A Visit

Throughout his hero career, Ye Han has witnessed countless of things. Creatures, people, even buildings. To surprise Ye Han, the strongest hero is something to proud of. And Ye Han will admit that he was fairly surprised at this time.

Standing in front of a massive gate, Ye Han has his mouth slightly open. The compound covered a lot of areas enough to fit a ton of his apartment rooms. 'Why am I comparing this place to my apartment?'

The overall look was similar to the architectural designs of those houses he sees in his precious "anime" only scaled up and much more extravagant. During his time, such designs were not yet seen, it was more of bricks and castles. To see such new designs and at a much larger scale is definitely a first time for him.

"So this is where your family lives?"

"No. This is where I live." Akari answered casually.

"Wait! So you own this whole area?!" For a person who lives in the lowest caste of society, knowing that someone owns the entirety of such a property would naturally make their eyes open like saucers.

"Yes. And my family's visiting today so be in your best behavior."

Ye Han gulped. Even a person as cool as he would become a little bit nervous knowing the fact that he will be dining with a family of overly rich people. 'I hope I don't embarrass myself. Or Akari, she might kill me.'

The gate opened revealing a row of servants lining up to welcome Akari. "Welcome home, Miss Akari." The servants said in unison.

'This reminds of those royal events.' Ye Han thought.

The pair walked along the path made by the servants. Reaching the front door, they were greeted by a woman dressed in a different maid outfit. "I welcome you home, young miss." She said as she bowed elegantly.

"Allow me to introduce you to my head maid, Yue." Akari started.

"Good evening miss Yue." Ye Han also gave a bow of his own.

"Yue is just fine Sir Ye Han. Please follow me."

And so the two followed Yue inside the mansion until they reached a luxurious dining room. The table was arranged elegantly. Adorned with expensive looking accessories. There was no food yet on the table but Ye Han was sure that it would be equally luxurious. On the side of the dining room are rows of maids and butlers awaiting any orders.

But what caught most of Ye Han's attention are the three people already sitting on the chairs. At the head of the table is a woman about 30 years old. She had the same blue hair as Akari but much darker. Her regal appearance and calm demeanor screamed that she was a person of authority. Sitting by the woman's right is a couple. They looked young even in Ye Han's standards like they were in their mid-twenties. The male looked at Ye Han like he owed him a debt. Beside him is a gentle looking woman. She eyed Ye Han like a mother-in-law assessing her son-in-law.

"Mother, Father, Grandmother. I have come home."

When the Akari finished her greeting the woman squealed in delight and immediately went to hug Akari, smothering her between the bountiful chest of hers. Ye Han fought off the blood threatening to drip from his nose. 'Damn!'

It was then-

Whoosh!

A knife went flying straight to him. And Ye Han just barely dodged. He looked at the source and found that the man is looking at him with now murder on his eyes.

Gulping, Ye Han forced to wander his gaze around so as to avoid the very enticing view beside him.

"Come join us Akari-chan!" The woman then ushered the two to their seats, on the left of the woman that is Akari's grandmother based on Ye Han's assumption.

"You must be Ye Han!" The woman, who just escorted them to their seats started. The woman looks just like Akari but with purple hair. 'This must be Akari's mother.' Ye Han thought.

"Yes, madam. I am Ye Han indeed." His voice sounded formal.

"No need to be so formal Ye Han! Just call me Akagi-san! Here, let me introduce you to the family. "This.." She pointed at the man sitting beside her, "… is Ryo-kun, my husband. We are Akari's parents. And thank you for putting up with her."

Akari put on a pout while Ye Han just casually waved his hand in reply.

"And this here is Empress Dowager." She said pointing at the woman sitting at the head of the table.

"Empress Dowager?"

"That's just what I call her don't mind me. She's Akari's grandmother."

"Allow me to formally introduce myself." The woman stood up. "I am Zhi Ruo. The Water Monarch of the magus tower."

*clap clap clap*

But it seems that Akagi was the only one to react. But despite the lack of reaction, Ye Han noticed how the servants even Akari and her parents have a very respectful look directed towards her.

"Thank you very much for having me here." Ye Han returned the greeting.

"So Ye Han, what do you think of Akari-chan?" The woman seemed too eager to hear his answer.

Although it sounded harmless a dark pit formed inside Ye Han's stomach. 'Why is this too damn familiar?!'

"Well, I think that she's a very good person. She's smart and pretty and most of all she's a caring person. Any man who would end up as her husband will be a lucky person."

"Oooooohhh!" Hearing his response, the purple haired squealed like a fangirl. "You heard that Ryo-kun, he finds her attractive! He's the perfect man!"

Ryo looked conflicted. He turned his look towards Zhi Rou, asking for advice. "I also think that he's a good choice. I find no problem with her arrangements."

"See that Ryo-kun?! Empress Dowager also approves of him!" Ryo just groaned in annoyance then placed a glare directed towards Ye Han.

Ye Han felt confused. 'What are they talking about?!' He did not notice Akari blushing like a tomato.

'Moouu, mother, and grandma are embarrassing me. But Ye Han in apron cooking foods and caring for our children sure is nic- Aaahhhh! What am I thinking?!'

Ye Han spun around to look at the servants around but what he got is their approving gaze towards him. It was then he noticed the blushing Akari.

Okay let's establish this, Ye Han is as dense as a black hole. And seeing the blushing Akari only brought one thought in his mind. 'Is she sick?'

"Are you okay Akari?" He asked. "Do you have a fever?" But Akari was unresponsive of him. So with no choice, he held her head and bent down to touch her forehead with his own.

Akari was shocked, Akagi and Ryo were shocked, and even Zhi Rou was shocked. This bold move of him only made Akari's blush appear more crimson.

Akagi let out another squeal while Ryo glared dagger at him. Zhi Rou just appeared neutral.

"Hmmm, definitely not a fever." He said maintaining the contact of their foreheads. 'Wait, what am I doing? Oh, sh*t. Akari will kill me.' Ye Han immediately broke contact and sat straight on his chair. This managed to calm Akari's rampaging heart.

'An interesting man indeed.' Zhi Rou thought.
