tang Ya also took out some food that was stored from within her storage essence tool.

A group four people and a monkey sat together near a campfire, as they then ate a scrumptious dinner together.

Tang Ya was in extremely high spirits, which made her eat even more. After finishing her meal, she directly slept on the large tree nearby the campfire. 

On the other hand, the person who had actually received the most benefits out of the group today, Huo Yuhao, hadn't gone to sleep yet. 

He resisted the doubled exhaustion caused by his tired body and mind, and asked for Bei Bei to give him some pointers so that he could begin to cultivate the mysterious heaven technique for the first time.

After Li Yan had completely finished his meal, he immediately went into practice meditation, sitting crossed legged by the campfire, whilst utilising the mysterious heaven cultivation technique in order to increased his spiritual energy levels.

Since Li Yan still retains his knowledge of the human autonomy and biology, he was able to quickly identified the Qi passage way that was clearly indicated within the cultivation manual, as it correlates and intertwined with the blood vessels network in the human body.

There are approximately around 670 qi acupuncture points within the human body, building up the qi passage way, which acts as the valve to control the flow of spiritual energy within ones own body.

But, not all human individual have all of their 670 spirit acupuncture points unlocked, due to the filth and impurities accumulated over in their bodies since young.

By practicing cultivation, the blocked acupuncture point and qi channels are gradually unlocked and widen, thereby allowing more spiritual energy to flow through and making circumventing ones own spiritual energy that much smoother.

So Li Yan has been slowly cycling, circumventing his spiritual energy in the direction of his qi channels and meridians that was indicated within the mysterious heaven cultivation technique.

However, his control over his spiritual energy was not the best, thereby preventing him from making much progress in his cultivation, but that doesn't mean that his cultivation speed is slow.

It's just that Li Yan hasn't completely familiarize and regain of his spiritual energy yet in order to make significant progress within his cultivation.

The pathways that the mysterious heaven technique passed through during cultivation were much more complicated than Li Yan originally thought, as the number of passageways used by the technique were at least ten times greater than that of an average cultivation technique.

So much so that it would used up a vast majority of his spiritual energy before he could even complete a full cycle utilising the mysterious heavenly cultivation technique.

Withinside Li Yan's body, thin threads of spiritual energy, resembling a running river stream, which interconnects to form a network of passage ways.

The passageways and meridians were all small and narrow, thereby limiting the rate and speed in which Li Yan can circulate spiritual energy inside his body.

As Li Yan then continues to cultivate with the mysterious heaven cultivation technique, thereby absorbing the resulting particles of spiritual qi from the outside, and into his own body.

The resulting particles of spiritual qi then enters his body through the open pores on his body, and slowly seeped into the flowing stream of spiritual energy network.

The once thin miniscule thread of spiritual energy circulating throughout his body, gradually began to grow in terms of size and thickness.

With the more closed passageways in the interconnected spirit network began to be unlocked as Li Yan continues to practice meditation.

After a single breathe of air, Li Yan then manages to complete a full cycle of spiritual energy circulation around his entire body.

With the vast majority of the spiritual energy he have gathered, gradually accumulating within an area just below the abdominal region, which is labelled as the dantian.

The volume of spiritual energy in which his dantian can store, gradually began to increased and expand at a steady rate. With his control over his spiritual energy slowly rising.

A mechanical beep resounded inside of Li Yan's head, as the system log in the spirit grimoire is then updated.

As the dark purplish sky gradually turned dark blue, a patch of white light began to appear of from the distance, rising from the east.

Li Yan had used the entire night to unblock most of the spirit passageways inside of his body, with great effort in order to complete the first cycle of the mysterious heavenly cultivation technique.

"Fwew..." A streak of black smoke then escapes from Li Yan's mouth before he opens his eyes.
