Chapter 14- Accuse

"Who is that?" the village chief asked in a wondered manner.

"Who says that? Who is the traitor?" grand thero asked.

"Isn't that young lord Anjana? "One of man among the group said in a husky wondered manner.

"Indeed. He is. I had seen him in several times at nobleman Siriwardhana's house several times" one woman said in a hushed voice.

"Isn't young lord cousin of the nobleman?" another man asked from another and the group started to talk to each other secretly.

"Why is young lord coming here?" the village chief asked in a puzzled state.

"I came here today to catch a royal traitor," Anjana said in proudly.

"What? Who is that traitor?" the village chief asked curiously. He had some faint idea about the person who the young lord mentioned, but he wanted to clarify his doubts from the young lord himself. So he asked this matter in a grandeur manner further.

"Oh! He is a person who all of you know. All you knew him as a good gentleman but today he is not like that. He is no other than master Migara no other one who is in front of us!" Anjana said confidently.

"Master Migara! How could he become a royal traitor?" one man in the meeting asked.

"Devotee, you can't randomly accuse someone like that. How could you say that to master?" Grand thero asked.

"Grand thero, I am not randomly saying that to others. I have evidence for that. Also, I have reliable information that master is a traitor" Anjana said in some amiable way.

"So tell me, young lord, how have I become a royal traitor? What evidence do you have? "Migara asked angrily.

"Oh! You have no idea about how you became a royal traitor. Okay, I tell you. I have found you are hiding the daughter of the previous king "Anjana said sarcastic tone.

"What? That girl is the princess of the late king! It can't be, no?" one man asked with a shocked expression.

"How can it be? The young lord is there anything wrong?" the village chief asked with a scared face.

"Young lord really knows how to joke. That girl's father is me. So how could you say she is the princess of the late king? Don't make random jokes about royalty. As a young lord, you will be punished by this" Migara said in a calm voice.

"Master Migara, do you say I am joking? I am saying facts with reason. Then I ask you why you named your daughter as Mantha? Why did you come late from capital this time than previous times? Why are you afraid to say information about that girl's mother so far? If there is not some fishing point how could these doubts make?" Anjana asked question after question from Migara without any rest with confident spirit. He knew that master could not answer these question without making any doubt according to the information he received from his cousin. So he wanted to damage image of Migara further by creating doubt in villager's minds.

After hearing these villagers started to make doubt about the facts stated by young lord and started to talk among them while was looking at Migara with some hate, fear and shock. By looking at the expressions of villagers Migara made some sigh and looked at Anjana with confident eyes.

"Young lord, first I want to tell you I can name my daughter anyway I like. This name was given to her by her mother. So I keep it as it is. As I heard that the princess's name was Mahamantha, not Mantha. So what is wrong I named her that. Secondly, this is not the first time I was a late return from capital. This time I was taking more time but it was due to the mother of my daughter. I had to take care of her this time. So I was late to returning here. Thirdly, this matter concern with future living conditions of my daughter. So I could not tell you about the details of my daughter's mother.  So I have to ask sorry from all" Migara replied to Anjana straightly without making any pause.

 By looking that Anjana was shocked by seeing the expressions of Migara but he believed the facts sent by her cousin more. So he looked at Migara in a ridiculous manner and said, "Ho, why do you can't tell information about the girl's mother? If there is nothing wrong, you can tell to everyone. We accept it if it is reasonable"

"Yes master, why are you hiding the identity of baby girl's mother this much? Is there anything to hide? As the young lord stated, are those facts true?" the village chief asked in an astonished way. As being reprimanded by grand thero he was angry about Migara. So he wanted to give some lesson to him whether it make great trouble to the village. But Migara remained quietly without making any expression.

"It seems there is some fishy thing. Soldiers come and catch this traitor first and search his house if there are evidence for being royal traitor." Anjana said in excited expression and soldiers who came with him ran in front of Migara to apprehend him. 

" Wait " a distance voice sounded from the way of road of village .
